This Gc segment was just incredible haha! He killed that and while enjoying a vacation, gotta love it. Always my favorite part of the shows so I was glad to see it.

Except that his English is horrible but he tries to pretend he's American, its hard to listen to, I would be really happy if I saw his English improve but I don't think it'll happen, hopefully I'm wrong though.
Sorry but as a sportsfan, I still find it weird when pro-wrestlers talk about them being champ as if they actually won it by sporting ability, especially in interviews like this.......
I had valentina easily winning 2nd when I watched it live. I’ve been listening to Luke Thomas and he’s been saying exactly what happened in 2nd. Taking someone down and not inflicting damage IS loosing if the fighter taken down inflicts damage. Which is exactly what happened. Not like ”stop the fight damage”. But damage never the less.

I lied. I'm back. I can only stay away for an hour. I'm so interested in what you're going to say. Love your opinion. Love the show. Love the content. Everybody that works on the show. All the hard work. You guys rock. I watch every freaking episode. I had to calm down after I hear that screeching old lady impersonation but I'm back and I'm smiling. Let's rock MMA hour for life
@@ingaleerus6387 My whole life people have been intimidated, scared or offended by my awesome energy . You ever met somebody? Just once that you'll never forget. It's usually a really good awesome person. Or an a****** like you. Love me or hate me but she'll never forget me. By the way, I hope you stub your toe today. 😂
One thing I really like about Jiri is he rarely deliver excessive damage. He didn’t follow up on either Volkan or Reyes. And he clearly let go of the sub before the judge stopped him. Look at his Rizin fights and you see the same. That shows his talk of samuari spirit and whatever isn’t just talk and something fake.
Agreed! Unlike Khamzat who full body weight elbows or punches opponents when out cold! 2 different types of animal.. one showing you can also do it with respect for your opponent
The whiny voice actually suits Ariel perfectly than his normal voice and someone tell him his voice is already whiny and annoying enough he doesn’t have to change
This dude could only wish to be Colby Covington. Their fight styles are far from alike if that's wt you saying but I'm sure you think they are bc you watch Big John and Josh so you think wt ever they say instead of wt you really see. Because if you would really watch you would see that whether you hate Colby or not Colby fight style is far from just Khabibhumpin his opponent to victory. This dude don't even throw strikes while standing. Colby throws more strikes in one fight than Khabib and Islam did in their careers put together but some people let their feelings get in the way of wt you really seeing.
Can we replace Ariel's voice with Anthony Smith's voice? Like keep his interview skills and face(if you have to),but just replace that voice with Lionheart's voice
I truly and utterly hope the fighers and their trainers (and the UFC) really takes the time to understand the rules when it comes to wrestling and control. Hearing Taila say she believes she won the 2nd and 3rd round because of control is sad to me. She landed 4 strikes in 2nd and 7 in the 3rd. granted she had sub attempts in 3rd so maybe you can give her that one. But the 2nd round is clear as day to me. The judges are asked to FIRST judge damage inflicted and even if the position generally was to Tailas favor (having the back) she wasn't inflicting ANY damage whereas Valentina was hitting her flush in the face (not saying it was going to end the fight but it was damage). All fighters and especially trainers neeed to understand the latest changes to the judging. Because I can't really see how anyone was going to score this fight for Taila if they followed the current rules. I recommend anyone who disagrees with me to listen to Luke Thomas talk about this. It really isn't controversial...
@@thewretch4081 she did lol. I was upset at first cause I had money on Holm and was so used to the old criteria. Knowing the finally reward damage more is a breathe of fresh air
When are u going to have Mcgregor on again ..he has not been on you show in a bit .. like his on his comeback and has not really showed his hand on anything . Any chance u could get a interview see how things are going training and how the leg is and when his coming back it would be good
Everyone is saying Danny is a wish version of Colby, but i dig him man, I like it, feels more authentic than Colby who’s schtick annoys me slightly cos of who he goes after, least Danny just calls his opponents names haha
Bad take on Nate at 170. He's not been competitive at 170 vs any 170'ers. Rory, Stungun, Leon, Masvidal all dominated him. He has only done well vs 155'ers there like Conor and Pettis. 155 is the division where he actually does his best work and sniffed a title shot.
tbh kayla harrison always seems to be on. ive never watched one of em,cant stand her...and i was gutted monday as i wanted a fighter from ufc 275... still, its my favourite show and i always look forward to it. esp gc's segment(i watch it every episode without fail)
Luke Thomas did cite the mma hour and Ariel at the start his recent video on fighter unions and Tim Kennedy. So how does a question about that not being the case make it through? Are we just taking "fans of the show" at face value?
Taila is so impressive! The scoring so favours striking though so she'll need to get the sub. I hope 'damage' didn't score from that fat ole headbut/clash to affect the result.
...bro... the majority of those "significant strikes" were when Santos had Valentina's back going for the choke... Valentina's best strike was a headbutt which is against the rules and shouldn't even count... the headbutt broke Santos's orbital which means she couldn't see from one side and you can tell Valentina was spaming Santos's blind side. Lastly the strikes landed while Santos had her back wouldn't have done much damage without the broken orbital from the headbutt. Stats are cool but actually knowing what stats mean and the situations that show to their *validity* is even better...
Imo I think Santos fell victim to the same thing Dominic Reyes did against Jones. If the champ wins the last 2 rounds they keep the title. Wonder if that will ever change in the future...
Can someone from Czech Republic plz explain what Jiri means when he says he smoked cigarettes after victory? Is he referring to actual cigarettes with tobacco or marijuana ? Just curious He’s gotta be smoking marijuana right? Love Jiri Congrats champ May you reign long & stay healthy
