This is the song The Mirror Blue Night from Jonathan Groff and Lea Michele's LAST performance of Spring Awakening on May 18th at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. Spring Awakening is a rock musical set in Germany in the late 19th century, It is all about exploration of sexuality and the growth of those feelings. WARNING: Themes are very mature!!

This is my favorite performance of the show. This secen and the scene where he sings those you've known and where he cries after learning of Wendal death. He is a phenominal singer and actor. He is amazing and wow is performance is just wow.

Hey, I know your post is 6 years old, but... to answer your question--I'm assuming you mean the song title--I think it means that Melchior spends his nights analyzing himself, his beliefs, his life, etc. and the blue night is the metaphorical mirror he holds up to himself to understand and see himself for who he really is and the man he's becoming.
