What Happened to the video clip of Cameron spinning around in the living room as he tries to teach Lily something about maintaining one's balance. And, Mitchell says "how fabulous would it be if you turned into Wonder Woman right now?" And, without missing a beat, Cameron replies sarcastically, "I can't even think about it." (meaning that it is the ONLY thing that he's thinking about at that moment.) That was the BEST Cameron scene in my opinion. I can't believe it was taken off of RU-vid. :-(
What happened to the episodes with 1) the Leap Year birthday party? 2) Cam singing "This is how we learn to sing"? 3) Pepper hiding and Lily saying "Daddies, there's a man in the bathroom" and Cam telling Ronaldo "That's a song. Daddies there's a man in the bathroom, taking a shower..." I love it when Cam sings. Cam is awesome! Cam rocks!
cam is me if i was unapologetic and fabulous. but i’m mitch, slightly too catty, the rigid motherly one, a little too thin for my liking, and i use smart remarks to poorly cover my disdain for things 😂
I love Cam, no matter what. I don't like people who DON'T show emotion. I'll take over-the-top any day, and I wish Lily showed emotion more. *I know it's probably for cultural reasons that Lily is stoic but I wish EVERYONE (regardless of age, ethnicity, etc.) wore their hearts on their sleeves* like Cam does. Even when I was a kid I was unimpressed with people who didn't wear their hearts on their sleeves. I am now 50 so obviously I am temperamentally inclined to wear my heart on my sleeve no matter how old I am. And I admire others who are the same way. Let it out! Show your emotions! Once more with intense feeling! Yes, Cam is awesome and totally rocks!
@Freak Show absolutely!! Like every character plays their part so constantly and to me, they’re styles never get old. You hit it on the head with that comment.
Stop being so surprised.... Not all gay men act or are like this at all. Stop seeing us as some girly versions of men because that is only how straight people see and portray us.
@@ahsuniverseslays I have quite a number of gay, lesbian and also bisexual friends as it happens, so no need to lecture me or react this sensitive! I was just responding to an actor portraying a gay man on a popular US comedy show, which is a very smart caricature of homosexuality that plays with this 'diva' stereotype on purpose. Anyhow, since Cameron Tucker is a wonderfully original combination of "girly " meets football coach meets farm boy meets clown , I don't see that you have much of a reason to call the character a reinforcement of cliché-ridden thinking.
@@NiVi192 A mostly feminine gay male character with a few masculine traits? That is like making a mostly maculine gay female character with a few feminine traits. It's totally a reinforcement of cliche-ridden thinking, and the weird clown obsession is just a part of being human.
On a visit to my grandma, she tried to put me on a diet (no animal products, no fat, no sodium that doesn't come from seaweed, no refined grains, etc.) and I'm a recovering anorexic. This was me emotionally except I was hoarding fruit is my sewing basket and under pillows and stealing oil and salt when she wasn't looking. She eventually kicked me out because she found a pan with traces of oil in it that I'd cooked in while she'd been out.
« You know what I think, you should worry less about me and little more about yourself and what you gonna wear tomorrow night because I saw what you have lay out and I don’t think you gonna like the way you look in photos. » savage!
I'm saying this as a gay man: if Cam was just a tiny bit more girly I would dislike the the character and dismiss Cam as another cliche stereotype. It's probably a precarious tightrope to walk for a straight actor. Cam is larger than life, and has to be the glitter to Mitch's paperclips (didn't want to use that old yin and yang comparison there). Cam makes me laugh; he's a funny character but he isn't offensive. I know guys like him. I'm more of a Mitch type: generally mellow, but at times borderline catty, LOL. And to the people who hate the show I would ask, is the funny stuff too rapid-fire for your taste? Or do you miss the old studio audience laughter that's becoming extinct? 😃
I think they do a great balance on not making him too “girly” as you said. He definitely is the glitter to Mitchell but they do show is tougher side with his coaching football, loving sports, getting in fights etc.
but, then again, how many girly gay guys dont you see in other tv- programs? those who sell wedding-dresses, or hairdressers, just for example. Its always the girliest girly gay-guys youll ever find🤗or maybe theyre just actors...
Emily W yeah don’t be offensive because even though science and logic says that if I want to be call ninja I can be a ninja hahaha (sarcasm) you cant change your gender , ethnicity, or your organs that the way you were born you can’t demand people changing what’s normal and what’s obvious.👍
Lady of Darkness So am I They are both adorable I cant help laughing watching this episode hundreds of time they are soo cute 😊 I have no appropriate words for these episode to describe my Delight
Don't get me wrong, Cam walking into the glass door twice is really funny on its own, but Claire's laugh makes it 10 times more hilarious (clip starts at 6:13 for anyone wanting to replay it 20 times like me) 😂
Cam is soooo funny that I laugh when he cries. Only Cam can make crying look & sound hilarious. I love how emotional he gets. He & Ron Weasley (oops, sorry, off topic) are my fave "heart-on-sleeve" men. You go, Cam!
The one episode, when Cam and Gloria had a fight about the sauce business, when Cam designed the container of the sauce with his face on the middle, and then Gloria was just a sketch little icon on the side 😂 Then Gloria sued Cam for taking over her grandmas sauce recipe and overall business, and Cam was broken. (Fast forward) I totally died when Mitchell told that Cams old boyfriend told him that Cam is a very nice person unless you leave him. And Mitch was like, does he come jealous, sad, evil, or depressed? ( couldn’t remember those ^ ) and he was like yes. ( so cam comes all of those if you didn’t understand) And back to the sauce drama at Jays garage, Cam said ; I brought this sauce to the markets! I made it famous! _silence and gloria looking at cam madly_ Cam : Unless... you have someone else! somebody *cOluMbiAn* ?! lmao the way that Cam said columbian 🤣 That’s my favourite line by Cameron Tucker/nowadays Pritchett.
I love Cam, period, but the best parts are 1) The Leap Year birthday party. 2) Regarding something Lily said: "Daddies, there's a man in the bathroom" is a song, Pepper. Ronaldo is not here! 3) When he played a scale and sang "This is how we learn to sing" (I know, that's not a fancy song, it's just a vocal exercise, but he sang it beautifully). Yes, Cam is so sweet and funny and smart.
Love it! That would be great, but they are all such great supporting actors/actresses that's what holds the comedy together; each character feeding off of the other's energy. Great show, another underrated sit-com was Arrested Development.
The show is amazing but i feel like a person like cam in real life would be extremely irritating to be around. Mitchell seems like a person who'd be a fun savage friend.
I can relate to when he bumped his head and hulk ripped the cabinet door off. I’m yet to do that but I do know it’s the littlest things that push us over the edge
People in Missouri DO say Missoura. It’s very unfortunate. I lived there for under and graduate school. The ones who said Missoura also believed camouflage was a color.
