Interesting video on the apache language and how rarely it is used and how ultimately it could go extinct....no way !! i dont get paid to do anything you see in my videos ......i just do this as a hobby ...........thanks for watching !!
After this movie was made Berle and Elbis passed away sadly. But, my mother is one of the last full blood Warm Springs Chiricahua Apache left here in Mescalero. Her mother Evelyn Martine was the last Chiricahua Apache born as a US prisoner of war in 1912 in Ft . Sill Oklahoma. I've learned an Apache prayer from Scott Rushforth and wish he was still helping to teach Apache here, he is a very good speaker.
My mother should have helped with this movie, she is a cousin to one of the dialect coaches, his name was Berle Kanseah. The other was Elbis Naiche, a great granddaughter of Naiche.
My mother is a direct descendant of Warm Springs Chiricahua Apache chief's Victorio, Mangas Coloradas, Loco, and 2 US Chiricahua Apache scouts Charles Martine Sr and Paul Guydelkon Sr.
