Horde teutons with perma cav buffs can form Poland for more cav buffs + winged hussars, can also culture swap to Jurchen/Manchu for banners and Qing tree + EoC, which offers even more insane cav buffs… can create an absolutely ridiculous army-eating cav horde like nothing else in the game
I never knew about this cause I usually pick the third option for "prussian kingdom", which means you have to form prussia the normal way, but without religious limitations. Aside from the AE bonuses, prussia isnt that great till they are filling out the full national idea set. TO has better early game ideas, military wise. They (Prussia) dont get the 20% ICA till tech 10, and discipline is their finisher.
That your mission tree changes back to the one of your tag, when you unlock branching missions is actually not unique at all to this case. I think the game just cannot handle tag switching as an endgame tag since this is not supposed to be possible. The other famous example of this happening is by forming GB/Angevin empire via the parliament while being an endgame tag. You keep the missions of your original endgame tag unless you unlock branching missions. But your tag changes to GB/Angevin, such that you get their events. This can be useful to get the 5% ccr from Angevin events, while also benefiting from the mission tree of another endgame tag.
Tbh the one part with changing cultures and country at the same time, which u as an example showed with france and Prussia isn't really that much of a bug because idk who would wanna culture change when having that event... But yeah the others parts u have shown should be fixed... That's just my opinion though i might be wrong 😃
Have you seen his videos on Burgundy and forming Lotharingia? Any mission tree that allows you to form another nation via event let’s you form an end tag, complete their mission tree for permanent buffs, and then switch to another tag. Very beneficial

i dont know, they start with God awful Leader like most Theorazies. might be just me, but i get also very bad Heir's with them too. it only gets better when u can see their stats.

The Franconia mission for Brandenburg is also still broken for example... I mean I love CK3 and EU4 but shit like game-breakingly bad missions or events pisses me the fuck off. As far as I know, if you form "prussia" without being protestant, you dont get militarization. Also if you join the hre with no restrictions, you just form prussia the old fashioned way by getting tech 10 + protestant and poof you have militarization. Not the good total prussian militarization mind you, the shitty version that gives you a huge malus for being at peace. Only brandenburg gets "true" prussia. Plus the mission for +25 permanent pp is nice too. Problem is, brandenburg is poor as shit.
unless they changed it this patch you can stay catholic and get millitarization I just did a campaign with it because I find catholic stronger than protestant

You still get millitrization as catholic prussia if you go teutons and catholcism is generally better unless you want religious CB maybe @@Airland-xx3pr
