The High Heat series was my preferred baseball game back in the early 2000s, so glad to see it getting some love. Missing those days when sports gamers actually had choices as consumers.
Bonds didn't really disapear from official baseball videogames until after the 03 season. Him being absent starting in 04 makes sense. The strangest thing for me is to see players like Brian Dabauch, Shane Spencer, Kevin Millar, Frank Menechino, and Cory Lidle actually appear in games.
Got this game as a 'make-up' present in May 2003 after I threw a shit fit during my sister's birthday party. Hindsight has not been kind to it, but I played the hell out of it. Shannon Stewart and the Jays for life!
This game could be played in 15 min bec of the lack of animations - and that was a good thing because the animations didnt slow down the gameplay. The gameplay was the best at the time.
