I like the fact that the audience finally acknowledges that the XPS series has significant QA issues. I remember all reviewers praising 9575, and how bad it was, with constant battery and keyboard issues and main feature of the pen input bugging a lot. That was a terrible device considering the high price, and after multiple replacements and repairs I thought that Dell just buys every reviewer up to LTT and those issues will never be brought up.

There’s no way Dell still calls these laptops an “Extreme Performance System” when the only cooling this glorified Ultrabook has is two extremely thin heatsinks coupled to a flat Apple-style heat pipe on an AMD64 compatible

@@beefycroissant6485 If that's the case, then it seems many of them have been defective as many people have reported issues. I got an ASUS Zenbook 14X instead. Cost less but feels like higher quality. Better display. Better battery life. Better everything.

I have the MacBook Air 2020 with Intel i5 10th Gen. Whenever I use Safari and play a 1080p RU-vid video, it gets warm. Play a 1440p video and it gets hot. 4k and it will turn into a Jet

Sad part is atleast the touch bar was dynamic. The buttons changed with the app being used. This lost the tactile feel of a button press and the keys don't even change for that sacrifice.

At this price range, a MB air is a better bet for longevity and overall build quality... The only issue with Mac is if you're an android user, it's a bit finicky. Once you have an iPhone and a Mac, you'll understand why many people use Apple.. yes the cost is high, but the products last for a while and you get constant OS updates. Lastly, if you're a tech enthusiast who changes devices every 2 - 3 years, the resale value is much higher, so it's easier to trade into a newer model. At least in my country. Just got a MBP 14 M1 for a decent price (you can skip the M2 and get a M1 for a cheaper price, but still an incredible chip)

@@MonsieurGuyas someone who has a MacBook Pro, a Lenovo ultra book, and an Alienware laptop, I’d say that’s accurate. You don’t know til you use a MacBook why it’s so popular. I just got my first MacBook on Tuesday. I still love my Windows and Linux machines but the Macs… it’s different in the most incredible way. And yeah I won’t have to upgrade it for years if I don’t want to.

Yet the MacBook is still easily more beautiful and more functional. Of course, both have lots of shortcomings, but I know which one _I’m_ personally going with.

People should realise there's *phones* that still Come out with headphones jacks. Even in a tiny space compared to this laptop they still managed to fit in a jack. And they always can. "Battery life being affected" is bs zenphon 4 has one and the battery life is better than most flagships without a jack. They just removed it for "slimmer" sakes and maybe you shave off 2mm if that even. It was stupid and yeah a way to chuck people to use their Bluetooth earphones devices that's all. Nothing to do with battery size or slimness even though they tried to explain it through that, real reason is they wanted people just to use their own Bluetooth earphones rather aftermarket ones. And yeah it worked. Their dream world is getting rid of the usb C port but we're not there yet. But eventually it'll happen

Type C charging was not a fail though, I own a macbook with no magsafe and it’s fine but magsafe leaves space for another port
