The Mom Who Fell in Love With Her SON 

Apparently, she put him up for adoption and he looked her up later, then fell in love. Regards if she raised him or not, she is his biological mother.

This “mother” didn’t raise her child and when she reunited w him she did the most despicable thing she could do. He was probably longing for a connection w the woman who birthed him but didn’t raise him. And she victimized him all over again by doing this gross sh*t! She’s a predator and a danger

I'm a 41 year old mom of six kids and if my son came up to me and told me that he was falling in love with me, I would thank him for being honest and then GET HIM SOME PSYCHIATRIC HELP!

I genuinely believe she groomed her son and emotionally abused/manipulated him into a trauma bond type of relationship. Everything she talked about was about herself, her own needs and her own wants. Like she’s using her son to fill a void 🤢

Idk why but the part that bothered me most was her continuously saying "I'm not incest." The grammar and her just completely ignoring the fact that her relationship is incestuous.

It's a phenomenon called Genetic Sexual Attraction and occurs when a child who was adopted, then is reunited with the biological family, experiences attraction to someone in the family - usually a parent. It isn't always mutual either. It is a bit more common than we would like to think. Awhile back there was an 18 year old girl who felt it with her father and vice versa. He had an "affair" with her, left her mother and their other kids and got her pregnant. She had his baby and when they got in trouble, she left. The father was obsessed. He grasped she wasnt coming back so he picked up their baby son, who was in the custody of his mother, killed him and then drove hours to where his daughter was and shot her and her adopted father. She died. The father then killed himself. The craziest part is she knew the reason she was adopted - the mother was afraid for her safety because the father abused her when she was an infant. The mother felt trapped so she gave her up. Then they reconnected and...yeeeah.

We live in a depraved world 🤢 I have a son, but I love him as a son. I love my husband as my man.

There’s a biological father and daughter here in New Zealand, who reunited as adults…she actually ended up leaving her husband for him. She even has her children (from her first marriage) living with them in the same house. Her mother ended up calling the authorities on them and he got charged with incest although he didn’t receive any punishment. They appeared in a documentary together and I was just like FML out of all the people on earth?!? They were really trying to sell people on it like this is beautiful why can’t people accept us?!? There was another case in Australia with a father and daughter who had a very similar story but they actually had a few children together. No no no just no.

I do not feel bad for this women, she is disgusting and should be in prison. She just said the other mums don't understand what she's going through! NO YOU SICKO, how is she playing the victim!.

I think this was the lady that gave her son up for adoption and he showed up when he turned 19 and they ended up falling in love. And she was told she needed to chose him or her other kids and she chose him. Could you imagine your mom choosing a relationship with your sibling over the rest of you. I couldn't imagine any of this crap. And she wants sympathy which she hasn't gotten.

This is a fine example of people who don't understand that there is a difference between loving someone dear or important to you (example: your friends and family) and *being* in love with someone (example: your significant other or your spouse).

This happened out by where i used to live. The mom was arrested and was told she couldn't be near her son. He dated a friend of mine for a bit, but was very focused on his mom, though. They ended up getting back together, and got arrested again. Everyone knows Everyone there. Everyone is in everyone's business. It's right next to the Texas border. I'm surprised she only got jumped once.

Unfortunately this happens much more then we'd like to admit, there was this case where the daughter reunited with the parents. Her dad groomed and got her pregnant, after that he killed her and the baby. And killed himself.

I studied child growth and development and human sexuality in college. If this is the case where a mother gave up her baby and they met when he was an adult, it does make some sense. Sometimes when relatives meet as adults, they may feel an initial attraction based on the feeling of a natural sense of closeness, commonalities and a sense of belonging ect Even regular couples end up married to pp who look similar. But although this sometimes happens, it s usually temporary. Most pp take the time , or go for therapy and figure out why it s happening . Most are not comfortable acting out their initial response. Since it s likely temporary( like honeymoon stage) it s not usual for the attraction to be acted on and the nature of their true connection is what can develop Understanding why those feelings overtook their emotions , is the step where the lights should go on. Really atypical for a relationship like this would last This feeling should wear off and hopefully develop into the genuine connection that child was born into. The mother and son love

It’s apparently really common that when kids who are put up for adoption and find their parents later in life for some reason they’re more likely to fall in love/have an intimate relationship together. I’ve seen so many videos about it- i think it’s because by the time they meet they’re essentially strangers. They don’t have that parent/child bond one would get when being raised by your parents. But idk that’s just what I think based off all the videos I’ve seen about it

I read somewhere that there is up to a 50% chance of this occuring in situations where reletives meet for the first time as adults! Apparently it has something to do with similar genetics and the chemicals that prevent this from happening are put in place during the rearing or "habitation" phase.
