Lets not forget about the Arbiter from “The Duel” in Halo Legends. That dude took on a chunk of the Covenant all by himself. Major respect right there!
that version of Arbiter was a fucking beast , killed a whole of Covenants by himself while DUAL WIELDING 2 FUCKING ENEGRY SWORDS , i wish we can dual wield 2 swords in the game.
No scenes featuring Rtas? Every line the dude speaks is iconic! His speech during quarantine zone or the "then it is an even fight" line would have to be on here in my opinion.
Ripa was a criminal and a scumbag, but even he had his own twisted form of honor and respect. I really would've liked to have seen an interaction between him and Thel.
He said that his face would be last thing that Forge’s eyes will never see Atriox said the same thing to Master Chief and far as I remember the Arbiter the last time died Coincidence? I don’t think so, Atriox gave himself a hint of his own destiny
"We must cut into the heart of this infestation, retrieve the icon, and burn any flood that stand in our way!" "You are the arbiter, the will of the prophets. But these are my elites. Their lives matter to me, yours does not"
Brute ships. Staggered line! Shipmaster, they outnumber us three-to-one! Then it is an even fight. All cruisers, fire at will! Burn their Mongrel hides!
@@Nicolos117 Chewbacca is one of my favourite characters in Star Wars. They are Badass and Kashyyke is one of my favourite maps in Star Wars Battlefront 2. Using your logic I guess Sangheli are big evil aliens with weird Jaws and legs.
@@thesuperintendent4290 No, with my logic Wookies aren’t really fleshed out therefore they are just monkeys. Elites are very fleshed out with interesting lore.
I actually started getting into halo when I got the Xbox 1 that came with halo 5 and mcc, so my first ever campaign was halo 5. I was only 7 at the time so I didn’t pay much attention to much of the story, so I really enjoyed the whole campaign because I didn’t know what was happening. I loved everyone’s spartan armor in the game, the maps, the gameplay really. So whenever I say something positive about halo 5 people say I’m not a true halo fan but I’ve played all the halo campaigns now and I’m glad to see no one disagrees with me
@@skullerton9858 you see 5 was built for esports, that’s why it has the best multiplayer of all of them, but a lot of people don’t like advanced movement, and or the realistic art design.
I am just gonna say this Arbiter is a way more interesting and badass character who actually has a story arc. Chief just comes across as such a yes man to me , Arbiter comes across as a true leader. Best halo I played was in Halo 2 during his missions.
Chief and Arbiter are supposed to compliment each other. I fcking HATE what 343 did to my love Halo, but people DO always forget that even though Halo 3 had awesome missions and campaign, halo 3's story was ass. The entire games story was just a shittier watered down version of halo 2s last 4 or 5 missions. Halo 3 was one hundred percent saved by Marty O'donnells soundtrack and his decisions to kill off most of halos main characters to give it weight. I love halo 3 but god damn it just wasted the arbiter. halo 2 set up the arbiter with an unmatched level of cinematic storytelling and halo 3 squandered it
Then you clearly know less than nothing about Spartan-117. He's anything but a yes man. He will literally disobey orders from a superior if he thinks he has no choice but do said thing. If you're really interested read some expanded universe lore. You'll see he's the exact opposite of a yes man. Arbiter is the yes man. Blinded by the prophets lies until half way through Halo 3. Man you really don't know s**t about s**t huh?
@@TheDirvish Idk if this was true or not but apparently initial reactions for the Arbiter weren't great which is why they heavily scaled back on his story after Halo 2 and if it is true then that sucks even more because we couldv'e had much more but people didn't know what they had
These scenes are all indeed badass. Thanks for putting this together man! Maybe even make a part 2 with some scenes of Ship master in halo 3, as well as some Arbiter/Ship master scenes from halo 2!
I remember playing halo 3 for the first time and seeing that arbiter clip. I was so fun pumped! I was lik “OMG!!!! This is sooo cool! Elites working with humans!”
1:30 every single time I see him do his stupid gymnastics all I think is, “It would be funny as hell if he just slipped and snapped his neck and that would be the entire boss fight.”
As much as I love the Arbiter scenes from Halo 2, including all those moments would've dragged the video on forever and overshadowed all the other elites which I didn't want to do
Arby thinking about how chief could have just killed him: Were it so easy Chief silently thinking of 100000 different ways he could jam the arby's arm down his throat
At 7:53 the arbiter did not need to wind up and do a massive swing of his sword like that…..it’s plasma, it will burn through humans with ease. A quick flash cut wouldn’t easily gone straight through forge and ended the fight.
What's that scene where it shows a dark hallway. Then the energy sword comes on then the elite comes out of camo and basically jumps cares the camera? It's not here but I definitely remember
I rember the new series of halo bilnd bags but when i go a bunch of stores ghey don't have them ane i want the new ac untral rare and i am so sad i cannot get it
So many great Series of my childhood have died Halo ,Gears of War ,Starwars ,X-men ,Animaniacs ,Mass Effect ,Dragon Age ,Borderlands ,Star trek ,Marvel comic ,D&D ,MTG ,and other iconic series to Woke massage of stupidity and corporate greed .
Yeah, any Elites who decide to play second fiddle to fuckin BRUTES gotta be secretly pretty bitter about it, so dont expect them to be all cool about being honorable in gameplay lol
@@TheDirvishhonestly it makes no sense whatsoever for the elites to not join the swords of sangheilios, we need an actual explanation in the lore as to why because currently it'd be as if a group of humans joined the banished, it makes no sense.
@@bradly2056 yeah even though you killed him with the spike grenade his body vanished so we don’t know yet so probably it’s not confirmed believe it or not.
Don't forget there is a elite standing at 11 feet tall and was so intelligent the prophets plotted for his death, to put that into perspective Atriox is only 8 feet tall 😨
Then it is an even fight... I'll be honest I completely forgot to include that scene in this vid, it's one of my favourite lines from a video game ever
The entire game seemed so much more interesting. Locke actually seemed like a character I could be invested in, the design of the elites was on point, the Swords of Sanghelios actually seemed interesting, and the plot had me intrigued. And then the actual game just had none of that.
Dude that first glimpse of halo 5 of Locke talking to arbiter looked so promising - humans hunting chief - awesome looking elites - arbiter remembering the good times with his homie Then we get this one shitty fist fight, shit ass looking elites and not even one real bro moment between arby&chief. Wtf happened?
That shit turned into a horror game when Jega was mind fucking me with the Echos recording. Lots of motion sensors and a lot of sniper ammo. Went down like a sack potatoes
Chak’lok is the most mannered elite in my opinion Arbiter is the most trustworthy elite Jega is the most creepiest and badass elite And Rtas is the most noble and honorable elite
You know whats more crazy about that field marshal elite in halo reach from the first mission? That's the elite that kills Kat and is the last elite that kills Noble 6.
He’s not the one that kills Emile, we kill the field Marshall before we man the mac cannon, but it is kinda true a field marshal and his zealots hunt noble team
love the halo wars and halo reach elites. They were the most accurate in terms of size and deadliness. don't know why 343 made elites skinnier and shorter.
