When a Chad's Fab video shows up I know I'm getting ready for some great family entertainment. Love how the family and friends all work together and can't help but realize I have a big smile on my face before I'm barely into it. Love the video's Chad and always learn something and enjoy seeing the family work together on any project. You have a great family and a fantastic circle of friends.
Chad and Stacey, their whole family and their friends are truly awesome people. We all appreciate them and their videos a whole bunch and may they all keep on truckin'!
@13:13 - years of marriage, whole mess of kids, and her voice still gets that woobly note in it when she's talking about you. That right there is a treasure and a blessing!
I believe Mar-K sells the best in bed restoration parts, including new bed wood and strips, etc. The truck is looking Great! nice job on the seat install.
You've been blessed with Great People 👍 Thanx for sharing your Great experience 👍 Have a Great Day 👍 God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸 Merlin and Paul's family and friends are Great 👍People
Great family/team project. The interior would make Gonzo proud. Just need a splash of eccentric color. Some of which is provided by the instrument cluster. Once the wooden bed, tail lights, finish paint are done, Chad will have some truck to make memories.
Well Mr Chad your always there for your friends. You Have a big heart. You deserve to be paid forward. I just hope which ever one of your kids you decide to leave it to. Really understands how special that truck is
Love all the attention to detail that went into this truck, like melting the loose edges of carpet in the holes. A lifetime of doing what you love...thanks to Chad and family for all of these videos.
Love this, the interior has that OE feel, which is very hard to achieve now days, with LCD dashes etc, That bed just makes it, the patina matches, even the blue from bits at the front, Just a real quality build, you should all be very proud of what you have managed to build, I loved the Fab Rats video about you working on your own truck, so funny to watch you working on it not knowing, reminded me of the Nugget story, Many see cars of just metal to get them from A to B, I love cars in the same way you guys do, they almost have a soul when you put your own touch on them, Also in the UK we call the "jockey" box a glove box. Keep up the content, it is greatly enjoyed around the world.
GREAT great gift from Paul and Fab Rats. Chad nothing in life is free. Many may see this truck as free from Paul but you and your family did the best show of gratitude, you didn't stop with the gift you made it better and you made it yours, that is an even bigger Thank You to Paul than the near tears you shed when he told you. In this throw away world you and your family fight the tide, improving but keeping older vehicles with their classic look. I hate to differ with you but this world doesn't need more leaders and less followers, we all need to walk together more! The US Army RANGERS have it to a science- training and planning from the bottom up. At any point any member can either take charge or be trusted to know and do their mission and other's. Too many leaders and no one does the work- Too many followers and no one knows what they are doing. I love all the work you do and all you teach and pass on to your boys. Thank You! You are in my prayers Hoka Hey
Chad, it's always so great to watch how you and your family and friends come together for each other. So far from start to now all of you have helped to make this truck look so beautiful and I like many others can't wait to see the completed truck. Great videos from the start and I'm glad that a man like you can have so many happy and fun times with those you love. Also, every one of those vehicles you guys had on display at that show looked so great. Thank you Merlin for finding that bed because that was the thing needed to make this truck look so much better. To all of you that aren't subscribed help Chad out and show him love and subscribe.
The truck is looking really nice. Great job. I am 64 and lived in the southeast all my life. Never heard of a jockey box until a few months ago when someone from Idaho called it that. They had a different name for a ditch along the side of a road too. Forgot what they called that. Yep. Apparently jockey box is a northwestern thing. :) Really enjoying the channel. Thanks
Gonzo is going to really be a sweet ride when finished! From where the project started to where it is now, the difference is night and day! Fab Rats are such good people, and Paul knew you were so deserving and knew what you would do to the truck. It was a no-brainer! We want to see the finished project, and you taking Stacey to church! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next.😊
Absolutely beautiful!! She looks sweet. Like the perfect girlfriend. From the outside, like a hardworking country girl. Inside, soft and nothing out of place. Once you push the skinny pedal south, that's when she shines the brightest. All smiles. Great job crew.
That truck is so rad, everybody loves the new and shiny stuff these days but they don't realize that these classics are timeless and will never go out of style.
Chad you are such a good guy taking the time to thank everyone that helped on the truck. Also I’ve said it before but I’m going to say it again. You are a very wise man and I always look forward to your words of encouragement at the end of your videos. Thank you.
Once again it is a joy to watch the relaxed non frenetic way Chad's fab is presents. Not that I do not enjoy the others channels in this crowd Every channel has its own character look and feel Thanks to all on your show O yes I just love how the editor presents the channel Not overload music but just blended in well done Mom
@chadsfab thank you and yes I have took it to Saint George for a show since then but moab next spring will be my next show I'll spend the winter changing motors and upgrading stuff on it
Great to see the family that everyone wants to have and needs. Working on projects together. Including the maybe not blood family but may as well be too.... friends.
Love your videos on the old trucks. I really like your son’s ‘50s model. My dad had a ‘53 GMC when I was youngster. That’s been a while ago since I was able to sit on my dad’s lap and steer it to town while he ran all the pedals and the floor shift.
I received my green Gonzo shirt yesterday, it’s nicer in person 😊 Thank you for the stickers, especially the Korbin Approved 😉 We love watching your family every Monday….
To bring an animal down of that size normally would take a tank and to do it with a stick and a string is amazing. Your closing statement couldn't be truer. Great work done and a lot of it. Truck looks good. My first one was that sky blue, but the truck was only 10 years old at the time and loved it when it was waxed.
I watched a RU-vid video recently about how they do Pacing for Movie editing in Hollywood. It's the true art of Editing. Mom does a wonderful job of pacing by showing how time-consuming the installation of soundproofing can be for one panel and then playing the majority of the project. "Shoe Leather" is what the Hollywood folk call the minutiae, the cleaning, grinding, and prep work. When Hollywood shows car builds, they are in montages to show the highlights and keep the pace of the movie up. We want to see the dirty bits, but when you see one, you don't need to see them all. Good job mom. FYI, Mom said, "Spray Tack and Static." Robby Layton says "Blow Tack and Static," while Rory Irish says "Blow Torch and Static." I like Rory's the best.
See what happens when you give more than you receive!!! You have obviously earned this truck in Pauls eyes! He is a very good person!!! And gives back what he gets! I can't wait to see the finished product!
It was fun to watch the interior progress. The best of both worlds. The box does make the truck what it should be. I was glad to see that you found a GMC tailgate.
I don't remember the name of the channel that got this truck for you, but I bet they are very proud of what you have done to this truck. I liked the step side better and add the roll bar and light's. But too each their own.
Wow Chad the truck looks awesome with the new bed great job on the interior love it, yes great friends make great things happen makes life easier keep up the great builds I will be tuning in as always!
Was great to see gonzo you and all the family at the car show. Nice to see how you mounted the shoulder harness. I did the same with my 59 F100. Great minds you know. Ha ha.
I am so in love with Gonzo. The only pickup I am aware of my father ever owning was a 1960 or 61 Apache that had a problem with 1st on the three speed which always caused issues on the hills in our area. Watching FabRats start the project and seeing you really bring it home has been such an unlocker of memories and just a joy to watch.
Sounds like this was a team build. So many hands helping bring it all together. We do understand the wisdom of your leader/follower comment but, we know Chad is the leader building more leaders.
That upgraded Dash is so good looking & sure gives a new look along with the Fleetside Bed, makes a totally Awesome difference. Now all it needs is a good paint job & will look like a new-old Truck. I personally always love the styling of those trucks from 64 to 67. I learned to drive on a 63 & the big difference from 63 to 64 was getting rid of the "Knee Knockers". Can't remember how many times I wore that pillar post on My knees.
I know that I'm going to be the odd man out, but I've always been a sucker for a stepside. But I sure can't knock what she is, a whole lot of work can make a Jewel of anything. Taikuu for showing us how you put things all together.. Till the next..👍👍
Love the way your truck is coming together. I can sure tell you and your family are genuine good people. Also, your message at the end is so true. More strong people and less division in this world would go a long way.
