Hello greetings, I want to thank you for allowing me to see my beautiful state of DURANGO through your eyes, I leave you a cordial hug and blessings, wishing you a happy stay in DURANGO
Man I’m almost in tears as I watch your video. You have brought me so many memories and feelings. I’m actually from Durango, Durango and I haven’t been back since 1995 (29 years ago) can’t believe it’s changed so much and for the better! Thank you so much for the kind words and your amazing take of the city ❤
Why I love the Yarbros: You listened to that brother’s story without judgement, and gave him some spiritual support (In Jesus name) as well as financial support. I am highly anticipating the next video; Durango looks like a great place! (I hate to admit it but I thought you were talking about Vanessa Del Rio as well 🤣.
I found your videos last summer and it was one of the motivators to make the move to Mexico. I've been in Durango since January of this year. My parents are from Durango so it was easy for me to come here. You guys are right and this city is slept on. There's a tianguis that pops up on Sunday, Tíanguis el santuario, and it is an great experience. I like to go early so I can have breakfast.
Yeah,I’m from Durango city also. I used to live near el Santuario de la Virgen de Guadalupe(our lady of Guadalupe Sanctuary). Great celebrations there on the end of year holidays(before & on the 12th of December).
@@TheYarbrosI’m so glad u visited my hometown guys! I recommend u visit a place called Chupaderos(don’t know if still exist) but u can research, cause I been here in California for about 30years. It’s a place where western movies used to be filmed. It’s kind of like a ghost town.I’m also very proud & happy that u guys like my town & culture. Love u guys!💕
Much appreciated love to my home town, Yarbros! I liked seeing my home town through your eyes. I grew up in Durango and live in Arizona now. Y'all got me excited to visit my family next year, it's been about 6 years since I've been back.
I was just in Durango during New Years, such an amazing city. At Paseo del Viejo Oeste I was pulled from the crowd during the show and got to act in some scenes. It was an unforgettable experience.
Now again such a surprise for me ! I go to Durango pretty often & pedestrian Constitución is just around the corner to where is my house there ! Thank you a Lot for showinng one of the underrated tourist destinations in México. The state is incredibly beautiful specially by the Mountain range. If ever you follow though Mazatlan next, you ¨ll see for yourselves . Best wishes Bro !
You said it best when it comes to Durango and I think it's most overlooked appeal. It. Is. So. Chill. My dad had been dealing with insomnia until he finally went back home to Durango from Chicago and told me he slept so good being back there.
I don't know if somebody's gonna read this, I have to recommend you that, if you come to Durango, and end up renting a car, or have transportation with a local friend, go to Nombre de Dios, is a small, very small town, or village or idk. The thing is, the food there is good, there's nice people, and they also sell wine made out of the local fruits for like 6 or 8 dollars. Homemade. Good stuff. You're not going to regret it. Edit: I forgot to say it's a 40 minutes to 1 hour drive to get there, and another to get back, nothing outrageous, but worth pointing out.
I'll never forget I was in a small restaurant in a small town in Spain with some friends. The place was filled with local families having dinner. As we were drinking we would say "salud" to each other, and a little girl in the table next to us would say "apaga la luz" and everyone in the restaurant would laugh. Anyway, you guys saying salud when you were drinking the mezcal made me think about it. Keep up the good work!
Great video! One of my closest friends is from Durango, he always speaks highly of it! And y'all, I fell OUT with the sound effects (Crowd Reaction 6 from Epidemic Sound? lol) when you interviewed the first gentlemen with the drug charges. I use that sound in some of my videos too LOL
I can't believe you guys visited my soon-to-be hometown! I'm glad both of you had a great time. Maybe the next time you visit (and I'm actually there😅), we can eat gorditas at Gorditas Doña Peña ❤
Omg!! Durango is the place, couple of my coworkers are from el Estado de Durango and they keep telling me Maggie you need to visit my my home State and for what i see its afor sure thing. Thank you guys 🙏🏼
Glad to see you back in Mexico. I have been in Mexico for 20 years, but still haven't visited Durango. Thanks for the video. If you are ever planning to be down near Patzcuaro again, let me know. We could plan some videos. Feel free to find me online and drop a note. -Brian Fey aka theBrianFey.
I miss it! On Sundays the Durango Centro has concerts and activities. They normally close the roads to set up a chill environment. ❤❤❤❤ I miss it and want to move there. Everything about it is just right!
!Que viva Durango! My mom hails from a smaller city in the state of Durango and on my dad's side I have cousins in Durango, Durango! It's a beautiful city as you have seen. The people are kind and the food! Yummmmy! Just watch out for those scorpions! hehehe Regardless, I love it there and hope to return in the near future. Enjoy!
PS I have heard my parents talk about Dolores Del Rio many a time growing up. Granted my mom is in her late 90s now so know that Ms. Del Rio was very well known during her era.
Great video,I always thought that Durango was like they paint it in the movie desperado, dessertic, super hot, poor and sepia.thank you for giving us a different perspective.
Thanks for the video. I'm moving with my dog to Durango March 2024 after living on Baja peninsula for 20 years. Looked forward to getting away from the tourists area with high. Ost of living.
That’s my home town and the city of film making, well there is a lot of people moving there now, actually my gray grandfather , is Domingo Arrieta , he was the 1st governor after the the revolution (civil war) , there is monument and a main Blvd after his name
Love this video. There is a guy on TIKTOK, he’s Mexican American but lives in Durango and highlights Durango and Mexico overall. Cant wait to see more of your ventures. BTW, we moved to SMA and love it here. April, I feel you. I share the same sentiments about SMA as you. We met up with Michelle last week at her brunch. She and I finally got to meet in person. Beautiful Soul.
Hey! We’ll have to find his TT because we really like what we’ve experienced so far here! Glad you made it to SMA! Magical isn’t it. And it’s a completely different vibe CDMX. Meeting Michelle was a beautiful welcome to the city and I’m glad you got to meet her!
Fun fact: A lot of the original Magnificent Seven was filmed in/around Tepoztlán, Morelos (where I met my husband and where we have our home). This area was also Emiliano Zapata’s stomping grounds. Lots of stories and legends. One of our friends whose ancestors have lived in this Valle Sagrado since time immemorial has an old, thick walled adobe home built nearly 500 years ago. It has bullet holes in the front wall from the Mexican Revolution.
@TheYarbros- Did u visit El Cerró de los Remedios? There’s a long a*s stairs to climb up there,& and an old church up there if u make it. People also like to go there to work out by climbing them.
This was the main reason we came. It's one of the least expensive places in Mexico but I thought it was a dangerous and super-sleepy poor town. Ohh, was I wrong. It's not big city but it is vibrant, active friendly, clean and affordable!
You guys didn’t even go to the sierra, just rent a cabin for the weekend and you will see the best forest 🌳 ever, how about the zone of silence too for a weekend trip. Desert on the east, plains in the center and sierra on the west, where you can find the coldest place in Mexico. Durango is so beautiful that a town in Colorado was name after this state in Mexico.
The Four Ladies of Hollywood is a 30-foot-tall sculpture that stands on a traffic island at the juncture of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. The design is intended to be a tribute to four trailblazing women of color who broke boundaries during the Golden Age of Hollywood: Mae West, Dorothy Dandridge, Anna Mae Wong, and Dolores Del Rio. 😎
