The mongol army should have utilized horse archers rather than foot archers. the horse archers would have been more mobile and could strike the infantry and cavalry rather than stand there and exchange arrow fire with the better longbowmen. Since he had infantry, he should have rushed the archers and moved his cavalry behind the enemy line to charge them a few times so they wouldn't back up the archers in their fight against the mongol infantry. If it were me I would have utilized an majority cavalry force with a small number of decent infantry to hold the enemy infantry in place while my cavalry delt with the enemy cavalry and then turn on the enemy infantry in moral breaking charges and retreats or just shoot at them. Of course, that's all asuming the norman cavalry would lose to the mongol cavalry which I why we need to outnumber them with cavalry units. My man did not utilize tried and true nomadic open field tactics.
@@thenutella8846 yeah agree with your strategy my man he needed more horses and he didn't bring his best cavalry so he could match those heavy norman knights!
