I found myself picking the 2 men artillery recon way more often now, the smoke trick plus radio is really good and you don’t really bring much arty in maverick decks anyway. In some division you can even get 222s or recon 250(5 point for an armored recon vehicle is pretty good imo) for transport. And since recon squads are often positioned further ahead than leaders I quite often found enemy mortars/light artilleries/AA inside radio range and easily exploitable by mortar half tracks. I even got accused of hacking because of how quick I killed his stuff which is pretty amusing.

The Nashorn is very disappointing as an AT weapon for some reason but it thankfully is quite good as an assault gun versus infantry and other light targets which makes almost no sense for a vehicle designed exclusively for AT. that double mortar against the SK18 was an awful investment, it took 160 points to kill a single howitzer and took 40 mortar shells to do it. Yeah this was a hard watch

I dont know, 80mm mortars are pretty much some of the most effective arty, quick aim time, good scatter and high rof.

The mortars were effective while they were around. The IG 33s were absolutely shredding him. the problem is they were bunched up and easy targets for the nebel

Some bad RNG for SteppeKnight, oof! But also some key mistakes I feel. In particular losing the first two PaK.177s on the topside really let those armoured cars tear that flank wide open.
