Ever wanted to recreate history? Wanted to see the Roman Empire endure or Napoleon successfully conquer Russia? Well this is the place for that. With games such as Crusader Kings 2 and the award winning Total War series you can go back in history. My name is PopeJohnPaul and I hope to take you the bloodiest battles in history and forge many glorious empires! Sharpen your bayonets and prepare to charge!!
Not sure what that was, defenders literally allowed the enemy to surround them because they didn't want to move? Dwarves just stood there are got destroyed. Did this fight desync?
@@PopeJohnPaul yeah. I download the main file and go to transport it to my data file for attila and all I see is a file with the E symbol and it’s called a bunch of random characters
@@Royal_tanker hmm best thing to do is join Dawnless Days discord if you haven't already and inquire there they probably have run into this issue before
@@thebritishplay thanks for the info honestly needs sorting as a cap to 1 elvenking rider should be able to take out a servants of the eye especially when you can bring 3 of them
Exactly 100% it's as you said at the end there about how the coalition went about the battle. Could've been a real ugly one for us had they been slightly more aggressive in their movements while we were still marching the bulk of our forces to the frontline. My guys arrived at the literal second they were required to hold the thin Polish infantry line from the Brit & Prussian reinforcements, otherwise easily could've been an encirclement and gg.
@@K107ENG yeah that map and how the spawns are set make it so you need big pointers to hold the line till the reinforcements arrive not a cav army 🤣 but hey it worked !
The coalition couldnt counter the pattern cav charge-and then inf charge. Could there be a way to counter it tho? Maybe countercharging cav and then volleying the charging inf?
As best I can tell, the match started off promising for the Coalition but they over-committed without knocking down the French cavalry first. Probably would have been a longer battle if all those generals had been protected! France (W) Coalition Total Deployed: 10927 9721 Losses: 4989 7443 % of Team Lost: 46% 77% Friendly Fire: 320 593 % of Team FF: 3% 6% Enemy Killed: 6850 4669 Killed/Lost Ratio: 1.37 0.63
why not use deployables? after all bad guys have trolls, wraiths, grenadiers, etc.and as usual grenadiers make all the difference. when are the good guys getting weapons and troops like this?
Defenders turned a win into a big L. Why throw away the win when they had plenty of chances for reloads and to rest units. Maybe they were in a rush, who knows.
Really wish I could play this, you make this seem like so much fun, but my computer screen goes black with the blue loading circle when I try to play it
i find in campaign that slingers tend to get more kills than archers. if there were no tortoises maybe players would be more inclined to defend the walls instead of falling back to choke points
Tortoises are added with the Greek States Culture pack dlc and are available to all , Rome, Carthage, and mainland Greek factions. Greek colony factions , nor do Barbarians or the desert kingdoms.don’t have Tort..If I remember correctly Egypt can't bring torts too.
I think that the player playing for Russia deliberately lost the battle, he has a huge artillery battery on the right flank and a large number of infantry who do NOTHING the entire battle! This is a custom match with a deliberate loss.
According to the data in a study I just looked up, most wounds would be causes by firearms. Bayonet fights happend very very! rarely.. we are talking about that aprox 3,5% of the casualties/wounds were caused by edged weapons, from those edged weapons only 22,9% was caused by bayonet. for the rest of the total casualties, about 77% was caused by firearm and about 19% by artillery.
