Such a wonderful place! Wears valley is beautiful. The wood color inside gives off such a warm and cozy atmosphere it's like a hug everytime you enter the cabin😂 well least I think so. Have stayed many times in the area been awhile, and your right the mts. are calling!! Fall time is especially beautiful. Thanks for taking rhe time to show this awesome cabin! Tonka has more porch to lounge on then any dog could need🤣make a hound dog jealous 😂😂. Those views are amazing!! Thanks for sharing!🤗👍🐕
I would go there as often as I could. I will be watching. I love seeing it all. I have never been able to go there but I always wanted to. I can see it through your eyes. Thank you for sharing
My brother has a big cabin , in Idaho, it sits in a big meadow looking up at the soldierman's. Its so beautifully decorated in a western theme, had the opportunity to stay there a night, would love to go back some day, I'm in far northern Ca.
Been to Wears Valley, a beautiful.place. Stayed at Bears Ridge cabins. Love it there, but Tonka better look out for a bear. One chewed up our trash can. Our cabin was great too. Love TGSM.

We’ve never vacationed there in the Winter months but I would not try that road if conditions were bad. I don’t believe their Winters are that bad but we don’t live there.
Hi Ann, the only one we saw was the one in the video that we saw when we arrived. Once Tonka spread his scent around and marked his territory, we didn’t see any around the cabin. They are definitely around though. Thanks for watching!
Such a beautiful cabin, and the views are incredible! We were in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area back in the spring of 2022. We stayed in a mountaintop resort with phenomenal views. The only thing I wanted to do was sit on the deck and admire the view. Within 5 minutes of our arrival there was a gorgeous black bear 75 yards away from our place. I got so many pictures of that bear and I was beside myself - so excited! You should try to tone down your enthusiasm, though. It was distracting.....
I have been in Pigeon Forge area for 10 years living and I’m all over the place filming cabins and I have never seen a black bear in the wild here in The Great Smoky Mountains . Where I was born in Southeast , Ky I’ve seen about 30 in the wild . There’s a place we ride side by side in Ky and you can see 10 at any given day . 🧡🤍Ren !

I’m a dog lover I ran a dog rescue for 4 years I had to have multiple spine surgeries so I retired but , I still have some Rescues that live at our home . I have 4 rescue boxers they are my 🧡🤍!!! I live in Wears Valley and it's an amazing place only thing that is we have way too many tourits coming here I guess if ur rich u can have it . These cabins r actually killing our mountains people keep building and within 5 to 10 yrs wears Valley weill look like Los Angeles its sad to be honest killing the wildlife building all of these cabins. Do not feed the bears keep trash locked up . Just saying . We love our lil community but these people have no ideal what is going on with the animals that live in the habit or mountain.

There are over 30,000 Cabin Rentals in Sevier County Tennessee, and even more on the North Carolina side. You could stay in a hotel that offers...bed/desk/bathroom or stay in a cabin that offers...Everyone gets a King bedroom with their own bathroom, full kitchen, Game room, outdoor grill, covered deck overlooking the Mountains so even on a rainy day you can sit outside. Hot tub for after the hike. The owners normally live out of state and own several different Cabin Rentals. They are often investment properties to the owners rather than vacation homes they share with strangers.
Gorgeous, perfect vacation location. About 10 yrs ago I visited a friend who lives at the base of M Smokeys in TN. We spent one whole day driving the area on a motorcycle, it was so relaxing. Didnt see the fireworks but there was a county fair going on in the valley. The region is breath taking!!

I grew up here in the mountains in Tennessee and I always think it's funny to hear people talk about the steep roads and the curves. To me it's just normal. I love our curvy steep roads.

Wonder what the bathrooms look like and how many, also would like to have seen more of the kitchen close up. Beautiful knotty pine cabin! It's ironic there's all that beautiful knotty pine (I LOVE knotty pine!) and they stick a white kitchen in it LOL!!!
It's beautiful but renting for a whole week for two people and not using half of the home because it's more for a family it's a waste of the rest of the house.a family would of loved it
