That's true I've seen green makeup that turns pink /orange /red / whatever other colour you'd put on your face, but at least it's a colour turning into a different one? Idk I can wrap my head around that, but the clear going on red is blowing. My. Fucking. Mind. 💥

i use to have something (when i was a kid) from the dollar store that did that. it wasn't pretty, it was just white but when you put it on it pretty much stained your lips neon pink.

I have mascaras & lipsticks that I've paid $30-$40 for (fortunate enough to afford it when I want it) but I still can recognize that those prices are expensive for those items and a lot to spend on them for the average person.

Considering it's a Japanese company, and all Japanese companies (unless they hire a specific english translator who is fluent) will have poorly written English on them, it's not a fake, and you can't judge a japanese product by the english that's written on it.

It's probably a formula that changes color with temperature. The warmer body temperature makes it change to pink.

I'm fairly sure it's using the dye Red 27, which is colourless in a waterless formula (like the waxy lipstick), but turns red/pink when exposed to moisture on the skin. It's the same stuff they use in that green lipstick that turns pink. :)

No the lipstick is heat sensitive . It is pink at first, but then changes color when it is exposed to heat. If u put it on for example: a paper, it will stay clear.

Can I just say that many Chinese lipsticks are designed to be worn as a gentle gradient lip as well, since it's a very popular trend in East Asia at the moment. You might like to explore that look with this lipstick in your own time - it suits all face types and sometimes it's nice to explore other cultures' fashions. Also, it's not important but the 'mei' in kailijumei is pronounced like the month May 😊
