Who cares if it's son, man, or sigma. It doesn't matter what you want to say because still, no matter what, he is the dammest son of a bitch in the RDR universe.
@@vindix9137Happens during the Braithwaite Manor fight with Dutch, when him and Hosea are upstairs looking gif jack he yells “Open the god-damn DOOR” it’s not as obvious as this one but still noticeable once you hear it imo
Thats what this game perfected! Slowly and slowly, because its not the most terrible desease, but it was still one of many we had no cure or a way to help it so slowly and slowly You start feeling bad for Author, the dude whos been loyal as hell to Dutch, the man who same a the other few would try settling down the camp and its members morale, You see the both bad and good in him.
Same here. The scene where Arthur gets diagnosed with tuberculosis and then his last ride both always get to me. I felt the same way with John. When he rides home to his family with the song "Compass" playing, only to die shortly after, is just devastating. I think Joel from the Last of Us or Karlach from Baldur's Gate are both close to video game characters I genuinely felt sad for, but it doesn't feel as emotional or as strong as how Rockstar did it with Arthur/John. I have a feeling it'll be a while before we get another character death that makes you feel as strongly as Arthur's.
@@MalikIbnSeydeh tb made him weaker but not weak, he still beat micah in a fist fight practically dying, and he would kill him if dutch didnt do anything
Quite the butterfly effect, Monroe would have lost his job, Eagle Flies survives, Micah gets his skull broken, Arthur escapes with John and survives If he manages to reunite with Mary Linton is up for debate but I think Arthur would have taken care of Tilly Jackson
@@loyalperson69no, the TBC does made high honor Arthur the redemption that he gets at the end. If it weren't for it, Arthur would never have any kind of self-introspection and still be as ruthless as he is in the first few chapters.
@@figboiI wouldn't exactly say that. Arthur was definitely turning before his diagnosis. While in Chap.4, he does already express some form of guilt when he sees Mrs Downes in Saint Dennis and he is most definitely concerned about how Dutch killed Bronte. Earlier he also does express that he wants to escape with Mary but he lacks money and feels the need to help the gang first. Those same concerns show again in Guarma, which is when he realizes Dutch is really loosing it. The first thing Arthur does post getting back from Guarma but before the diagosis is go against Dutch's back and try to rescue John Marston. While I don't doubt TB impacted Arthur, it more than so accelerated what was going to happen already. Arthur would've still gone against Dutch and try to get the other members away from the camp and the increasing law surrounding them but it definitely would've taken him longer to do that.
He was dying and he still managed to knock that guys teeth out! Arthur was amazing from the beginning to the very end! He even managed to beat the crap out of Micah with his last few breaths
arthur proves that he's a father, as everyone at camp, including dutch, look to him to provide the food, shelter, clothing ,and security and protection, with begruging love asking nothing in return. realizing that a woman and her sons suffering because of him, has his insticts to father them kick in, and like a good father he gives them what they need to make life eaiser. the money and method to leave and Not Look Back! was the best. i wonder if mrs. downes and her son look back.
@@chrisnorris3641in truth. full size new austin is next to california lomoyne on the atlantic ocean side new hanover in the very south. the rdr2 map is 8% of the us. RDR2's suitcase would be much bigger but Rockstar wanted more details in every part of the game and not a giant map itself Feedback
The background music is always so good in Red Dead videos, it’s music made in recent years but it matches the atmosphere and characters so well… Arthur was a strong man until his last breath. 😮💨😮💨😎😎💯💯🔥🔥
The way he said, “Stop bullying the boy.” That look of sorrow and regret because Arthur himself bullied him months back, and he’s trying to make amends. Makes me so sad. 🥺
Even though it’s highly rated and revered, this game is still underrated. It’s an emotional storytelling masterpiece that is as timeless as a Star Wars or a Beethoven classic. I recommend this to everyone I know, what a gripping and captivating experience. The things I would do to play this for the first time again, I wish I could go back ❤
TB is actually longer lasting than in Arthur's case. The point could be made that it's because of his stressful lifestyle. Typically, TB takes at least a few years to kill someone. For, like say Doc Holliday, it took 16 years. Reports say he probably got from his dying mother at age 15.
James Arness would've been a perfect actor to play Arthur. I'd trust Hugh with the role, but my other candidates would be Roger himself, and maybe Dylan McDermott and Jon Hamm.
Cue the low honor sound after the player gets control again. Because Arthur is better than that. I feel he should've done so to Micah, though. But I'm wondering how Micah didn't catch it during the fight with all the blood and saliva flying everywhere.
Theres a mission where you have to talk to the miner to find out where someone is hiding out. He calls them all sorts of horrible things so on my first playthrough i decided to stab him where he stood. Got me wanted Dead or alive in all of annesburg because its a quest npc that had more relevance to the story.
The voice acting in this game was the true gem. Worthy of an Oscar. A beautiful game with a captivating and heart wrenching story. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be happy and you’ll be mad. But none of those emotions would be provoked if not for the voice actors. I wish RDR was a movie.
The attention to detail, the journey, the arc of Arthur… all of it so great. It truly hits as well, playing as John and finishing stranger missions for people Arthur helped. The different conversations with the last gang members too
What do you mean? This is last game they released, at least give them a chance to try lol. Also, RDR is very different to GTA, they usually aim for a different experience
@@alexpg4213 oh no I mean like the character arc with Arthur they could make a red dead 3 easily if you ask me. You could make A game about early years of the gang. A gane where jack goes to ww1 or where he becomes a writer and leaves the outlaw life A game where it leads up the black water massacre *kinda similar to the first idea*
@@alexpg4213 I would love a Sadie dlc that would be amazing for the Charles one I think he’s just chilling tbh where as Sadie’s probably going to be a bounty hunter for the rest of her life also I would love a undead nightmare 2
The fact that the boys dad had given him TB when he coughed on him and Arthur didn’t even hesitate to help the boy and his mom after his dad passed from TB is amazing

Arthur's name has been forgotten as legend, but lives on after he has done as much good as he could do. Saving John is an example of how he passes forward the torch of hope.
Miner: You could kill no one look at you all sick and weak Arthur’s mind: Oh it’s on Reality: Miner get absolutely destroyed Arthur:Couldn’t kill no one right I’m all sick and weak I guess even the sick can still fight
