This is what I find so cool about the idea of setting up a piano in a public place for anyone to play: it shows there‘s something more to people than their appearance and allows them to communicate with whoever is passing by - and everyone gets to tap into the common emotional experience of music. In a world where media consumption increasingly isolates people, this is a precious thing.
So etwas habe ich tatsächlich noch nirgendwo gesehen. Aber ich finde es auch recht unangenehm dass 90 % sofort eine Kamera draufhalten statt einfach nur zuzuhören.
“To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.” ― Ludwig van Beethoven BRAVO Mr. Kavanagh !!!! I have watched this video countless times, and every time I still have the biggest smile. THANK YOU.
Agents of the Chinese Communist Party successfully leveraged the UK police as their own private security and tried to have someone pulled off the piano for their communist propaganda-- The entire world fought back against it, and the UK police were deeply embarrassed (again) to have been exposed running interference for a literal authoritarian communist despot. That's what happened,@@user-zu4nl7bm9e
I’ve not heard this piece of music before but he clearly knows and loves it and blessed everyone by playing for us. Thank you sir, never stop playing the piano.
He was into the music the moment he started...oblivious to everything else. This happened to me once. I played at a hotel in front of people on a grand piano reserved for the residents. I had never done this before and probably never will again , even though I was asked to play every night afterwards. I’ll never forget that experience. It takes nerve to improvise in a public space. This man had that nerve. A beautiful piece.
What I have just watched 😢, brings tears to my eyes. This is not just a Masterpiece in piano but whole book can be written on this. This is a story of Separation from the Beloved. In this talented man's case, he is separated from where he truly belongs in order to earn his living in some other direction totally different, but he stomachs it, he bares that burden gracefully only to be with his beloved (piano) whenever he can. Thank you 🙏 for that rendition Sir.
Yes the melody has a name, it is called Tubular Bells... this is the most beautiful version I have heard. Thank you for loading it. He's an extraordinarily gifted pianist.
I'm 79 ~~ And Since Childhood, Wished To Play The Piano & Guitar... But Due Lack Of Funds, I Never Played Either... I Played Coronet In Junior High, And The Harmonica, Which I Taught Myself.... But When I Hear This Piano Played By Brandon; I Admit, There Is A Streak Of Jealousy Which Creeps In On Me !!.. What WONDERFUL Sounds He Makes For Us To Hear !!
it's ok, even our dreams didn't get through , life is like that , maybe you've done another skill that you're good at it , we all have talent in different ways ..❤
I love that you allow common people to play as we all know that playing and listening is a true stress relief. This man was great. He is a gifted musician and will have a happier day by playing right now 🎼🎹 🎼 🤗
And I recently read that if you want smarter children, teach them Music, not coding. I remember as a child laying on the living room floor on Saturday mornings listening to the music and life stories of the great composers. It was heaven. My sister, a good pianist too, who got a college degree in music theory, ended up "bringing in" a unified healing music/sound system based on how sound is hardwired in us. So grateful to all who came before so that I can be transported to heaven every time I hear someone such as this man.💖🙏✨
Oh my ! Goosebumps... He is SO very talented... I think he may be a professional musician who cannot live with his only music or had to change life and job for any kind of reason... Everything is possible, we'll never know the truth and who this wonderful man really is. But he made my day, I LOVED this video, he is absolutely fantastic.
@@w.sommen5209 I hope it's not a fake, the guy is a musician and just disguised into a worker 😂 Because I've seen the same with two so-called policemen some days ago 😂 And they were not at all, it was a joke.
@@bananabattlebean4858 I'll give half credit. My background in computer science prevents me from giving full credit to Google's bastard-child algorithm born of censorship and privacy infringement. :p Anyways...we should all be deeply disturbed that at this point, a majority of the video content we ingest is being delivered to us by a computer. The concept of a public that appreciates being told what to like and who to like is borderline terrifying. But I know I just sound like a sensationalist at best, and a conspiracy theorist at worst, at this point, so I desist. Half credit. If that!
@@greatwallofchina886 As a fellow pianist, it does take more than 10 years to be able to come up with such incredible things or you're a special talent, (example Beethoven & Chopin > wrote their first songs in their teenages) So it's indeed incredible.
Дорогой человек, играющий на пианино, Вы просто профессионал в музыке! Вы очень меня тронули игрой на фортепиано🥺 Хочу пожелать Вам здоровья, удачи, добра и успехов в творчестве! ❤️💛😊💐💐💐✨✨✨
Shane Feeney it’s slender man going to Hawaii for a short vacation. Scaring teenagers in video games, kidnapping children and playing in bad movies is really tiring ya know?
I love that you guys disguise yourselves or pretend at times to be clueless with the piano, makes for unsuspecting suprise & astonishment on the crowds! ❤️🎹🎹🔥🥰🤗🔥🎹🤟😎
Also, there are many talented artists who just can't make money from their art or expertise, so what do they do? A friend from Cambridge University of mine spent his life running a pizza restaurant
when you are old you don't have much people to care about at all. it's all about living the last moments of your life. the young ones are recording to be able to show others. if everything was meant to be enjoyed by urself, we never would have to record anything
Hi Brendan, this was you 5 years ago ? Your music moved me to tears. Now I know why you have 2.5 million subscribers. And now you're famous for ' Piangte' . However, you stood your ground for FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION , against autocracy. We are very proud of you . By the way, you got beautiful eyes & your daughter is a fabulous dancer ! God bless you & all you stand for. Love from Holland ❤ !!!
Bro dived in ocean of pleasure & testing his skills on fine Yamaha instrument. I'm telling you from his view, he's sitting alone at hill top somewhere & pulling those strings like heaven come down.
@@yukichan177 no copyright on that , its improvisation. And i wanted to mention that the greatest form of respect is copying and working the kinks out. You can appericate naturally made diamond but it will always look better when someone cuts it in shape. Change isnt always a bad thing - it can just be a higher form of apperication
@@yukichan177 someone´s personal creation isn´t only his, it belongs to everyone. Only the greedy companies in today´s world are trying to make us believe the opposite. Imagine where would human be right now, applying copyright laws all over mankind history. We´d be still in caves.
@@Morpheus-pt3wq yeah it s nice and noble until you're a writer or composer working you a$$ off for years to come up with something beautiful so everyone can use it for free or steal it. Then you can die a happy starving person!
When I was young I was teased for taking piano lessons(10 yrs). Now, at 51, I am a 32 year professional automotive technician with my own shop(15 Yrs), and I play and write almost every day. Thank you mom and dad.
There's programs that convert mp3 files into MIDI. In theory you could take the audio from this, convert it to MIDI, and remove the notes that are picked up from the background noise.
OOOHHHHH - JUST BREATHTAKING AND DELIGHTFUL TO WATCH AND LISTEN TO!!! Dear Sir I hope someone helps you harness this gift to be shared with millions!!!!!! I love your talent! thank you for sharing!

Oh man his timing is great too. You can tell not only does he have talent but he practices with a metronome and does so religiously. Fantastic playing.

What they didn't show you is a Policeman, an American Indian chief, a Cowboy, a Leatherman and a Military man joined him shortly after this performance.
This piano was donated by elton john who played here 4 years ago and donated this yanma piano and signed it. The piano is located at ST pancras station london
@@spyyro9190 The second part of the melody at 02:44 is the chord progression from "Faded". That's why you like it.You like a song from the first time when it is familiar although you cannot tell where you heard the melody before. Otherwise it may need several or many times to hear it before you really love it. The very first notes of the intro is a small variation from Beethoven's 9th symphony mvt 1. Great ,great playing and music from Brendan anyway....
