Thank you for all this support on this video!! I just want to clarify something that you guys are saying a lot! A lot of you are talking about Miihi and how her “Nobody” performance solidified her debut and I totally understand where you’re coming from! It was a beautiful performance that showed that she had versatility of cute and mature. That really did solidify her position in the group, but to me, Miihi and Mako were both guaranteed to be in the lineup due to their strong start in part 1, so I felt as if her Cheer Up perfectly showed her unique cuteness, charm and ability!! A similar issue is with Maya. She did really solidify her position with the “Swing Baby” performance, but this video is more of the initial feeling of when we “knew” not solidifying what we knew? I had to choose one moment and I feel like Touch really showed Maya in her element!! Your opinions are all valid though and thank you for supporting the video🥰
I completely agree with your video, even JYP said that Miihi's first performance was flawless. He could literally not give her advice on what to do better. I've never seen that from JYP...
Strongly agree with your choice for Maya. Touch put her on the map and she never left it. Until then I had no real opinion of her but this made her go from "who?" to "MAYA".
Mako has a magic. She knows which member needs a sort of an upward push to get more recognition or to have an opportunity to be on the spotlight. I have seen it in all of Mako's teams. How to use the opportunity depends of course to the member concerned. I adore Mako not only for her performance but also for her leadership. Not selfish. Very empathetic. Very humble. apado gwaenchana - Somi is decently good at singing/dancing/rapping but not exceptionally talented at a specific skill set. Meanwhile Nina has powerhouse vocals that stand out and will help the group.
Nina's audition is the reason I watched the nizi project in the first place! I think that was an important performance for her but she started going downhill until "I'll Be Back", which I think is truly what got her the spot.

Mayuka, damn this dark horse, she definitely gonna slay in the future. felt bad for yuna tho, she's inconsistent in performances, and her diet seems to worsen, you can see from 1st season and last episode. the pressure sure got into her too much. hope her the best in her future.
I think Yuna was really pressure because she started JYP same time as Itzy and Stray Kids and all of them debuted except her. she must be really frustrated. I'm honestly worried for her mental health. I just really hope that JYP didn't debut her cause he has plans for a new korean girl group
I agree with all, but maybe miihi confirmed her spot with 'Nobody' that was THE most best solo performance in this project. And Mako never disappointed in any of her performance she was always in top 5 so no wonder she is leader
A lot of people are saying that Maya's moment was Swing Baby but I totally agree with you, during Touch she impressed JYP a lot, the comments he gave were so positive, and for me it was instant love the moment she performed it. Then Swing Baby was like a confirmation that she was amazing
*Can we have a moment to appreciate Mayuka's hard work and dedication?* She was put om hold during the audtions and barely made it on Tokyo Camp. She was almost invisible in Season 1 before she got ALL 3 CUBES at once in the group mission and made it last minute. For Season 2, she rapidly improved and proved to everyone that she deserved to debut :') *STAN OUR CHAMELEON, MAYUKA* 💚🦎
She is not almost invisible though, I really loved her since her auditions. And there maybe a few ones but her name is included in comments about the participants whose likely to debut. I am really proud of her.
Mayuka was invisible in the first season not until she received 3 cubes at the same time thus earning her a spot to train in korea. No one really expected her to be one of the finalists of the show. Not until her performance of 2pm's Heartbeat which shooked everyone with her rapping skills. She's literally the dark horse of the show. I'm really proud of her
THE TRUTH IS THAT MIIHI, MAKO, RIMA AND MAYA WERE ALREADY JYP'S CHILDREN BEFORE THE FINAL DECISION. The others that were chosen over time and evolution
That's actually so true😂 no one else rapped the way Rima did so, it was her who had to become the main rapper. No one danced like mako, she shined alot, so she had to be a main dancer, and mihii was good and expression, singing, and dancing so.
I'm so sad that Akari didn't make it. That girl's just got such a happy and bright energy when performing that really showed in her DTNA and Make You Happy performances. I know JYP based debuting partly on improvement (ie Ayaka) but considering the amount of health issues she had before the Tokyo camp and before training in korea it's amazing that she managed to get back to where she was before in such a short time period.

Mayuka is literally the most luckiest one. I didn't even know her in season one because of the little screen time. But seriously, if she didn't work hard enough and improved that much than her spot could literally be Akari and Yuna's spot by now.
lol same. i had to had to actively look for mayuka's name while rewatching season 1 since she got lost in the crowd of the other trainees. but after season 2, i ended up liking her; well, i ended up liking basically all of them.
Her dalla dalla performance in season one finale, is the ticket for her for the next round, she got 3 gems in that performance, she finished strong on season 1, and she did the same thing in season 2, plus she is the friendliest member of niziU, she and mako got the highest score from the trainees.
for miihi i think her she def debuting stage is nobody she was strong in s1 but it was nobody that rlly solidified her debut chances for nina i would say her singing ill be back in s1 is her def will debut stage everything else I agree
I originally thought “I’ll be back” for Nina too, probably from my own bias because i love that performance, but I decided against it since Nina had one of the strongest auditions which was extremely memorable and she stood out.
Ayaka’s is true because lets be honest, she definitely made the group because of her amazing personality, her skills are definitely still below trainee level but lets hope she improves!
Arissa I think she will be just like Tzuyu, Tzuyu is amazing at dancing and every performance I can't help but be in awe. Her singing tho...is okay. Tzuyu really shines bright and captures an audience with her dancing and bright personality, I think Ayaka is the same.
Special Twice Tzuyu is a well rounded performer and i feel like she had a stronger foundation. I don’t want to compare them tho so lets just wish Ayaka the best!

I realized her star power was amazing when she did her reading of The Ugly Duckling, because she’s that charismatic, her being good at dancing and signing was a good bonus though
I was kinda shocked when JYP announced only 9 will debut, but after some thought I'm so satisfied by the final line-up (even tho I think Akari could have make it aswell, maybe it's because she began to shine a bit late ? Idk) I agree with all those moment choices but the moment that made me think Miihi will debut was definitely her Nobody performance ! For Nina my first thought was her 2PM I'll be back cover (it's one of the iconic moments in part 1 imo), I didn't think about her audition but it totally makes sense too ! ^-^
I think Akari didn't make it to the final lineup because she's inconsistent or not versatile enough :(( there are times she shined so bright but also times she faded into the background. I like her and also hoped she would make it but I don't think she handles dark concepts well since her strongest point is her cheerful aura.

I think we all knew Nina was going to debut just based on her audition and how much JYP lit up. He saw a future star in front of him and he wasn't about to lose it. I know he was harsh on her for some things but it was to get her to improve herself and the results paid off.
I'm discovering her AFTER the lineup was finalized, but I'm just now realizing Mayuka's innate swag. I think out of all the members, she has this super unique and versatile aura that exudes confidence. Pretty amazing.
Haha I saw this in her already when I saw her for the first time, and her first performance proved it!!! That's when I knew for some reason she'd be part of the final line up somehow

Ayaka pulled a Dahyun and it worked! She showed JYP her personality and who she was. She did include her dancing skills in there, but she made him smile by being bold. Smart move!
Guys, remember that this video is about when we all knew who is going to debut for sure, NOT EACH MEMBER’S BEST PERFORMANCE THROUGHOUT NIZI PROJECT. I agree with this video, although for Rio, I knew it right away when she performed Yubin’s Lady.
while her singing was still shaky in that one, yeah, i have to agree on that. her charisma while on stage just shined through in that performance. the thing that still confuses me a bit is how different she looked in her audition. she has zero cuteness and is all confidence and cool, yet now she looks super cute.

For me, when the first appearance of Miihi and Rima, I knew that these 2 girls will debut as they as JYP trainees and both of them is pretty 🤣 When Mayuka got 3 cubes in part 1 and got chosen to Korea, I thought she will get debut, but then when the Heartbeat stage, we will that she definitely got debut hahaha 😂 I really scared of Nina couldn’t make her debut cause it reminded me of Somi during Sixteen TT... but fortunately she get debut !!! I think Akari and Yuna would get debut also since JYP seems like really like her and she really shined bright in those latest episode... I thought Yuna will make her debut although she didn’t do very well because we really grab attention from Yuna’s cuteness baby face and also her nature character... feel sad about her 😢 BTW stan NiziU !!!

I don't know how to express how much I'm thankful for Mako for giving Mayuka the center spot. Mako must have seen Mayuka's potential and knew she needed to make it shine in the performance for Mayuka to have a chance in a lineup.
Nina is the reason I watch nizi. From her first audition I fell in love with her. I love her so much. I cried when she was in the debut line up like I was sobbing hahaha I’m so happy
She should incorporate it into one of their future songs. She should give a knowing smile when she says it. I think fans who watched Nizi Project would appreciate it lol
Mayuka really went from 10 to 100 with the heartbeat cover. She looked amazing. I was so shocked, I never really paid attention to her before, but after that, I couldn't imagine the final lineup without her. NiziU is a group full of talent💫🌈
My bias Mayuka ㅠㅠ I'm so glad she debuted. I love her personality and aura, and I think she's so pretty, though you may not notice her visuals at first glance. To me, she's like a hidden gem
You dont know how much joy i felt when i heard that mayuka would be in niziU !! I really felt that she had star quality and all she needed was confidence in her abilities.

Her dance audition was INCREDIBLE, besides her actress- like visuals. The only faulty part about her that I remember is when she messed up the rap for "Be My Baby" at the end of season 1, but other than that, when she performed "Lady" and "Swing Baby" besides "Icy," they were all collectively adding to her chances of debuting. *Maya:* Agreed *Miihi:* For me, it was her cover of "Nobody," besides her performance for "Like TT" at the end of season 1 when she showed how well she could perform in a group while also standing out within that same group. *Mayuka:* Her "Heartbeat" performance guaranteed her debut, but considering how low she ranked in singing and dancing, her first foot in the door past season 1 was her INCREDIBLE performance for "Dalla Dalla." Of all the girls, Mayuka has shown the most drastic improvement. Go, bias wrecker! *Ayaka:* For me, her debut was guaranteed the minute JYP said she reminded him of Suzy from miss A, lol. *Nina:* *Knocks at the door* SHE'S IN. Her audition was everything. She showed her beautiful visuals, beautiful voice, beautiful personality, and she even danced! Add that she's biracial, and it gave her international appeal. I think the only reason JYP ranked her low after her audition was because he was worried he built her up too much from his generous compliments to her at her audition, and he wanted to make sure to keep her humble, but her debut was guaranteed the second she knocked at the door, lol.
Even if Nina didn’t make this group, there was no way JYP was gonna let her go. I also think all of Ayaka performances is what made her secure her place, she was always praised for how hard she worked and the level of improvement she showed at every stage. Mako was a shoe in from day one due how long she had been training and Miihi properly secured her place with the nobody performance which I think is the only reason why the feel special group won (icy group should have won that week, they were stronger)
For me Rima and Nina slay in audition and that shows that they will be part of NiziU They also both had the evaluation of Jypark that they a "totally star"
I don't know why but I felt Maya would debut after watching her story-telling performance. For Mayuka, I just felt she'd debut when S1 ended with "I'm the next Nizi Star".
When the first appearance of Miihi, I definitely confirmed that she will got debut 🤣 because of her visual... many people will grab attention of her cuteness !!!
Watching Nina's audition makes me cry. Just seeing the delight on JYP's face like that was something I'd never seen before. He demonstrated what great, soul-speaking music can do, and Nina just killed it with her vocals, sweet spirit, and presentation this was such a special moment.
