This is such an easy to call make. When you factor in the line the guy took, odds he's getting, position, the fact I can see his cards on the screen, and it saying villain has 0% of winning the pot.

Not really much of different spot if you think about yes you have top pair second kicker which is a great hand in NLH in most spots but the bottom line is the line this guy took he's so polarized he's telling you I have AA, set, or complete Air and you need to pair your right in that spot. He’s got top pair (king) with a queen kicker. No flush, no straights on board, aside from this being this deep into the main event that’s a standard call. The over bet makes it even easier of a call. If he had a set or two pair there that bet would have been way smaller. Again give the circumstances it was a ballsy call, but in general wasn’t anything crazy.

@@knightwagner He also has kt all 9 combos and 8 combos of ak plus 3 combos of tens and 3 combos of trees and 6 combos of aces. So there are a lot more value hands that he is doing this with then just sets. What do you think are his bluffs? He only really has one natural bluff and that is q9s, since he doesn't open q9o from mp I would guess. He might 3-bet with aq on the flop, but will give up most of the time on the river with that, and even if he doesn't that's still not even close to be able to call with KQ. What makes this call so great is that the guy had a great read of his opponent to realize that he will overbluff this spot with some unnatural bluffs such as a4o, where most of the players would just give up with that on the river.

Attenborough in the hands I’ve watched him play seems to play way too loose/aggressive as a middle stack in the deep stages of a tourney. Feels like a solid cash game pro who doesn’t know much about icm. Getting it all in here with just KQ is such an icm disaster, even though in this specific occasion his opponent had a spaz bluff (equally bad) that he beats. He could’ve just check called 3 streets, won a health pot, and not had to put all his chips in the middle with a very real chance of heading to the exit and missing on large pay jumps.

It’s not an easy call. It was 3-bet on the flop and then continued to barrel off. The board ran out nicely. I don’t think it is the greatest call ever by any stretch, but that’s a tough call. I don’t know what the preflop action was, but of course that is a tough call given the magnitude. People who think this is an easy call, likely can’t make a lay down to save their life. If Dobric flatted the raise on the flop and was lead at on the turn before raising, then it would be an insanely tough call but Attenborough would probably go into check-call mode on the turn anyway. High level players are going to play their hands the same in theory. I’m sure he is capable of 3 betting the flop with a set. In position I’d find it a lot less likely though.

Purtroppo Dobric ha sbagliato la persona con cui farlo. Ha beccato il giocatore piu' scarso di tutti, dove si vede, durante tutto il torneo, che questo una volta entrato in mano, calla fino al river... Infatti nell'heads-up finale ha fatto ridere

I think Attenbourogh should have Raised the turn and If Dobric raises all in maybe fold? Still have had 20M ish to play with.Then Dobric also know that if he fires on the river most likely Attenboruogh will call. Thoughts guys? No Expert just expressing my thoughts on the hand.
@adyajlp

Who plays a set or AK like that these days??!! Not many people would play the flop or river like that with AK, calling the raise on the flop and a smaller sizing on the river makes more sense. And who bets that small on the turn with a set??!! Maybe I'm wrong, don't know what happened pre flop or the history between the two but this isn't a 'crazy' call. If he folds he's gonna get crushed in the future
