As interesting as this EP is, I'd love to hear a sound this heavy, sharp, and noisy combined with some vocals. That would really complete the picture here.
They've done a few songs with vocals on previous work. To be fair, the songs themselves rule but the essence of this band's hooks is already carried by those crazy ass guitars.
Gonna be honest. Not really vibin with this one. There were a few parts where I was like oh this goes kinda hard. But there was just too much chaotic moments that I was just not a fan of. Nothing to really grab and hold onto for a little bit. Not enough repetition of certain parts I felt like they should have repeated. The production is obviously crazy good though.
@@kdcsatx no definitely not. Most things you do a second time you will notice something new and it will become more familiar to you. But that was just my opinion on a first listen. There is plenty of bands I have listened to and wrote off for years and then I give it another listen at some point and become obsessed so I'm not saying this won't grow on me.
@@miataqc8763 I sort of agree with you. Impressed with the production on this one, haven't really heard any quite the same elsewhere, but there are just a handful of moments, and a few select songs on this EP that really stick with me or leave me wanting more. Big potential, but underdelivered a bit, is my take. To put it bluntly, it's a solid project, but overrated, I think. I also don't get why so many people are calling this EP the heaviest thing they've ever heard. Especially with a complete lack of harsh vocals, I just don't hear that at all. Heavy? Absolutely. Top tier brutal, it really isn't even close. Where I disagree with you is the chaos factor, I find controlled chaos pretty fun and enjoyable. Tends to keep things unpredictable and engaging. That's just preference though.
