Yes, definitely. I haven't seen many Sword and Shield mods but Crowned Sword and Armored Shield is one that looks really cool. Something I really like about it is how it allows you to explore the Crown Tundra before becoming Champion (something you can't really do in Sword and Shield). I would love for ItsRJ to make a video on it so it can get more exposure.

I dunno... If the game as it was was missing things and made easier so those missing parts didn't make it difficult... Then adding back the missing pieces and increasing the difficulty is "fixing" it. It's kind of like saying that repairing a car that was overheating at high speed isn't "fixing" it, because you could have just driven it at lower speeds. If you couldn't make use of the whole experience before, then you CAN afterwards, then you're fixing it, even if it's not actually harder.

​​@@HappyNBoyThing is, most of the stuff added in this mod is less "missing stuff that should have been in the game" and more "this is cool so I'm adding it to my mod" Besides the National Dex addition legit being a fix, the performance of the game is still atrocious for example. Or the graphics.

@@HappyNBoy Come on now. Violet/Scarlet are some of the most famously broken games. Calling this a mod which 'fixes' the game would clearly set people up to expect fixes to the famously bad performance, graphics etc.

I think what actually happened is that they added all the DLC mons. I had my doubts since SV uses different character models and more complex animations compared to old games, so it would be a lot harder to add Pokémon than in BDSP.

Excellent Mod! I've been playing with it the past month and it's so much more fun than the game was originally. I kinda bounced off violet when I first played it last year... A little too slow for not as much reward, variety and challenge. I didn't really have time for it. Coming back to it this summer with it modded, it's more like the experience I had playing Pokémon 25 years ago as a kid, where I'm actually surprised and scrambling from time to time, instead of stomping every trainer and gym without thinking about it. It's not like it's a harder game, really, but it's not like I'm playing on baby mode anymore. Something like this should be a standard option from Gamefreak going forward. Out of the gate, too. I don't want to have to play 60 hours on easy mode just to come back and play the game again the fun way.

​​@@HappyNBoyThe thing is back then you were a kid but if you were to play those games you played as a kid now you will have the same experience playing that as you do a modern game. I'm sure kids playing this find it hard especially the indigo disk dlc which has Competitive trainers that make even adults struggle. .

You can’t really fix those without entirely decompiling the game. Also saying that sword and shield animations were good is some insane cope, most of them don’t even have any animation and just move the model of the mon around with some effects

@@lara3780 it’s not trying to “fix” the game, it’s just adding new Pokemon and features that weren’t in the vanilla game (national dex, new hidden abilities, etc)

Even then ceruledge is a ghost type isn’t it, therefore immune to fighting (I haven’t gotten to use one so idk the typing, it might be pure fire)

@@ItsRJ_YT Bit late to the party here, but it's because we gave the Caph-mobile the Scrappy ability to get around Ghost types.
