True I have been getting a lot of turn 1 dragon knight, circle, soul. And I have a hard time getting past it. I'm running kuriboh, and a lot of my wins are just people so annoyed that they haven't beaten me yet, that they leave...

@@jdp3578 the trick is to play fluffal and just make an army of over 3k atk beaters and every now and then you also match up with that cyberdark make a 5k towers deck. always fun when they concede once wale reaches 6k atk

I've won basically all my games off of draw power + staples. Deck has card advantage fr. If it gets backrow cleared it does struggle though.

I literally just played ritual beasts and summoned enough beatsticks to punch through everything. Banishing my stuff? Well they love being banished.

It's so broken it doesn't even need to be in a fusion deck

Garura, mudragon of the swamp, starving venom dragon. All are great targets and easy to make in basically any deck. What fusion decks do you play? Super poly is very good in basically all of them. Shaddolls, Heros, Invoked, Tearlaments. It’s also great in non fusion strategies. Like if you play a rank 6xyz deck then grarura is perfect because it’s level and can help you get into rank 6 plays.

U can splash it into any deck, Garuda and mud dragon allow for easy fusing of enemy monsters most of the time

You can even use something like 5 headed dragon since a theres alot of bystial dragon link branded stuff

Another idea is starving venom fusion dragon. I’m sure you can also do a Google search of best super poly targets

Agreed, ban fucking stun cards/kaijus/numeron and limit maxx c before doing anything to super poly PS: all you kaiju, lava golem, sphere mode bums, gomd. You can run 10+ tribute kaiju like cards but y’all crying about super poly????? Stfu

Super poly is format dependent on being absolutely van worth and being okay. But it’s in the same category as certain floodgates or handtraps like dimension shifter

That's not true though since it requires same type and attribute plenty of decks use multiple types and attributes within their own archetype. It's very similar to mudragon really

@Cuttlefish you play both and now you have near complete coverage when you factor in all the other super poly targets. It does literally hit almost any deck in the game.

The fusion of Dragon Knight protects the backrow. It's a powerful combination. Dragon Knight protects Eternal Soul and viceversa. You need to beat Dragon Knight in battle.

I say it's bad period, a quick play unrespondable board nuke that isn't dead turn 1 as you can set it, and use it as disruption to stop most plays in the game It especially nukes decks that don't have much grave utility, or decks that have utility that is limited to specific removal, I'm thinking icejades, unchained, random rogue decks like those that simply cannot play after the poly is dropped Board breakers are fine but a full scale spell speed 4 board breaker that is almost never dead first or second, and does not trigger any removal effects except for decks like tearlaments stupid ass "sent to GY by a card effect" condition is badly designed Now I get it's not super poly's fault it's the generic fusion cards, but the point is we can't have both and one is clearly more broken than the other

Between Garura and Mudragon, any mono-attribute deck is now a super poly target.

While that is true I still find it incredibly dumb that there's absolutely zero ways to respond. Even dark ruler can be responded to by spells and traps

DRNM, Droplet, Kaiju, Sphere Mode, Lava Golem. Super Poly is just one more such tool in the arsenal that's probably more powerful yet more limited and requires extra deck space. But most of those are also unrespondable in some way.
