It’s no secret that All Stars 1 was made for Chad Michaels. That’s the only reason an All Stars season was made, and why Latrice does not acknowledge season 1 as a legit run.
That's how I differentiate people, are they a Manila towards AS1 or are they a Latrice. Basically are they looking at things professionally or realistically?

Wasn't team Latrilla mistreated when they did the best in the street walking challenge, but they still ended up in the bottom/got eliminated because of the lack of "synergy"?
several queens have come out and said that entire challenge was edited/rigged, lots of girls got their jokes edited out just so chad could win the challenge
I think Alaska won fair in square... detox was the only one that gave her a run for her money. Alaska killed every lip sync except the very last one. Katya definitely lost the Cherry Bomb lipsync, The detox lipsync, and the snatch game lipsync so
Like I’m not a Katya or Alaska fan but All Stars 2 was set up for Alaska to win I am not saying Katya was robbed because she wasn’t but it was rigged for Alaska to win even to the point of casting it wasn’t fair for Tatianna, PhiPhi and Adore as they were the only queens from their seasons and it also wasn’t fair for Katya and Ginger since they just finished season 7 AND it also wasn’t fair for Coco and Alyssa because they had to suffer from all the Rolaskatox bull shit and Roxxxy was only in the bottom so the only person that Alaska could actually compete against is Detox but most of the challenges were designed to Alaska’s strengths so it was obvious she would win
Mimi was mistreated on this season as well. She and Pandora had the best synergy on the runway, which was the entire fucking point of that runway; and they made good use of the medium of photography, which was the main challenge. Objectively, they should have won that week.
Agree, also it was Mimi the one that actually fight to stay while pandora just gave up and it look that she didnt care, in my opinion, team mandora was eliminated because of Pandora, being fair, Mimi did ir better than Chad in the lypsing, but the judges will never eliminate chad, for me the real robbed queen was Mimi, also considering all the bulling she recived from the other queens aka raven
@@alfredoleal1601 Pretty sure Pandora knew that no matter how well they'd do, they were going home first or second at best, they were gonna eliminate Mimi in the first or second regardless of anything.
Considering that Willam got disqualified and also was uncomfortable with many things of RPDR yeah, i would pick someone else over willam too if i were the producers.
Basically Willam gave the show a slap to the face and I'd imagine the producers got their own back by not letting him compete last second. Hence Mimi appeared and was called out as an all star early on.
I really liked Pandora. I thought she had a fun campy aesthetic and her charming wit and humor was really on point. She had a genuine sweetness, vulnerability and sincerity to her that in my opinion was lacking in her fellow season 2 sisters.
Rujubee "Dancing on My Own" lipsync is bad? Wow... Snatched my wig, mama... Also, i dont think it's fair to compare any lipsync to Sasha's "So Emotional"....
I really like your misstreated queens format, even tho i'm into pretty much everything from your channel. I would love to see a Video about some Seasons7 Girls tho since i really think some of them werent shown as good as they should. Like Max, Fame and wtf was that Pearl Storyline pushing her into a fucking sleepwalker, while she was the funniest out of them, eventho unintentionally. Also poor Ginger in AS2.. Is everyone forgetting Pandora's attitude after being paired with Mimi though? She flat out gave up, and that was clear. Regardless of who she was paired with, she came to the competition to compete, and she didn't really do that.
Maybe not, but there's the possibility that she gave up because she knew that the producers brought Mimi in to be first eliminated; they always do that, cast some girls as filler and eliminate them in the first weeks like Kalorie or Kahanna, and even if they do good they still put them in the bottom if they have the chance, like Laila in the first episode. Sure, it wasn't the best thing to do but I do understand her.
When I started watching drag race beginning from the first season, I thought to myself that it would be a cool idea to have a tag-team themed season or something because I thought that the 'Frenemies' challenge in Season 4 was kinda cool. All Stars 1 happened and I was shocked to see that it was tag-team and then I was letdown because that season is a bit of a mess lol.
It could've been interesting if the queens were allowed to enter as teams with a team-mate of their chosing from the get-go. Like if they applied for the season together. The problem here is that the queens really didn't get a fair choice in partners. They had onyl 11 queens to chose from and they ahd to be lucky enough for the other one to chose them back.
I think I’m the dancing on my own lip sync (raven vs jujubee), was great because they didn’t try to outshine each other because of their friendship. I think it’s pretty emotional for me, especially that song.
I don't blame Pandora or Mimi. Both don't deserve the hate ( my opinion on Mimi has changed alot). The horrible Allstars 1 system fucked up both carreers
And I still don't know why AS1 was made "for Chad to win". I mean I love Chad and she deserved the crown 100% (dunno if on this season since cast was super strong), but Manila and Raja was best and closest top2 ever, much better than Sharon and Chad. Ru just had to screw up Manila's chance so we have clear winner, with her and Chad as a final 2 it would be hard for Ru to crown Chad, I mean cmon
I know, Manila is a queen who really earned her crown! She did the same as raja on the competition so she deserved to win more than chad. Sadly, ru and the producers LOVE chad, it evens bothers me when somebody says chad was robbed or chad did better when Sharon basically swept the floor with all s4 cast, she beat her competition in every single aspect and chad had no chance of winning even if she did kinda good, but Manila was definitely closer to win.
André Andrade i still don’t get why they love chad so much, I mean she’s great but she didn’t do that well on her season, Sharon won fucking 4 challenges and killed her competition in every single aspect it bothers that ru or the producers even thought on the chance of crowning Chad instead of Sharon
@@arturollll537 but Absolute didn't wanted the brand associated with Sharon, and as far as I know at the time of the show Chad was really famous, even more than the show itself. Personally I think Chad is boring, but I understand their love for her
André Andrade yeah, Chad was very famous at the time so it would be shocking if she didn’t make it far but still imagine a world when Sharon wouldn’t have won, it’d be so illogical but I’m happy they did the right thing and still they shouldn’t have created as1 just for chad having super great queens in the cast it could have been so great that season
I believe Mimi Umfirst didn't deserve to be there in the first place but since she was there, it was very lame to see how the other queens questioned her talent and attacked her personally for her past mistakes. I mean yeah it was very bad but damn, give her a break, she was mistreated by everyone including Pandora Boxx
Team Rujubee's lipsync wasn't the best. I'll admit that. However, it did push the boundaries of this particular art "performative lipsyncing". The point of the Lipsync For Your Life is to show that you deserve to stay. They both showed that they deserved to stay by pushing the boundaries of their art, which is something that should always be respected in drag.
Ok youre the one pushing some boundries now. I think it might have moved the concept of LsFYL from competing against to performing together, ill give you that
I feel like every drag queen from Puerto Rico was mistreated just because of a language barrier. Maybe if Nina Flowers won her season (based on track record she should've won) Bebe would've been on AS1.

@@Paddy-if3nd That and they were literally sent home for 0 reason. Like, objectively, Mimi and Pandora should not have been in the bottom 2 at all. A) Their photographs fit the theme perfectly and made sense, for both them as individuals, as well as them as a team, and just worked cohesively without being overly complicated (Which was the main critique of Yarlexis and Shad). B) They had far more cohesive runways than like half the cast (Again, how do pictures of yourself not land in the bottom two over literally exactly what the runway asked for. I love Yara and Alexis but I have no clue why they weren't in the bottom two in episode 1). Also, Mimi won that lip sync. Chad broke the rules by shoving Mimi at the end (How ironic). That and Mimi actually fit the song. Chad just kinda had stank face the whole time (Although that was unintentionally funny).
@@airtempest8945 I firmly believe All Stars 1 just happened so Chad can have the crown. They loved both Sharon and Chad in season 4 and wanted both to be crowned queens.
I think the reason why juju and raven were in the finals being that 1. Juju was basically suffocating 2. The both fell apart 3. The judges were also broken 4. Juju and raven both told the producers to give their spot to each other
But like, they barely showed Yara at all, and she was killing it in the little we saw (They literally showed her right when she pressed the buzzer, and right when she was turning at the end, and then like 1 move of her's that was killer). Alexis was also killing it while she was up there.
@@airtempest8945 contrary to what ru said, i dont see the button as a lifeline, tagging your partner means they were failing, and that means you pretty much lost the lip sync, it was stupid, if the other team doesnt need to tap out then they have more control, it wouldnt have mattered how yarlexis approached it

Well. The episode when Raven and jujubee were in the bottom 2, was pretty fucked up, they were robbed, still don't know why the fuck Shad won that challenge, Rujubee had the best critiques
All stars 1 needs to just be repeated in the new format, not the abysmal team/6 episode thing. It was the most iconic line up we’ve had so far and it was such a waste
Tammie also talked about how all her good parts of her lip sync against Latrice were cut out to make her look worse and that she actually did really well for Nina but was set up to fail.
Sorry but the most mistreated queen this season was MIMI. She was bullied the whole episode, she wasn't wanted as a partner, Pandora's attitude toward her was very bitchy, she was told at least twice that she was there only because they needed someone to go home first, all of them ganged up on her in untuck, and she was way better than chad in the lip-sync in which btw she was pushed by chad (why in that case drag isn't a contact sport?) and even in this video you use her as a detriment of why another queen was supposedly mistreated. The nerve!
I almost peed my pants when you said "Team Panila". Panila is a highly derogatory term for homosexual males in Portugal. For them to be called Team Panila would be, in Portuguese, pretty much like naming them Team Fruitcake. Maybe some things are just not meant to be.
Maybe its on a different race chaser episode, but I've definitely heard Willam say that it all boiled down to PhiPhi/Jaremi's DUI. If PhiPhi had been available for AS1, and had not been dealing with her DUI, then Willam would have been on AS1. PhiPhi and Willam had a LOT of drama during their season, and they were looking to keep that going during AS1. As Willam put it " without PhiPhi there was no one for me to fight with".
I agree with this. Allstars one paired Manila and Nina with two lower performers. Nina was amazing in season one. Manila is my all time favourite and it's upsetting to see her lose thrice now. I do really like Chad though and Jujubee. "In a competition neither of you will win".. Oh the shade darling
Pandora and Mimi both need to be given a second chance. To me, they were both "robbed" of a chance to show how much they grew since their season, simply because they were set up to be the first ones out. While I do think Mimi should get her second chance first because she fought to stay (and did better in the lip-sync), I think Pandora should be right after her. Maybe Mimi for All Stars 6 and Pandora for All Stars 7. Pandora only getting pushed back a season because she clearly gave up as soon as there was teams. Mimi fought as hard as she could to get her team to stay, while Pandora just excepted her fate and did nothing but let the producers do what they did.
Pandora is from my hometown of Rochester NY I remember being so excited when she was cast. I literally still have not watched past episode 1. Chad deserved it hands down, but Pandora deserved so much better
it was very low energy, mimi's wasnt flawless, but it was more entertaining, it was paula abdul, she's bubblegum pop, wasnt exactly a power ballad or something emotional
Latrice and Willam are closer plus they already worked as a team on S4, and Chad and Shannel have known each other and worked together off the show for years
Yara Sofia was one of the best PR Queens hands down who was a triple threat. I really felt she was robbed being paired with Alexis. Cause Alexis knew that she and Yara were good friends but they did not compliment each other. Each of them were so strong in their singular respective lanes. Even Lineysha was hyped up to be just as good as her and now on drag race there are really no PR queens anymore.

Naysha was from chicago, and vangie was from florida. They're rican yes but like nuyorican. The drag culture in PR is different than over in the states, thats why i can appreciate those Queens a lot more. Especially since they were robbed but did so well their season.
honestly i think that the only queen that should've came back from as1 is pandora. not manila and latrice. their elimination on as1 was justified, while pandora's wasn't.
Can we finally get battle of the champions after season 15? Of course there will be 19 queens if they stick to AS5 being that last season and Tyra being banned.
Honestly, I think jujubee really embodied the song in her lipsync against raven, Raven just kinda stood there for most of it where as jujubee made the effort to move around and interact with raven which was what made it emotional in the first place, though I’ll admit- I thought originally when ru said “you leave me no choice-“ she was gonna finish it with “neither of you showed the passion needed to progress further in this competition, now Sache away” But in any case, it was jujus lipsync.
Thankgod Tati was not in this season. She was in one of the untucked and ate Alexis Mateo up with the shade !! Also William was in the show to read a letter game. So dumb. However if she had stayed quiet. She would’ve been invited to all stars 2. Phi phi was asked for all stars 1 but she was arrested so she had to cancel. Which it makes sense why they told William last minute she won’t be needed anymore
I dont like to be mean But id say 80% of the girls look better then ru anyways.... I know thts shady but ru is so full of herself and has really said some horrible things about the community so I dont like her nearly as much as whn i first started watching ru pauls drag race Seriously though Tell me tht violet and pearl and miss fame and mayhem miller and trinity k bonet and sooo many others look better so ru shouldnt be so high up on herself it does come across as cocky the way she acts and thn excludes communities like the trans community and such

Let's be honest, Mimi was also screwed. Mimi Imfurst is genuinely a funny queen who has only gotten better with age, especially now that drag scene isn't so stifled and pageant focused, she is pretty funny and damn talented. I mean she could still be on a later season of All Stars, just like Pandora, but it really felt like Mimi was brought on just so she could go home first. The producers knew full well there was zero chance of Mimi winning.
@prince edits I still stand by what I said, although after 8 months I've heard a lot about Mimi. Many queens agree she IS fucking funny and even buy jokes from her, but she can be a nightmare to work with.
The “competing in teams” was a great idea in theory, but I do agree with Derrick Barry - it’s very disrespectful to Chad Michaels as much as anything. Perhaps in hindsight, a better solution would have been Ru naming a top 2 and bottom 3, with the lip sync winner of the top 2 saving one of the bottom 3 and 2 went home every week.
I have always thought Manila was really mistreated on all stars one first of all both of the times Latrila were in the bottom it was because of latrice and I think that both of the times they were in the bottom maybe they shouldn’t have been there. Maybe I am a bit bios because I love Manila but like she was mistreated!
No offence but Raven and Jujubee’s lip sync was complete bs. If you remember back in Season 3 when Yara went against Alexis for a top three spot, she broke down, and went home because they were both friends. Here? A double shantay? It really shows the favouritism and catering to fans when paralleled. Sure they were different situations as Alexis actually lip synced but still show similarities. In my opinion Juju should have stayed and Raven gone home, because at least she actually moved her mouth and moved around unlike Raven.
Ok but why on earth did they not put willam on all stars. He would've fucking demolished the competition if he didn't get disqualified on his season, and he would've demolished the all stars season too...
Tbh. Mimi wasn’t bad in the Lip Sync. She did fine in the first Lip Sync. She should’ve at least got a little more praise instead of flatly. “Horrible” I also agree with u on the Raven and Jujubee Lip Sync.
In my own opinion, the one person that makes AS1 not count is RuPaul himself. Bringing back AS1 contestants, to me, it means that AS1 wasn't fair and Chad's win was thanks to screwing over the queens and not cause of her talent.
I truly think that this could've worked a bit better if they eliminated 2 queens per episode with all the queens working by themselves, having a bottom 3 lip sync. Wouldve been at least a crazier season
mistreatment is not ok that's why you can't be humble if you are being mistreated. You have to fight your enemies and not allow them to continue mistreating you
