I played one TTAA match in the German premium mig21 and they thought I was you and I got targeted within ten seconds, even by teammates. I survived for like. A minute and then I got kerblammed.
@@marseille1196 He legit stated in previous videos that he only plays realistic while watching videos/shows. Plus why would his stats matter in realistic if he does not play realistic seriously?
@@demonicsuagercane that’s a stupid excuse. The fact is if you were to put him against any top rb player, like defyn in a 1v1 (doesn’t matter if it’s in ab or rb), we both know this guy would get bodied. Arcade is about clubbing fools who aren’t paying attention or don’t know what they’re doing. Rb is about skill
If pretty much anyone was put up against defyn they would get destroyed. That is not a fair comparison. Aoeilaeiepae flies high tiers where ttaa has a higher skill cealing and lower skill floor (in my opinion) than realistic. This means that it is easier for an unskilled player to do well in arcade, but it also leaves more potential for growth than realistic. Now this is not true for low tiers where realistic takes more skill to slowly pick apart enemy teams with an energy advantage. Of course this is all opinion based and so there is no use arguing :). Hope that clears it up@@marseille1196
Can confirm, arcade is chaos incarnate. Only difference between this and RB is that RB is organized chaos. Both take skill, and arguably are completely different skillsets. Good video, sir!
I would disagree the skillset is mostly the same. It is pnly slightly different that the focus in AB is a bit more shifted to perception and multitasking. But it is really close together.
i dont get how people say that you dont have skill because you play arcade, you are literally obliterating entire teams and you are have mastered the skill of having fun in war thunder
if he was good he would play realistic his stats in rb are ass that is why he plays arcade only people who are bad at the game play arcade@@dadolphinplayz
Although I don't enjoy Arcade, its not the experience im really looking for when I play Air, but listening to what he says, although this gamemode seemingly makes some airframes absolutely fucking cracked, and Air RB players will scoff because all it looks like is just missile spam and doing big swoops, he does display he has alot of intimate knowledge in brawling aircraft. To understand your BR and understand who you can and can't turn into or turn on it pivotal for Air engagements. I learned this by going funnily enough on tech trees of the F-100 century fighters and playing F-4s, cutting my teeth on that then playing the F-5E. Learning your airframes strengths and weaknesses can be learned as easily as reading the wiki, but learning how to use that information is another matter entirely. People sleep on this man because he plays a niche gamemode that people write off because it is more forgiving...I don't play it but I honestly think its sad.
1:28 yeah, I play a different, completely different game, and learned pretty quick that about 2km or 1mi in that game was close enough they couldn't flare and far enough the missile could actually hit them. Actual range dependent on target heading, your heading, altitude, terrain, speed, their speed, etc
As a winner-takes-all player in all the games that I do play, Air Arcade doesn't give you the snowball experience in a satisfying manner. ARB does that experience way better, at least at top tier. The launch and run playstyle that gets boring really fast in ARB completely dominates Arcade. Sure, spotting a player unawares is a talent and skill all on its own, but more often than not it's the only thing you have to do in Arcade Battles to find success. If there's a good enemy player on Arcade, but you've fucked all the opponents into P51s, there's no chance for a skill check one on one where you smack a good guy down even through a sea of shit. I find winning in Arcade a lot less fulfilling than in ARB - and that becomes a problem when Arcade queues are way slower and smaller than Realistic queues. I mean, what's the point in enduring long-ass queue times, playing against the same players over and over again, if I know what the outcome is going to be before I even enter the match? Making the game go ding 10+ times gets real boring when everyone's dogshit...
Thoughts on the J-7E in arcade? Only play RB and it retains a lot more energy than the delta wing MiG-21s and the PL-5Bs are pretty fun to get long snipes or close-range high-lead shots with
i found the r-60mk very unreliable in ARB constantly struggeling to lock in both head ons and rear locks also arcade looks really cool but the rp gain looks abysmal great video
Is using a controller on sim still physically impossible? I could never rig the controls to actually work when I was forced to do the tutorial any time I tried to get into sim... and I wish gaijin actually made the grind fun... 5,000 matches to get the next plane isnt fun
All war thunder needs to do for people to have more fun is infinite respawns for the entire deck along side more variety in objectives infinite skill cap would still exists so worse players still play the top tier planes and utilize all the top tier benefits in variety of ways that force strategy changes through out the game.
They really do. You just need to know when launch them, i find 1000m (+- 200m) perfect opportunity in head-ons and 200m less for rear shots (missile needs more time to kill in rear aspect, so that where range cut comes in). If dude is in furball and slow, even 2km will be fine...unless any ally fly close, or someone pops a flare, or even launches missile. Not to mention the sun.
@@alexturnbackthearmy1907 i usually shoot them at 2km to 7km in rb If the enemy so much as moves these things often lose track Hope the r73 on the mig 29G is better
@@FM-hw8yv Not really. R-73`s are much better (especially in tracking departament). But unlike R-60, when R-73 is THAT close its just impossible to dodge, it will just see trough any flares and will pull right into the enemy even harder then R-60 ever could. Its obviously has an about 1km more range (its nearly impossible to hit a plane even 2.5km away rear aspect with r-60, unless it is very slow), but you will use it in pretty much same way, just better.
To the grumpy old gamers.... yes you can see all the players on the map... You can in chess too... its not a game about skill Its a game about shame get gud i havent air arcaded in soo long... those highspeed runway captures;)
RB copers in this comment section really trying to pretend like they hadn't played AB before lol Edit: oh wow you hate AB...yeah that totally makes you cool lol wtf
That where i was...until i realised that even complete sucker suffers less in RB then pretty good player in AB from few test rounds. That grind is atrocious.
ehhhhhh I am dogshit at air rb but I jump into air arcade and stomp the yard like it owes me money. Keep sayin it takes skill lol. I do love the videos though.
no lol anyone can do this if he was good he could get 5 or 6 or maybe even 7 kills in RB!!!! not AB where your opponents have no idea what they are doing plus the gamemode is stupid with the turning and arcade sense of it. if you were actaully good you wouldn't play aracde bc its seal clubbing plus ass. this guy has a terrible kd in air rb @@shingosshojiopoulos6608
@@Aoeilaeiepae The irony in the fact that the R60 can be found in 9.0 against planes that have no flares, which makes them understandably overpowered there too.
@iceCreemi ah but those aren't all-aspect, and lots of planes get good rear-aspects then. Rank 6 is a pretty brutal tier for most people. You're new to missiles, and most people don't have flares.
are you 100 percent confident they arent the all aspects? ive been caught in headons and been shot at by planes that are more or less past me, perhaps a lag thing for that, but that doesnt explain front locks. this is 9.3, am i missing something? for F100s, F104s, Demons and etc, an r60 feels like certain death. @@Aoeilaeiepae
Even easier. I managed to do the same in air RB few times. Just a fury, double 7.7 and 1000 bullets, no need to even reload. The only challenge is someone as good as you are or better (if they are not in monoplane).
I mean, I'll break the game with any all-aspect infrared missile. Been farming teams with the Python 3 for the last week. I tried out a few titles. This is the one people clicked on *shrug* original title was "how to be awesome with R-60Ms". *shrug* people are negative it seems ... as you would know.
@@kriegkorpsmen1066 I've got no dog in this race, but a good half or so of his kills are on people within seconds of them spawning. That's the antithesis of skill lol. Half of his maneuvers would literally break his plane in half in RB as well. It's fun to watch, but to pretend it takes MORE skill than RB is silly. It's just a totally different style of play
This entire video is just describing why arcade is a bad mode, and claiming those are the reasons its a good mode. Arcade is just rb with training wheels and absolutely terrible spawning mechanics that are easily exploited as this video demonstrates.
@@AlleyCat6446 god damn you really got pissed of commenting under multiple videos. My guy nobody is forcing you to watch them. Stop hatewatching and do something with your life
It always amazes me how air realistic move switch from "air RB needs a rework, it's unfun" to HOW DARE YOU NOT WANT TO PLAY AIR REALISTIC when someone posts something about the other mode
