First and foremost a big thank you for making B9/B9.5 content, not many people out there doing that. With that out of the way though, I'd encourage everyone to do your own research on these Diverter valves. A LOT of people will not run them and stick with OEM. If you grab this and enjoy the way the car feels and you don't have any issues or codes, great. You'd be FAR from alone if you install this and have issues though. Kinda one of the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" scenarios IMO. It might make some cool noises and "feel" faster but at the end of the day this is a bit of a gimmick mod IMO, much like pedal commanders and stuff like that.
@@StreetDrip I recently got a stage 1 tune (APR) and after the tune I was getting recurring CEL’s from the spacer. Honestly shouldn’t be sold. Does nothing good for the car make a sound and in fact hinders the performance. Will report back after I get the GFB. Should have it by Monday 🙌🏽🙌🏽💥.
@@StreetDrip after driving with it for a little, my car keeps throwing a "drive system malfunction" code and i loose power. (boost wont fully build) Was wondering if you experienced anything like that, if i turned the car on and off it's be okay again but recently I got a check engine light, read the code, and it says it's a turbocharger bypass valve performance issue. Which leaves me to think the issue is coming from the blowoff valve. A lot to read ik, let me know if you experienced anything similar.
@@quietS5any update might Be boost leak I have the same issue but I'm running the stock DV only difference is I get a turbo waste gate sticker closed code but the waste gate is opening and closing properly when I visually monitor it
Love the car! I actually live in Orlando too and have a 2023 S5! I wanted to start my journey on doing mods for it! Wanted to see what you would recommended starting with? Am I able to do the stage 2 tune first or would I need to do something before? What would you say would be the loudest exhaust set up?
Thanks. Nice we have to get together some time. That's a tough question it depends on what you're looking for. For appearance it's lower and tints. For the power it would be stage 1, intake, downpipe. The loudest would be AWE or Milltek
After a month or so of running this i have been getting drive system malfunctions, the code that came up was turbocharger underboost. I reinstalled stock and it fixed the problem and code. I contacted gfb and they are sending me a new cord to see if it fixes it. Have you encountered this?
