Fun fact one reason why the mini monkeys remember macaque even after him being gone for so long is that in the first few chapters of journey to the west wu Kong was taken to the underworld. To summarize the whole thing wu Kong basically ask the king of the underworld why he’s that and trick him into not reincarnating him. He then got ahold of the book of life and death. Wu Kong basically removed his name and pretty much all of the other monkeys name from the book and tada the mini monkeys and now immortal.
I wonder if that part will ever be mentioned in the show. I want to believe that Wukong crossed off Macaque’s name from the book as well since they were both best friends back then. And Either Wukong never told him about that or something might have caused Macaque to forget that part due to trauma or manipulation
That was so funny Wukong acted like a goddamn Karen about being taken to the underworld because the method Puti taught him promised him immortality, so he demanded to see the proof he was supposed to be dead. Then he scribbled his name out of the charters holding all the names of all living creatures that will die including the names of several monkies. I wonder if the show would ever add Wukong’s immortal generals as side characters.

To some people who are confused, the reason the monkeys recognize Macaque is because they're immortal. How you ask? Because when Wukong scratched his name out of the book of death, he also scratched out every single monkey's name.
@@datacomic4505 I think he did that before he met Macaque. Cuz Macaque straight up died which means his name wasn't crossed out of the death book. LBD confirms it by saying "I who returned you to the mortal plain." Macaque is still immortal, it just means he doesn't age, but he can still die in other ways.
i wonder is the theory still correct about macaque i don't know but there is monkey in the video it's a 10/10 i watch a lot of jimmy here so that's why he just says monkey when there is a monkey on the screen like actual one and that is the most relatable thing ever i do not know why it sound like i have but i am just meet this going for so long i don't even care
