The money pitch of Tachycardia. Despite being a little steep in spots and being the hardest pitch of the climb, I felt it was pretty mellow for the grade.

You can treat a double length runner like a cordelette. At least your anchor would get equalized that way.

This the strangest rock I have every seem, looks like rocks held together with concrete.

Conglomerate is pretty sketchy, we've been climbing in Maple Canyon and have dislodged a rock that looked just the rock our anchor was in!

What does "the money pitch" mean? I figure it's just the hardest pitch on a route, but I never heard the term in europe and can't seem to google it either.

It basically just means it's the pitch that makes the climb fun due to the slightly harder rating and the exposure. When something is "money" it usually means it's quality or awesome

You should have just kept going, there's some rope drag but it's not too bad. You were so close to the top

So weird. I can’t help but picture whipping on one of the bolts that is in the individual rocks and it pulling out of the conglomerate, then flying at your face down the rope 😂 sure they aren’t going anywhere though
