As someone who’s still kinda of new to street fighter (and fighting games in general, plays Ed, and just recently hit gold after a few months of playing. Brian’s little Ed tutorials does wonder for me when it comes to learning the game and Ed in general
This is why brain f is my favorite ed, he plays so technically, and instead of just jumping back into ranked he instantly starts labing, gotta love hiss improvements Edit: yes I’m aware I said brain
It took me awhile to figure this out, but another thing that can help you react to counterhits in addition to the visual, is the audio for the hit will be just a bit different
I've gotten to diamond 1 without labbing but 350 hr grind... I switch to leverless the past 2 months and now I'm feelin the grind and need to consider leveling up my game with these focused lab work 😢 seeing you do it is a great reminder that I need to do it to level up my game 😅
For single hit confirms, where are you primarily looking to convert a hit? (The body for the hit animation, the counter hit notification, the opponents health bar, etc.)
19:40 i dont think you can microwalk there. From a light DR theres no much plus frames to delay a medium, unless you go for another light DR, but at this point you lose alot of damage.
I FINALLY found them. Persona Q - Light The Fire Up In The Night (P3 Side) at 6:50. Max Anarchy OST - Days of Old at 10:30. I'm def gonna use this songs in my vid
Fuck it I got a theory. What if DeeJay was trained by Guile? Think about it… both kf them are charge characters, have slash related projectiles and kick related anti airs. They both have outfits with the main color being green, or had a green outfit at one point. Their projectiles are both kind of a gold color. The same can be said for Jackknife and Flash kick but Flash kick is more green ig. They also both have a move called rolling sobat, no way that’s a coincidence. There’s also relations to DeeJay and Charlie/Nash too. Both DeeJay and Nash can shoot two projectiles at once (Nash has to burn meters to do it but still). On top of that knee shot and knee bazooka are basically the same move and have the same input (Guile also has knee bazooka but it’s a ground normal, not an air one). Nash has a sobat too but it’s called jumping sobat not rolling sobat. Both of them had orange/yellowish outfits at one point. All of them have a forward advancing heavy punch normal, with Guile and Nash having the same move. DeeJays Jus Cool and Nashes Sonic scythe are very similar moves. Both moves are attacks with a low kick, overhead kick and an anti air like kick that also works as a combo extender. In conclusion, there is way too many similarities with all three of these characters to the point that they have to at least know each other in some way.
I don't think the timeline really lines up? It's possible that nash could have been hidden involved in teaching DJ but i don't think there is any proof of that. It's totally possible for deejay since he was looking around for inspiration but I can't see military men like guile or nash taking time to train a random civilian.
