i had the absolute honor and privledge to have not only meet Moses Hogan, but sit under his direction once while he was teaching "battle of Jericho" to a highschool choir in Detroit. Its been 20 years and I still think about that.

One of my last conversations with Moses was about future engagements which included another recording with Mormon Tabernacle Choir AND the need for a video of us as the Moses Hogan Singers because a lot of people didn’t know that we were Black! There are some videos of us as the Chorale, but they’re not professionally done
I went southern university and we sung this 1 year our choir director had this habit of crossing his eyes when he was directed I’m new to the class so at the end of the song he crossed his eyes and I bust out laughing needless to I got put out for the rest of that class I made sure not to laugh when I saw those cross again tho 😂😂😂
