I swear i don't even like single character on the show even tho i love watching the show and all but everyone on the show are same mean, cheaters, liars, manipulators and what not
She became unbearable when she wanted to make lola the it girl even when Lola didn't want to, then she changed her mind and distroyed Lola's job opportunity and tried to ruin her life altogether... thats the moment I just wanted to skip her scenes lmao
Its pretty telling that most of the actors in Gossip Girl hate their characters. No character in this show is really all that likeable. They all have irredeemable qualities.
@@kazakukog dan was chosen as gossip girl just in the last season cause the writers got lazy and ruined his character (especially after he released his books) but in general he was one of the most healthy and truly nice character
The issue is Serena’s character, lacks any complexity. She’s simply a beautiful girl who does whatever she wants and hurts anybody whenever she wants and very impulsive. But she never learns from her mistakes.

All the main characters were unbearable but for a reason that I can't fathom, Blair and Chuck whose behaviour at times was so much worse and downright nasty are treated like gods even when they show cruelty to others throughout the whole run of the show!
@@CJPDeQueen Yes but acknowledge that what they were doing was wrong and they did it anyway. Most of the time they get the consequences that come to them. Serena does bad stuff all the time and NEVER receives any consequences for her actions. She sleeps with her bestfriends boyfriend. She sleeps with a MARRIED man She took a picture of Dan and pinned it on Blair (meaning that Blair got kicked out of Yale) And NOTHING ever happens to her! She does this off of her own free will. Do we still wanna act like she was so innocent.
Everybody hating on Serena in the comments because “she’s a bad person”. They all were. And I think that is what made it so entertaining. The show was meant to be scandalous and expose people’s secrets. If all of them were saints then it wouldn’t have been nearly as iconic as it was during its time. 🤷🏾♀️
The difference is serena pretends to be innocent and all good while the others know and dont hide being bad thats why her character is unbearable she comes across as a hypocrite
I love Serena I mean what she did to Blair was so wrong and hurtful but she was drunk and she tries to be better person so idk why everybody hates her plus Blake Lively is one of most beautiful people on the planet
Yeah totally agree with Blake lively and Serena being great but not ‘one of the most beautiful people on earth’, her surgeries such as nose job and eyelids completely transformed her face so don’t think it would be fair to say that
I love Serena, I think every character has their issues on that show. I honestly can't choose between Blair and serena because they both equally have their flaws.

Honestly Serena became unbearable in like season 5, when she started to be gossip girl and when lola appeared, Dan became annoying as hell way before 😂
serena is so much better than blair. can't believe anybody likes blair, she went to college and couldn't fathom anyone not paying attention to her. she has to hurt people to try and be on top, when serena became queen without even trying. serena > blair
blair is iconic she ate everyone up including serena at any chance & serena wasn’t unbearable but she definitely isn’t better then BLAIR WALDORF and when was serena a queen ? cuz last time i check eb was doing hand outs for blair even when she was in college & all blair wanted was attention & to be loved bc she’s never had that unlike serena who went crazy & had her lil drug issues & sleeping w everyone
Honestly I love Blair too, she’s awesome. But Serena is hands doooown my favorite. I think most people (girls) (no hate, just an observation) don’t like Serena because they can relate more to Blair (cuz she struggles/has to work hard to be perfect whereas Serena just kinda… is)
