The thing that Bayern was missing is intensity. With the international break, cup, league, and CL... Most of these guys have played every 3 odd days for 3 weeks. They'll be back at full fitness soon. The difference in quality between these two sides is massive, and it showed. Not a single Barcelona player would break into that Bayern team. Maybe F.De Jong and Pedri in rotation with Kimmich and Goretzka but deffo not guaranteed starters by any stretch of the imagination.

Great performance from Bayern but it’s sad to see what’s going on in Barcelona. Im with you Thogden, they will need years to recover and win something again in Spain or Europe.

Bayern didn’t perform too good in the beginning as Barca started off with 5 men Defence (which is incredible if you think of Barcelona under pep for example) then all Bayern did was the necessary stuff to win and spare their resources at the same time. Of course Bayern can win the CL, they have the IQ, the experience and the Special Players (lewy, Musiala, Sane, gnabry, …) to make the difference. Expensive young teams like city or psg do give themselves hard times as you can see with ManU against Bern… However this CL Season is gonna be different especially with the fans back in the stadium!

I think there are quite a few teams who can win the Champions League and Bayern is definitely one of them. I wasn’t their best performance despite this they won easily against a dead Barcelona team. For me Bayern, City, PSG, Liverpool and Chelsea are the top favorites

Travelled across germany to leipzig + International break + midweek game in the pokal and on top of that a 1 day delayed flight left very little time to rest for bayern before the matchup. Give them more rest and the result would be much more devastating.
