This was a once in a lifetime moment. Bayer Leverkusen giving football, hope. This is why we must all protest against the Super League. You lose the beautiful game's special moments. With top leagues constantly dominated by the best, this was a breath of fresh air. Congratulations & enjoy the DEUTSCHER MEISTER 🏆
@@timv.8974 the atmosphere was more intense than this when liverpool won the CL and the premier league. Even when city won the PL in 2012 to beat man utd by goal difference was more electrifying. Heck even when arsenal beat tottenham away and won the league was more intense too
To all new Bundesliga watchers, Leverkusen is not a small team. They are top 4. They were in bad form when Alonso took over. They lost title on last day to Bayern in 2002 and Champions league to Real Madrid in final in SAME season when they had legendary upcoming players like Ballack, Lucio, Zee Roberto and Berbatov. They were tagged as Neverkusen(means never a title) by missing it many times. They are like Spurs of Germany but made it this time ;)
@@slowedversion6393 no need for your comment as this was aimed at the NEW followers/fans of the Bundesliga, not those who are aware of German football.
No, Leverkusen wasnt top 4 past few years ago. And Leverkusen is still the damn Club who cooperates with Monsanto and the Pharma industry. So yeah, maybe you have tradition. But you have no values.
Important comment imo, because people compare it to the Leicester story, which is not comparable at all. Leverkusen played in europe almost every season for the last 20 years. They just had a bad run before xabi alonso took over, but the squad was already strong. The exceptional part is how he made them this successful. But it's really more of a Tottenham story (with a happy end) than a Leicester story
I've lived this last year with Napoli winning the 3rd scudetto after 33 years. It's what's football's all about, fairytales, drama and passion. When I saw the celebrations so many memories came back to me. From Napoli to Leverkusen, congratulations 💙
I am an Arsenal fan and we probably won't win the league. But 43 games unbeaten for Leverkusen is truly remarkable giving us hope this is why I love football❤. Anything can happen in the beautiful game of football so congrats Leverkusen for winning your first Bundesliga and ending Bayern's streak. I will never stop supporting my club as well
You won't. We will. We always do. We will win the treble again because we always find a way. We never gave up when others teams were leading and we always find a way to come back. MCFC, OK
@@drty8765-ef1fdYou or Liverpool probably have to do something like this to beat city. Otherwise they're gonna be champion for a long time just like bayern.
Just came home from the stadium. This was really a once in a lifetime game. I still cannot believe that the club I supported for my entire life just crowned themselves champions. A day I will remember for the rest of my life 🖤♥️
2 observations: (1) these are the most disciplined fans ever; diligently going back off the pitch after the 4th goal because they knew the match could get suspended if they stayed (try to convince British fans of this, good luck) (2) this team, if they can keep it together with Alonso, will be a serious contender for the Champions League next season.
@@acholnai9358 like leicester city 🤣🤣 now playing in the championsip... dont be that greedy, if madrid or city play with this leverkusen youll see the reality, stay humble my man, its not 1 year thing, they need to keep this pace for a couple of years
Leverkusen are playing some of the best football in Europe right now. They seem to have built a perfectly balanced team, and play an incredibly disciplined game, both in attack, build up and defence. I'm a Bayern fan, but I can only congratulate them on an achievement like this. Hopefully they clinch the Europa League too.
Congrats to Leverkusen from a Man United fan! Well deserved and absolute crazy scenes!! Watching with goosebumps the entire time, almost made me tear up.
This is the moments for Leverkusen fans around the world with no losing a single match much respect to Alonso what an incredible team he make.. greetings from India ❤.
As a lifelong Chelsea fan whos had to watch my club be dragged through the mud for 2 years, this Leverkusen has really helped me recapture some of those feelings as to why I love the sport. Such passion
this is a legendary moment! congratulates a Bayer fan from the city of Taganrog. We also have a team with red and black colors. It's very nice to see this after the 5th league in Russia.
The next big thing? He is already the player with the seventh highest market value in the world. 110 Million Euro and after this season his market value will rise again.
Well done from a Leicester fan, we and you are football not the ultra rich super clubs that want a super league to deny events like this and our miracle.
Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that Bayer 04 Leverkusen is the sports club of the multinational pharmaceutical and chemical giant Bayer AG (based in Leverkusen). The club is not poor; in addition to the normal income, the professional football department of the SV Bayer 04 club receives an estimated €100 million in support each year.
@@ruhri0411we get 20 million from bayer a year. Thats not much...we have a small Stadion...other Clubs with a bigger Stadion make much more a year with it
I am bayer leverkusen lad and my friend ist Leicester lad 5 years ago, in Australia we talked about football and he told me how incredible it was to be on the field after they won the league and i told him since 20 years it was all my dream to win the league and 3 days ago I have been in the stadium and had my most beautiful day ever Next day we talked about our conversation in Australia and it's beautiful how emotional football can be
I just realized that i havent talked about bayer going unbeaten with my mates and im a liverpool fan. The problem with us football fans is that we focus too much on one league and we just never realized what's different and whats better in other leagues around the world. Congrats to xabi and leverkusen for making a memory that we will never forget. :D
I'm English and support my hometown team Wolves but I also keep an eye the other top euro leagues, you just need to check the scores and the table each week that's it and then if there's one that's a surprise outfit that's doing really well that's when i'll start watching their games, Napoli last season, Leverkusen this season, I watch all their games now. What you said though is true for others who just watch the prem, they say the prem is the best but they've never watched or have any interest in the other leagues
Thank you for the great video.... unfortunately I wasn't at the stadium yesterday but watched the game in a bar and later celebrated in the city until midnight... I still get goosebumps when I see the pictures. Thank you 🏴🚩🏴🚩🏴🚩🥇
FairPlay? Hahaha. Do you know like every club in Germany had problems during Corona monetary collapse? Leverkusen didn‘t because Bayer (the concern) solved money problems. Like they do every year. Leverkusen has unlimited money, a clever coach who can easily play football manager and create a team like he needs. This is obviously not fairplay. It‘s just like a small PSG. In germany it‘s not usual that a concern can blow money into a team like in england or anywhere else. We have 50+1 rule that normally forbids constructs like Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg and Leipzig. This champion title is a shame for german football rules.
Football is an amazing sport to support I'm a Chelsea fan but it is nice to see another team win the bundesliga like Bayern Leverkusen instead of Bayern Munich well done Bayer Leverkusen and what a run thank you thogden for the amazing content you work hard for us to watch keep up the great work and I also like when you do videos with thogdad kind regards Michael Button
Incredible that no one could predict the correct score, even the most optimistic guy fell short by 1 goal. Great team, astonishing manager, terrific achievement. From a BVB fan, congrats on a well-deserved championship.
Okay you r not the only one who is getting tears. This is the beauty of football an absolute beauty. Thogden you r so lucky that you have witnessed such an once in a lifetime moment ❤
@@drty8765-ef1fd I grew up here and lived here my whole life. So probably, yeah. Just not really into football overall so not sure you can call me a big fan^^
I became a fan as a kid in the 2001/2002 season and stayed loyal forever. I was on the first row at the Nordkurve and now when I watched this video I just started crying. Thanks for making this special video 🖤❤
I am a fan of Bayer 04 for over 40 years now. I´ve been in the arena on sunday, too. I celebrated the match, the victory and the championship with the other loyal fans in the "Nordkurve". After all these years there, this have been overwhelming moments. So many emotions. I still can´t watch your stadium vlog without getting tears in my eyes. Thanks for it!
Bro thanks for sharing this incredible atmosphere! Just watched the usual highlights before but with your video I got back all the chills and feels for this lovely game. I'm a Dortmund supporter but Leverkusen this season really really deserved it...absolutely fantastic team, with passion and '100% Teamgeist" plus a great manager. This is football, with it's emotions and passion. Big thanks and GZ an Kusen!
One year ago I waited for the same scenes in Dortmund... Unfortunately. But this Leverkusen celebration made me smile too :) Congratulations from BVB fan! NEVERkusen 🎉
MEISTERkusen :) Also big congrats from a VfB Fan. I am so close to flying back home from LA to see Stuttgart's last game clinching the Champions League and have a similar moment... :D
Leverkusen congratulations ! you are so lucky having Alonso as coach i love him. I'm a Liverpool fan but you lot have put smile on my face and made football great again what a team ..what a coach and fans !
Idk why do I feel immense pleasure and happiness seeing this all scenes as a United Fan Leverkusen Deserves all the glory what a moment I just wish they could stay undefeated and win it all and end the season on highest mountains

A couple of things I love about this video. 1. Your narration was absolutely brilliant. You captured the heart and happiness of the people around you. Your voice also gave the true feeling of a fan at the moment. Brought me to tears. 2. People of all ages in this video who witnessed their team become champion for the first time was truly a special moment to capture in video Long live football, and long live the NEW Kings of German football.
Your Energy is infectious! thank you for doing the moment proud and helping us share the moment with these incredible people! feels like i was there. My new favourite team (2nd Team)
Thank you for the moment bro. Congratulations to team player Leverkusen & fans. Proud for the first time win league. Congratulations again. Btw I’m from Malaysia. 🇲🇾👏🏻
I'm curious if people from England just realise how crazy good Leverkusen is this Season. Unfortunately they can't play against those big Prem teams in the CL this season. For sure they are at the same level like ManCity, Liverpool and Arsenal in the moment.
I didn't expecting NOTHING ELSE from one of our TOP LEGENDS - Xabi Alonso!!! After STEVEN GERRARD, Xabi was the No2 ULTIMATE player in LIVERPOOL FC!!! He was a TOP WORLD CLASS player... he is from a FOOTBALL family (his father also great player AND manager)... and I was TOTALLY SURE when Xabi will be manager to a club, he'll transform that club to AN ULTIMATE POWER - and he did it, with Bayer Leverkusen!!! WELL DONE, XABI!!! Cheers from LIVERPOOL FC!
Bro I’ve been a fan since 00/01 season Raised in Germany Frankfurt And of course when it was time to choose a favourite team at that time they did well too with Ballack, Lucio, Ze Roberto And I’m still a fan even though i live in Canada since 2014 A dream has come true And yes i totally agree, always believe in your team and be loyal.Soon or later it’s going to pay off.I’m glad you visited BayArena ❤ God bless 🙏🏻
