As a groundhopper from the netherlands I always love to watch your vids and see what you think of the different clubs and their fans. I really would recommend you to visit some Belgium stadiums as well. There are some great clubs and sick atmospheres! Hope to see you visiting more and more clubs in the future

The anthem they played in the beginning is called "De Âlde Friezen" (the old Frisians) and it's the regional anthem of Friesland province, it's fully sung in Frisian, which is the local language of the area. SC Heerenveen takes pride in its Frisian identity, their kits even reflect the Frisian flag. SC Heerenveen is not just the club of the town it's located in, but the club of basically the entirety of Friesland (except Leeuwarden). This is also why their stadium is so big compared to the size of the town

Such a great journey it has been, as a Dutch football fan, it has been a joy to watch all the reactions to the stadiums and fans!

If you want to visit more stadiums in the Netherlands, it might be fun to go to the stadiums of NAC Breda, Willem II and Roda JC and maybe try to visit De Graafschap again ;) These clubs have Eredivisie worthy stadiums and certainly NAC Breda, Willem II and De Graafschap have very good fans.

Crazy that I can see myself in this video! I wish I had seen you, would have definitely shared some history about my club! The club is the only Frisian club in the Eredivisie and for that reason people from all over the province of Friesland come to the games in Heerenveen. The anthem you heard at the start is the anthem of Friesland which is also sang in our own language. Oh yeah, the football was absolute dogshit. The game before this was an absolute banger though which ended in 3 - 3 against the 3rd in the league.

The anthem played before every game is the Frisian provincial anthem. And yes, you should do a Dutch ranking video! Although some really good stadiums/atmospheres are still to be found in the current 2nd tier as well (NAC, ADO, Roda, Willem II, Cambuur)

Come to Dordrecht! One of the smallest clubs of the league but this season we are doing good and we will be in the play offs for the Eredivisie. These play offs will be good games for sure. Some big clubs like ADO den haag and FC Groningen will be also playing in these play offs.
