When a Chad's Fab video shows up I know I'm getting ready for some great family entertainment. Love how the family and friends all work together and can't help but realize I have a big smile on my face before I'm barely into it. Love the video's Chad and always learn something and enjoy seeing the family work together on any project. You have a great family and a fantastic circle of friends.

Great family/team project. The interior would make Gonzo proud. Just need a splash of eccentric color. Some of which is provided by the instrument cluster. Once the wooden bed, tail lights, finish paint are done, Chad will have some truck to make memories.

Love this, the interior has that OE feel, which is very hard to achieve now days, with LCD dashes etc, That bed just makes it, the patina matches, even the blue from bits at the front, Just a real quality build, you should all be very proud of what you have managed to build, I loved the Fab Rats video about you working on your own truck, so funny to watch you working on it not knowing, reminded me of the Nugget story, Many see cars of just metal to get them from A to B, I love cars in the same way you guys do, they almost have a soul when you put your own touch on them, Also in the UK we call the "jockey" box a glove box. Keep up the content, it is greatly enjoyed around the world.

GREAT great gift from Paul and Fab Rats. Chad nothing in life is free. Many may see this truck as free from Paul but you and your family did the best show of gratitude, you didn't stop with the gift you made it better and you made it yours, that is an even bigger Thank You to Paul than the near tears you shed when he told you. In this throw away world you and your family fight the tide, improving but keeping older vehicles with their classic look. I hate to differ with you but this world doesn't need more leaders and less followers, we all need to walk together more! The US Army RANGERS have it to a science- training and planning from the bottom up. At any point any member can either take charge or be trusted to know and do their mission and other's. Too many leaders and no one does the work- Too many followers and no one knows what they are doing. I love all the work you do and all you teach and pass on to your boys. Thank You! I am so in love with Gonzo. The only pickup I am aware of my father ever owning was a 1960 or 61 Apache that had a problem with 1st on the three speed which always caused issues on the hills in our area. Watching FabRats start the project and seeing you really bring it home has been such an unlocker of memories and just a joy to watch.

I enjoy and value your "old wisdom" advice when your close out. Most of it is inspirational, otherwise i's aspirational.

The truck is looking really nice. Great job. I am 64 and lived in the southeast all my life. Never heard of a jockey box until a few months ago when someone from Idaho called it that. They had a different name for a ditch along the side of a road too. Forgot what they called that. Yep. Apparently jockey box is a northwestern thing. :) Really enjoying the channel. Thanks

To bring an animal down of that size normally would take a tank and to do it with a stick and a string is amazing. Your closing statement couldn't be truer. Great work done and a lot of it. Truck looks good. My first one was that sky blue, but the truck was only 10 years old at the time and loved it when it was waxed.

Fall cruising in an old pickup with the windows down is truly one of life's great pleasures.

That upgraded Dash is so good looking & sure gives a new look along with the Fleetside Bed, makes a totally Awesome difference. Now all it needs is a good paint job & will look like a new-old Truck. I personally always love the styling of those trucks from 64 to 67. I learned to drive on a 63 & the big difference from 63 to 64 was getting rid of the "Knee Knockers". Can't remember how many times I wore that pillar post on My knees.

I watched a RU-vid video recently about how they do Pacing for Movie editing in Hollywood. It's the true art of Editing. Mom does a wonderful job of pacing by showing how time-consuming the installation of soundproofing can be for one panel and then playing the majority of the project. "Shoe Leather" is what the Hollywood folk call the minutiae, the cleaning, grinding, and prep work. When Hollywood shows car builds, they are in montages to show the highlights and keep the pace of the movie up. We want to see the dirty bits, but when you see one, you don't need to see them all. Good job mom. FYI, Mom said, "Spray Tack and Static." Robby Layton says "Blow Tack and Static," while Rory Irish says "Blow Torch and Static." I like Rory's the best.

That will always be a special truck...it has a history.

Love your videos on the old trucks. I really like your son’s ‘50s model. My dad had a ‘53 GMC when I was youngster. That’s been a while ago since I was able to sit on my dad’s lap and steer it to town while he ran all the pedals and the floor shift.

I don't remember the name of the channel that got this truck for you, but I bet they are very proud of what you have done to this truck. I liked the step side better and add the roll bar and light's. But too each their own.
