He lived an extraordinary , rich life! Endured himself for generations of children who enjoyed his comedy and antics! There was nothing tragic about his career, even sang a Christmas Carol with Nat King Cole...Danny was and still is a Legend!

Not miserable. A great life, a great actor and artist, a man of great kindness and charisma.

You should gave presented a much better and more appropriately titled video for this wonderful, sweet man and all his amazing accomplishments. Danny Kaye deserves better.

Exploitative post ...nothing tragic except the title of this post

I would say the title of this video is inaccurate. He was well respected, was in huge and successful movies, and if you talk to his kids, they will verify his wonderful life. He was multi-talented, singer, dancer, actor, and tireless worker for charitable works. His kids loved him. He was exceptional at keeping Bing Crosby (White Christmas) entertained and happy, as Bing could be a sullen person. The scene where they dressed like women singers was an ad-lib by Danny where he kept putting the feather fan in front of Crosby.

Can somebody please explain to me where is the tragedy? Is that what you call a miserable life? An amazing entertainer, who make people laugh, a great musician, and a man with a heart flooded with love and generosity, Tragedy? for G-d's sake.

It's lucky Kaye stayed faithful to his true calling. He shall remain one of my personal favorite celebrities of all time.

What a stupid title, just an attention grabber that has no relation to the content. Also a very poor job of having the timing of the photos coincide with the story line. I was always a big fan of Danny Kaye and wish this could have been presented better.
