I WOULD LOVE to see a video from Sid's perspective on the whole pregnancy/labour/delivery - we never really see it from the man's perspectives - would love to hear his stories and opinions :)
I am amazed by your honesty and expression. I'm almost 40, childless, and not likely to ever have kids. I've listened to a lot of women discuss child birth, but none have ever left me feeling as though I witnessed it. That is, none until you. May you know many blessings from your precious baby.
dina mentioned eating dates for those of you that don't know eat ajwa dates during labour its helps so much you will nottice the difference it helps with contractions its sunnah it works 😊

My water just broke by laughing so hard and i'm not even pregnant.. Dina wallahi you're the funniest ever. If i get pregnant and have to deliver i will fly you out to Holland. It will be hands down the best delivery ever.. 😂❤
I gave birth without gas and air...I hated the sensation so after a couple of puffs I kept refusing it...sure it was painful but like Dina said the gas doesn't lessen the pain anyway 😊
I gave birth without any help, like in the old days. the contractions were painfull as hell because in a matter of 3,5 hours I went from 3cm to fully 10cm...soo yeaaahh it was like a rollercoaster ride...and with the second child I also want it to be without any drugs.

Dina you cant imagine how I enjoyed watching your video, I remembered exactly how i got birth my baby boy i was about to cry This subject is so touching , going through all this pain and than no time to heal I remembered my self crying in the delivery room and asking all the nurses to help me they said you are not punching correctly!!! I was about going crazy this is my first time how am I supposed to know !! After delivery i was so depressed, i felt so alone and i had difficulties in communicating back with my husband, i was depressed for nearly a year!!! That was my worst year ever ! My son now is 2 and a half years old I can't imagine my life without him i adore him I couldn't imagine there is such a strong love ! I was surprised that you didn't take epidural. Almost every single youtuber mom shows us that having a baby is easy and peaceful but the reality is totally different ! Motherhood is challenging. Thank you dina for being real and honest :)
Congrats Dina , this is all normal my darling and you will b a great mom! I went through postpartum depression when i got home after having my first baby , feeling all tired and lonely , with my second baby , i enjoyed every bit of motherhood and i didnt have any postpartum issues , it is weird how our bodies reacts some time but im sure every time Hana smiles u forget all the pain ❤️

So good that you touch upon postnatal depression. It's such an important thing to talk about so that people don't think they are alone about it, and knows that it's a normal thing. And therefore they won't feel guilt as many do, and can get help and get through it
I have had three children and never thought of the steps we go through before delivery. Your description brings back such vivid memories. (Hannah & all the contents ) My youngest is twenty eight years of age now. Thanks for taking me back to that moment.

+Sally Hughes don't worry it'll be amazing! and you'll be awesome. i gave birth on april 21st. I was scared at first but it goes quickly. As soon as you deliver you will not remember any pain and you will have a happy little baby....hopefully yours will not pee on the doctor -_-
Hana is blessed to have such an awesome mom like you Dina! These first couple months upto a yesr will be slow and tiring for sure.. But these are the most precious time when you will look back.. You are so correct when you state that the challenge comes when you are home with the baby. I have one child also, she's now 12 yrs of age but I remember going through postpartum very heavily. Things will begin to calm down soon...For me at the three month post baby stage, I began to feel normal physically and mentally. Again, very soon YOU will absolutely love being a mother even greater. OMG YOU REMIND ME OF MYSELF WHEN I GO INTO LABOUR.. I have 4 kids and can say it was so funny to hear your labour story. The only thing I can say about myself when I am at the end of labour I get angry if anyone talks during contractions.
So I made breakfast, did my bed, did my 3 year olds hair, put cartoons on for her and now I may sit down and watch this peacefully! been waiting to watch this since last night :D

Wow, that was a great video! I love how you took us through it like thought-by-thought. I can't have children :( and for some reason hearing it all in detail was nice. It was like... I mean, I wish more than anything I could do it and experience it myself, and I can't. So hearing it in so much detail makes me feel like I am not totally in the dark about the whole experience?? I don't know how to put it. I've researched it and watched it and heard my friends talk about it, but... I just liked how you talked about what you were thinking through each step. It was nice. I think it's such a good idea people tell their stories as I wish I had something like this to watch before I had my daughter! I ended up having a water birth but the gas and air just made me so Ill! (me to my husband 6 and a half years ago) 😂 Until my girl was about 18 months I didn't even consider losing weight. I had friends telling me that it's about time I've lost the baby weight, so I told them to fuck off! 😎

I love birth stories! Gas and air is one of those things that I find interesting, since we don't have it here in the USA. All four of mine were born at home, though.
Oh, YES, the first meal after birth is the best food EVER!!! After my first, my husband made lentil soup. SO, so good, full of fiber and fluids and perfect! After my second, my mother in law made everybody a baked omelette & father in law bought a walnut Danish. The third was somewhat stressful and I think we ordered out. My favorite postpartum meal was after my fourth. My oldest made us eggs and put me to bed with the baby to nap. Not too shabby for a nine year old who got up before dawn, caught the baby (without comments about anything else that came out with the baby!) and then helped the midwife clean up.
I am 6 mnths pregnant alhumdulillah. After watching this video I feel quite nervous and scared about the labour and delivery part. Please make du'a for a safe a smooth delivery for me and all expectant mothers out there. Thank you.
Salam Dina! I've been following you for some time now and we both got married around the same time and I had a baby last year and it's so sweet to see that you've gone through it as well. I was always scared of the thought of pregnancy and delivery but after experiencing it I realized that any woman can do it! We were made for it. It's amazing to see your growth from before you got married to marriage, then pregnancy and now your a beautiful mother with a healthy beautiful baby! I love that I can relate to you and you really are one of my favorite people! Everything you mentioned in your article about the baby blues post Delivery is spot on. I went through it and it was one of the hardest times I've ever experienced in my entire life. Alhamdu lilah my son is 11 months now and it's only going to get better I promise you that iA.
