Here another spectacular landing approach! I'm sooo happy! Yesterday around 6:20pm coming from Berlin with Turkish Airlines. Shoot with the Hyperlapse app and my iPhone6+.
+Alex Stewart thank you, alex! i was so excited, that i had to share and talk and show "my istanbul" to the person on the seat next to me, who was a very aware person...
@@demilicious2626 Wow you wrote that 3 years ago, hope you had a chance to visit İstanbul again at some point. Would strongly advice Cappadocia as well, honestly there are countless great places to visit but lately all I can think about is a Balloon Tour on Cappadocia as the sun rises :)
Amazing video dude. Really great. Was looking for such a video so long because usually we land from the sea side. Keep up the good work. Congratulations!
***** this doesn't belong here but honestly, I don't hate them. I'm just mad sometimes and that's why I use vulgar language :) You can write on my discussion wall
Beautiful! The 29th of April I go to Istanbul as well to visit my family. I'm from the Netherlands. We approach Atatürk always from the sea side so we don't get to fly above the city :( I'm jelly at you hahaha And this is a good video!! Thanks Greets from the Netherlands!
you were very lucky to get this scene. Pilots do not use this approach often. Obviously, winds helped you :). And more importantly, you overlaped perfect sun light angle. Beautiful
it is amazing video Arne, with spectacular dusk light over the beautiful city of Istanbul, my birth place. Your commentary is good too. Greetings from Melbourne Australia.
Fantastic video, magnificent view, a brilliant city and illuminating commentary... Thank you Mr Krueger for sharing such a gorgeous experience. Wish I could visit there ...
Hey Arne. Istanbul is really the most beautiful city on earth. The view is really very amazing. This video looks like your other video. Landing on the same runway. Everytime when I land in Istanbul (From Hannover, Ankara or other cities) the plane lands always from above the sea. I never had the opportunity to land like this. Greets from Ankara :)
Thank you for posting this. I miss Istanbul, been in 2007 and 2009. Such a spectacular city on all levels. I was amazed by the new bridge over the Golden Horn. Asian Istanbul looked much clearer than in your first video. Many new buildings near the airport. Would love for you to do a flyover of Levent and Maslak. KUDOS !! Regards from NYC.
Habe schon seit langem so ein Video gesucht, sieht hervorragend aus! Danke für deinen Upload, sieht riesig aus die Stadt. Und die Präsentation ist sehr gut, mach nur weiter, grüße aus Bosnien.
Woooooow very beatyfull!!! Im 19 years old and i never been there( im a turk ), which is very sad xD. I hope you had a very nice holiday there. Sry if my gramatic is bad xD.
amazing shot of landing via the Bosphorus! I once experienced this magnificent view over the Bosphorus bridge because of the heavy traffic during the high season and I was so happy as I've always wished to see this part of the city. Thanks for sharing your video!
You also see the new stadium of Beşiktaş ( Vodafone Arena ) which is under construction near Dolmabahce Palace 2:29 ( right bottom on the edge of the screen )
Darn, I never had this approach. North bound approaches are particularly dull (other than minor turbulance over the Marmara sea at final :) ). What a scenic landing... Love it.
