I did something similar to this to a Branded metaslave using Retaliating "C": They didn't even notice that their cards are being banished instead of going to the graveyard until a few combos later and then forfeited - all while it was Turn 1.

@@Melissa31179 the spell the opponent used drops cards from one own's deck to the graveyard to match the amount of deck cards with the opponent. Sending many cards to the graveyard also throws some cards into the graveyard, that are able to activate their effects from the graveyard. It is a very simple strategy which activates a lot of strong effects from the graveyard. Now, Dark Law is a fusion monster that banishes any card from the opponent instead of sending them to the graveyard. Thus hindering the strategy of using effects from the graveyard.

one time, i activated slash draw with the other player having 4 cards on field, he chained macrocosmo (he was playing metaphys), i banished 4 cards and got no draw, because i could only draw if the cards were send to the grave

Grass is Greener is a spell card that sends cards off the user's deck to the grave until both decks have the same number of cards in them, decks that like to have stuff in the graveyard use it for a quick start. POV player used the MaskChange quickplay spell in response to summon Masked Hero Dark Law, while he is on the field cards that would go to the grave are removed from play instead. All those cards that the opponent wanted to go to the graveyard got removed from play.
