I hope they do improve the pvp connections. It's been about 50/50 on if it's teleport unplayable vs fun. They are fun when they work though lol.

what about the near invincible players wonder what's causing that? this one invader was resistant to all forms of damage i was only hitting him for like 19 and 20 damage shots an i am hight lvl . Wonder if thats the result of a lvl 5000 player or something would they have super high damage resist or something

everytime im invaded by someone using this build its easy kills for me. as soon as the enemy lifts the bow up for the attack just dodge forward and no bolts will hit you.

I didn't know the Melted Dark Crusader sword has 3 Meta slots. I was using Jeffrey's Dagger because I thought it was the only weapon that had that. I'll have to swap to the Melted now next time I'm using the Dervla crossbow build. The 3-shot Dervla crossbow is good in true. Must haves are two weapons with Meta slots for the +10% more damage Aestrix runes x 6 = 60% more damage (or on 5 if you wish to slot in a different rune in one of the slots), and The Umbral Eye pf Lydia the Numb Witch (Main socket) for unlimited ammo. Pendant-wise the Inner Serpent Pendant: Dodging reloads your crossbow automatically is better IMO because of how slow reloading is without it. The best two Rings IMO are: • Blackfeather Ranger Ring: Deal additional damage with bows and crossbows • Crossbowman’s Ring (Crossbow bolts cost less ammunition….1 less)...so instead of using up 3 ammo per one 3-shot you use 2 ammo per one 3-shot. It can go a longer way.

This crossbow got nerfed around 80%. Before patch i did 900 x 3 dmg, now i do around 200 x 3... EDIT: seems like they rised boss items levels from 5 to 10 so it is kinda obvious now why i did feel super nerfed

the only fixed the AOE Bolts, the dmg of all the other ones is untouched, means while u can miss now and the AOE Ones do not Oneshot anything anymore, the PVE and PVP dmg of the non APE Bolts are still the same dmg numbers as befor (but for pve its just fun tbh xD)

Things like this should never be nurfed. If you find something OP that takes full commitment and time to find and gather everything. Go for it. Elden ring rivers of blood. Fine that was a lil OP slight nurf but anything that takes you 1.) beating a boss 2.) finding 2 rings 3.) applying both 4.) socketing eyes 5.) using slecific weapons 6.) maxing those weapons out 7.) throwing specific runes on those weapons.

PVE they don't need to nerf but PVP needs to be balanced as it takes out all the fun out of the equation. Maybe the players will be happy with all playing with that one OP build but then the people will stop playing as no fun everyone just spamming the same thing.

Bosses in this game are a complete joke and ruin this game completely. I've never played a game where I killed so many bosses FIRST TRY. Highly recommend this game for new players to souls game. This will give you a good look at what not to expect from a real souls game.

I disagree. The difficulty seems appropriate although it definitely also depends on your build. There were only a few bosses I got on my first attempt (Iron Wayfarer, Fire Enchantress and Adyr are the only ones that come to my mind). I could've probably done some bosses with less attempts but I think I subconsciously didn't want to because I wasn't contend with my performance yet. Definitely a lpt easier on my second playthrough now using a radiance build compared to strength on my first playthrough.

LOTF NEEDS NEXUS MODS! Modding should come to PC and consoles. This way, modders could make tons of exciting mods giving players the ability to ''customize'' their experience. For example, creators would be able to make a mod that puts a cheat menu in the game. Opens the door for all kinds of possibilities to really experiment with the game. One hit kills, invincible, unlimited magic etc. LOTF would be many times more fun and exciting!!! Or a mod allowing manual saves, anytime, anywhere! YES BABY!!!

I have been recently testing this build and it is boring. You cannot be reached or stopped. The explosive bolts damage ignores all resistances and each shot staggers target regardless what they have equipped. There is no challenge where both builds can compete and therefore the pvp is not fun and it is unfair. It is too easy to farm severed hands. I will be using this to make it more aware so it can reported and nerfed. I would rather have a build that feels OP but not unstoppable. Whether I am invaded or invading if this build cannot be outsmarted then pvp is not going to be balanced at all. Use this build everyone and spread the awareness.

@@davidtsmith33I disagree. Only the triple fire crossbow is too much. Everything else depends how your setup is. The bow needs two blackfeather ranger rings and the pendant that allows you to reload after performing a dodge. Each ring adds 20% dmg. Either dual wield Jeffery's daggers or dual wield dark crusader melted swords for all rune slots to be universal. Each rune the same that increases the dmg of ranged weapons by 10% each. So there is your 100% dmg increase total and on top of that the bow ÷10 which further enhances it's dmg output and I believe a direct hit can cause over 1,000 dmg. Now as much I don't like the build because even if you dodge explosive dmg will still apply during your dodge animation and it's threes bolts being fired not one so dodging is already ruled out. Spells do reduce dmg of all types except explosove dmg. Adyr's shout can do some good but not alone. My point is I can only be killed if someone else has this build too and shoots first or if I miss my shots and the player is too close then I'm kind of screwed unless I have the stamina to parry. There should be some dual rather than take the fun away from the host or the invader.

@@greywolfchief7230 Yeah but remember you need all those same type runes, pendant, rings and Umbral Eye slotted which yes are good to make an effective build for it but on the other hand it deprives you from using other runes, pendants, rings and Umbral Eyes that would be beneficial for another build. Plus by using by using bows or crossbows you can't use spells which some like myself prefer. It's a give and take situation bro.

Thing is as it stands it's either Throwables, Bows/Crossbows, or Spells you're tied to during combat. It would sure be great to be able to swap them on the fly during combat because each of them has their advantages.

I'd suggest just running a bow until you get this with whatever duel bleed build you can find I played agility my whole playthrough with kukijins sword and hallowed condemnation could just get those swords he's using right off the bat but your melee will suffer greatly and it's already not gonna be good if you slot those runes in any bow or throwables can be slotted till you get the crossbow. Beware this is strictly crossbow DMG your melee will be less than mid. If you're doing kukijins quest you can use hollowed praise instead of kukijins sword or grind for left stillness's

Someone did that to me the other day. Tbh doesnt really phase me much, if you have to play like a bitch then you gave up before we ever even fought. I was behind a pillar and it one shot me with 1100 phys resist and 500 to all elements. No point in stressing over that.

I mean it’s worth it right now, I just finally beat the game last night after putting 38 hours in and it’s 100% worth the money. I didn’t have any optimization issues whatsoever when I was playing personally

stuck in the same area for 3 days now, because everyday they patch vigor farm, but well, fixing a bug where a door which lead near the end of the game is locked after killing a boss, not worth it

It does not. For ranged weapons the elemental damage just shows the scaling of the spell you're using if you were to shoot that element. It doesn't do all three every shot

I've been using this as my build on NG+. I see no issue with this. PvP shouldn't have been in this game to begin with so it's a non issue. Just delete it and move on honesty. Runs like ass anyway. If they're going to nerf the damage, they need to cut the NG+ cycle endgame bosses health. That shit takes forever to chew through even with a broken build. This game is a mess. lol
