(Thought I pinned this comment before but I guess pinning comments on a scheduled upload deletes them) I avoided the final trailer but of course I saw the thumbnail with Shagaru on it. In the process of trying to avoid getting spoiled until I got to Shagaru myself, I ended up spoiled in 2 more ways. 1. I saw someone with the Greatsword while playing on the Switch version 2. One of my friends DMed me a pic of their end screen with Shagaru in it not knowing I was going spoiler free After getting spoiled all those times, I completely went off sites like discord until I finished the playthrough.

I first met Shagaru in GU,wasn't the biggest fan of his fight. But here in Sunbreak i was giggling like a fangirl durring the whole hunt,they made him so awesome! I got pummeled into the dirt hard,but i wasn't mad because i was just blown away by how visually awesome his fight is.

I honestly don't understand why they showed the rest of the roster for Sunbreak when they could've kept the rest hidden.

I loved Shagaru's fight too, specially because he set the tension making me cart twice in the first minutes of the hunt. One of the best monsters in the expansion without doubt.

Hey Reaver I suggest you use Red Swap scroll for Finishing Discharge and Soaring Wyvern Blade along with the counter, so you can do even more damage after launching off the monster or just getting a way to escape death midair. On the Blue scroll You can have switch charger, compressed discharge, and invincible gambit if you want to use for safety and to just get free swaxe gauge on the fly. Basically, maintain your bugs, dish out big numbers in red, swap to blue and find an opening to use switch charge, using I. Gambit in emergency, and basically infinite spamming mounted finishing discharge -> soaring wyvern blade combos. Also the first and 3rd hits of 2-stage axe combo give INSANE automatic reload and charge for some reason, so you can fill your gauge on the go with that by spamming that full combo.

hearing shagaru and gore back got me into mh after my first game 4u.

2:14 I got like two when I first did the fight... With no plunder palico... Then I got two more will grinding to get it's freaking fell wings for its freaking armor... When good luck is actually detrimental

0:41 personal opinion here, I honestly wish they did more for Malzeno's enraged form... Didn't need much, maybe more Curios surrounding him, or maybe have his spear tail open up like a claw of some sort. Didn't need much

Shagaru is back! My favourite monster returns and although he is my favourite this is the first time I’ve ever fought him! I loved his fight theme and armour so much and I’m really happy to see everyone else did too. The one thing about it is it seems off that such an iconic, (Legendary, as you would say) powerful monster is not a very important part of the story felt off to me. Don’t get me wrong I really loved his inclusion but he’s too crazy of a monster to just be thrown in for fan service. If not for that, this monster would have been perfect in sunbreak. But he is still by far and away my favourite monster in sunbreak and probably the series!

My theory on why shagauru is in here is he is to represent good vs evil with malzeno

I cant wait for the final boss episode so I can see your reaction to the fight gosh though the final boss is just epic

Hey Reaver I was wondering if it is possible to beat MHR base game with only the throwing kunai (the throwing knife) since you get an infinite amount of them and they do damage. Could you try this for me?
