See how proud the presenter is. You can see joy in her eyes. This is a turnaround for the nation of Nigeria all thanks to one man. That's the power positive influence.
As a patriotic Nigerian, I am extremely proud of Aliko Dangote and the entire Dangote Group, particularly the Dangote Refinery, for their remarkable achievements. It's a testament to the impact one individual can have on a country's economic development. I wish our corrupt leaders would take a page from Aliko Dangote's book and invest in Nigeria, rather than stashing their ill-gotten gains in foreign countries. I once again commend the Dangote Refinery for its groundbreaking achievement and hope it paves the way for a stable and sustainable petroleum supply chain in Nigeria. This would bring immense relief to the masses, who have long suffered from price volatility and scarcity. May this milestone mark the beginning of a new era in Nigeria's energy sector. If you agree, please join me in thanking Aliko Dangote by typing 'Thank you, Aliko Dangote'.
@@ogbehkevinewu, tinubu go dey spoil, you want another person to be shouldering the loss, Dangote will sell at a profit to sustain his supply, that is business, no sentiments.
Excited and very happy for our bros and sisters of Nigeria,as a Tanzanian and pan Africanist I see success of Nigeria as a success of our mother continent Africa and that we cant be looked down forever,we Africans have been exploited for far too long and this breakthrough is just the beginning of the rise of the new Africa!!!
@@nsajimwasege68 Guys let's give those Sad-afriCows higher blood pressure with this campaign #blackSAmustGo THE LAND BELONGS TO THE WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS ✊ GOD BLESS NIGERIANS 🇳🇬💪 GOD BLESS EVERY ANTI-XENOPHOBIC AFRICANS❤️✌️❤️
Thank you Rufai for speaking truth to the government and being a beacon to their conscience and thanks for also remembering the aid provided by Emefiele to Dangote (a lot of unsaid words under that carpet). Thanks Abati for always being our guide in accordance to the law, thanks Ayo our wife, thanks Arise for being the voice of Nigerians.
It is a wonderful time to be alive and witness this remarkable feat by Aliko Dangote and his group. I celebrate their doggedness, perseverance, and the tenacity to keep in the midst of so much chaos locally and internationally. What a massive project you just placed in Nigeria to thrive on and further cement her place as the giant of Africa, though we still need to put our country in order
Thanks and congratulations to Aliko Dangote, the media, and all well meaning Nigerians who stood against forces of darkness who wanted to frustrate the realization of this dream, this is not a government legacy rather a private citizen's initiative and doggedness, God thank you for a day like this.
As much as I’m impressed by what Aliko Dangote has done and is doing, I’m really disappointed that this great achievement still has to go through the NNPC. Africa has a long way to go
This is a victory for Nigeria and Nigerians on the streets of the nation and all over the WORLD! DANGOTE IS GOD'S ANNOINTED. LET NO MAN TROUBLE HIM, OTHERWISE THE WRATH OF GOD WILL DESCEND HEAVILY UPON THEM. ALIKO IS LIKE THE BIBLICAL KING CYRUS, ISAIAH 44:23 to 45:8.❤
Good news indeed. Praise God for Nigeria and Aliko Dangote. I am glad Emefiele was also mentioned fir his support for the take off of the Dangote refinery. A lot of people supported this course and I am glad its not in vain. Congratulations 💐 Nigeria.
Dangote is a GAME CHANGER for petrol and related products in Nigeria and Africa at large. We (Nigerian government and people) owe it a DUTY to make sure it succeeds. Congrats Aliko Dangote for your giant strides. More grace
They will go bankrupt. They will give the oil to cities and they will never pay and he will have to keep giving gas or the government will shut him down
Not Nigeria my man, dangote group. Nigeria isn't refining Nada. Let's wait and see what pump price and availability will be like. If it favours the masses... Den u can celebrate.
Be it whoever; solve Nigeria's problems and you'd be celebrated. Can't wait to have that relief of a lifetime of Fuel Palava....! Congratulations to Aliko Dangote. Congratulations to Nigeria!
If all the Nigerians building edifices in Dubai and stashing billions in Switzerland and other foreign countries, put their resources in Nigeria, there’d be no single trace of poverty in the country. As matter of fact, only 7 Nigerians can end poverty and shortages of basic commodities in the entire country from coast to coast. But alas, it’s a nation where people expect the government to do everything, and the government is saturated with corrupt elements who hardly care for the future of the country. You can’t even have stable supply of electricity after all these decades (my entire lifetime). I’ve been away for many years, and people still shout “up NEPA” when the lights finally turn on. People stream on social media with their flashlights, and mosquitoes still have their daily nutrition off of a malnourished populace. When will it all change?
What is new Nigeria The only new Nigeria is when NNPC do crude oil swap for refined fuel so that the 100% production can be achieved by Dangote refinery
Kudos to Dangote Refinery. It is truly an ambitious project. It is expected that the company makes profit. They should however for love for Naija keep the principles of solidarity and common good in mind. These are my thoughts!
This is the first time ever that l am agreeing with Dr Abati. All Nigerian businesses should be allowed to buy directly from Dangote refinery. There'll definitely be problems when the NNPC is involved in the sales of the fuel.
@rotimikayode1072 The everything in Nigeria is set up for corruption. In Saudi Arabia, they have a gas company that's totally responsible outside of the government responsible for all fuel sales, the same in the U.S. It's only in a country like Nigeria where you have a government totally involved in the refinery. Who truly regulates the NNPC? Back in the 70s, my brother in law, was recruited from NYC by the NNPC. His worst mistake was accepting the offer. He was stationed in Warri. Because of his refusal to part in the corruption. All his colleagues were cooking the books. He became a target, especially coming from the U.S. He was recommended to the military to be retired at age 40. He's been back in the U.S. since the 80s and now an American citizen. The NNPC is amongst the most currupt entities in Nigeria. A childhood friend of mine was given about a million dollars worth of crude oil to sell in the black market in 2011. He shared this information with me on her visit to the U.S. He laughed at me when l criticized her. She told me that l was speaking grammar that's meaningless in Nigeria. And l am better off just staying in the U.S.
Monopoly no monopoly, Dangote make Nigeria proud. There many Nigerians Who loots our treasury and invested thé money oversea, whatever you think about Dangote he is à proud Nigerian.
We are waiting for the price, I pray he will not be more concerned with export. Let him help us, I pray for him as some of us sees this as a savings grace from NNPCL
@@Ninenifea even the government needs to sell off those 4 to corporate entities. You see, these types of services come good when they become private and listed on the stock exchange. You and I then become part owners.
@@Ninenifea Govts are not good at running businesses, its a general thing globally; the best run companies and organisations are usually private owned. The FG should have sold those refineries long ago but the corrupt officials esp in NNPC refused to do so because they were using them to steal our money thru so called yearly TAM that were never successful; billions of dollars wasted on TAM with no results.
Big congratulations to Aliku Dangote for the giant Strides. You have proved that indeed you love this country by re- investing a whooping some of twenty billion dollars into your country. Thank you for creating jobs for the masses. Please dont ever join the politicians. You shall live long and happy; AMEN.
God has maped out Nigeria 🇳🇬 for destruction already, nobody can save Nigeria 🇳🇬, Nigeria needs division to save lives, that's why we must get BIAFRA ✊🏾
Congratulations..Alhaji Aliko Dangote..for "keeping it, in the System", and not throwing Nigerian wealth into "foreign basket"! Congratulations to all Nigerians too..! 🇳🇬🎉
We also thank Brekete family programme in the person of Ordinary president Dr Ahmed, the voice of the masses and every good Nigerians for their support towards this success.
FRAME 3:20 "Congrats to Aliko Dangote. He could have taken his $20 Billion and gone and bought an Island somewhere in Tahiti and relaxed but he decided to come to the aid of the country..." Isn't Aliko Dangote such a wonderful guy?
As a Zimbabwean i salute Aliko Dangote for paving the way for true financial freedom for all black across the world especially in Africa. Self Reliance is the way to go we have been only consumers for too long
My call to Dangote, please , I understand that Nigerians have been supporting you on this refinery project, please remember us and sell fuel to us at a relatively affordable price.... We pray that you and us all benefit from this historic and gigantic project
@@Freedom-l1g . I love your plea to Dangote, however, this will be dependent on complex factors including that of NNPC. The true remains, even if he would have sold more cheaply, NNPC and other marketers will not allow that, and if it would be way higher, it would probably be higher than what we currently have since govt have come out to say Petrol is still being subsidized. It's either that of Dangote is also subsidized or we pay higher, but steady supply will be guaranteed, hopefully an end of fuel queue era
Dangote doesn't control the fuel price. Tinubu (petroleum minister) and the NPCL determine the price. If NNPCL supply crude at cheaper rate, then Dangote will sell back to NNPCL at cheaper rate. So our fate lies on whether the government are going to be greedy or not.
It’s a good news for the masses but a disappointment and heartache to the cabals bent on keeping the country at the economic margins. Dangote did this exceptionally well. God bless him!
Even before watching this video, I can say that the impact this project will have on the economy is even a reason why it took this long. It’s time to take Nigeria into our own hands people
Thank God for a man like Alhaji Dangote, for his kind gesture to the people of Nigeria, this are the kind of people we should be praising not thieves called politicians and government that don't have head...mr dangote is a one man army . we thank God him. God blessings will always be with him and his family.. what a government couldn't do for 28years... a man on his own did it... mr dangote you are the giant of Africa sir.. you are a courageous man ... we love you
Nigeria depresses the sane mind. Dangote spent $20b building a new 650 thousand barrel refinery and has started production while Nigeria has spent $20b refurbishing 4 existing refineries that are not producing and have a total capacity of less than 400 thousand barrels. Na wah.
Thank You Sir Aliko Dangote.. we Nigerians are proud of you sir.. pls hope the price will come down considerably.. as dat will impact the economy positively.. Bcos the price of goods in the market and help the common man.. Thank you once again Sir Aliko Dangote.😊😊😊
Mr Aliko Dangote, thank you very much and may God continue to protect and give you long life. Congratulations. Other money bags in the country should emulate Dangote and invest in Nigeria. Even those who looted large from the Nigerian treasury should also join and invest in the country inorder to create jobs for the poor youths they rendered ussless.
Hope the rate of foreign currency will drop, because Dangote company contributed to high rates we have today, that affect so many other sectors. Kudos to Dangote he has done well.
Rufai you sometimes don't see anything good in what Nigeria is doing that is not the best way to project the country to the world. Most countries of the world showcase the best things happening not the worst . The media has a lot of impact in the development of a nation Dangote's refinery is a positive image for Nigeria which will end petrol scarcity and should be applauded.
That why we have NTA for them to lie to us and the rest of the world This is a private news agency...plus applauding government has not gotten us any where
I appreciate his tenacity, doggedness and business vision in spite of all the deliberate obstacles he faced was able to bring his dream to fruition. Undoubtedly, this announcement will help to reduce the cost of petroleum products in the country. Especially, reduces the incessant queuing in the filling stations and possibly eliminate the scarcity of fuel in the country. In addition, it will reduce foreign currency flight from the country, which is causing unnecessary stress on the economy. And if properly managed could help boost the country foreign exchange reserves through exports of the petroleum finished products. Bravo.
This is a lesson that only the private sector can solve Nigeria’s problems. Govt should not be in private sector business. They should only support and maybe regulate businesses. Build roads, infrastructure, that help private sector do business easily. That’s it
I would have liked to hear more about the regulation or not of the downstream sector..... Kudos, massive kudos, to Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the Federal Govt of Nigeria and all the various sectors that progressed and supported this initiative
Assuming NNPC can provide enough crude to Dangote Refinery, and even if its sold to Dangote in Naira, the price will be the international oil price and just because its denominated in Naira does not mean it will be cheap. The days of cheap oil is over, Nigerians should be ready to pay. 1000 Naira a litre due to the Tinubu devaluation of the currency. So unless the Naira can increase to where it was a year ago or even 10 years ago oil will not be cheap in Nigeria. In the long term Nigeria will also have to move to alternative energy sources.
