Chef Tokuoka was not talking about a restaurant; as much as he was talking about a feeling, a calmness, almost a way of life built into the surroundings. The location, the food, to make you feel the way you want to feel when you leave Kyoto Kitcho. With a new understanding of who you are. Damn.

I have not watched your videos in about 4 months, and I apologize. My best friend and I used to talk about your videos all the time at work. Sadly, he passed away suddenly 4 months ago. I had not been able to bring myself to watch your videos until now. I admit, I did cry some for two reasons. The first is that I believe he and I were watching this together. The second, that is such a beautiful venue. I hope when I visit Japan in a couple of years that I am able to visit there. I just love your documentation videos, they always have a calm and peaceful feeling and are so nice to watch. I need to tell you guys, the direction your videos have taken over the last couple years has just really struck me silly. I love how I've been able to sit behind my computer screen and watch your concepts evolve and mature, from KPOP Music Monday's to this breathtaking celebration of culture and food. The chef's words about enjoying not just the food that keeps us alive, but the experience of eating it as a whole. . . I am so blown away by this video. Please tell me I’m not the only one that was crying like a baby throughout this video? The Chef and Okami had the most beautiful words and sentiment to pair with such beautiful visual shots. Its fun, entertaining and informative This place is beautiful and this is a beautiful video. It is surprisingly different from the usual videos that you guys make.
