My informal look at the Modern Music Easel: what's new and why. (Skip to 3:23 if you want to skip my introductory improv). As I was waiting for an opportunity to make a quality video going over the new case and the EMBIO, I grew impatient and just threw the iPhone up and strung together these videos. I hope it's informative and entertaining.

By the way, I do know the difference between squares and rectangles . . . and obviously this case isn't a square.(Maybe pulse width modulated squares should be "rectangle" waves?) I think you all understood I was just making the point that it has 90 degree corners which allows the overall dimensions to be skinny enough for travel and still maximize space. And BTW the case body is US made and made of a very strong HMPE (High Molecular Polyethylene), not ABS. When I'm unscripted sometimes my mouth gets ahead of my brain.

Hi Joel, can you tell me why the MO frequency and modulation sliders were switched back in 2013? I really appreciate your nod to that by making the seq available to the MO again on the 208c.

Don realized he made a mistake in the order and changed it. The instrument UI control flows like a schematic from left to right. It makes more sense to deal with the pitch first just like the Complex and then it's output to the Complex that it modulates. It's possible Don liked the mod osc connection with a shorting bar?, but that 1973 order was odd. And against objections from BEMI to make any changes, Don felt it was important enough to re-order it.
