I can just appreciate the fact that Joe knows that it's Kuai Liang as Sub-Zero and he's acting like a big brother lol! It shows that he definitely knows the lore which makes me happy
@@KYRO-NOMI Scorpion is mortal kombat's mascot, not saying that subzero is bad but he is weaker compared to scorpion and Ed boon himself said it when he was on reacting reddit that Scorpion is better.
I like how passionate Sub-Zero's actor is. Attitude like this always sells for me major extra points when it comes to adapting something and then promoting it. Cheers, Joe.
After watching the movie, I gotta say that Joe Taslim carried the entire movie (Hiroyuki Sanada also shined in the 15 minutes or so that he was in the movie...jeez). He really needs to be in the sequel or more Hollywood movies. Marvel or DC should hire him.
DC HAVE hired him. WB owns DC and either owns or has a strong working relationship with Netherealm through WB games and use their film division to make movies on the IPs.

Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero completely stole the show! The way he can portray so much coldness only with his eyes and in reality is such a sweet guy is amazing
From someone who freshly watched this movie, Joe Taslim and Josh Lawson are completely different from the characters they play and it's so wholesome to watch

Funny piece of Trivia: Kano was never described as an Aussie on the original games, he was played as an Aussie in the OG 90s film, so when the characters in the game started having dialog, then it was decided to give him the Aussie accent as in the movie and overall make him Australian.

It's great to see those funny faces. It is worth noting that all the actors perfectly fit into the images of their characters. I would especially like to highlight Joe Taslim. Sub-Zero performed by an Indonesian martial artist turned out to be what I imagined him to be - a creepy fanatic Lin Kuei with sadistic tendencies, which speaks not only of excellent combat skills, but also of Joe's acting talent.

Joe Talsim has really impressed me across multiple videos showing that he truly knows all of the Sub-Zero storyline. Even calling out in another video that Kuai Liang became a Cyborg Sub-Zero in MK9. I wonder if he's as disappointed as I am that Sub-Zero is a chosen name rather than an inherited one in the movie.

These guys are legendary and did a phenomenal job every actor. Sub-Zero has been my favorite since 92 and that theatre got cold af. Bring back Kung Lao he's too tough🐉🐲💯
