@@haftbafahl8223 when you first get to the abbey of the hallowed sisters area, keep progressing up till you get to what seems like a courtyard that has a large tree with pink leaves in the middle. He will be upstairs next to some crates.
You get pietas sword after the mill bonfire region you'll know if heading in the right direction you'll be see iron wayfarer the 2nd time I hope this helped you out
This game has huge problem of making things difficult just for making them difficult, most of the time there's 2 or 3 strong enemies together, so no skill is involved it's just inflated difficulty. Plus they are too afraid to give the players actual power outside of the broken builds
To get lucent beam you have to almost complete Exactor dunmires questline. Once your able to give him the umbral book he'll sell it along with some other spells
You can also get it as a drop off those archer chicks with the dogs. because i have that spell but didn't buy it from dunmire. Same thing with that shield throwing spell those knight guys use. They hurl the energy shield as a ranged attack. They can drop it as a random reward if you kill enough of them.
You can respec the second you get to the sky bridge hub place. The vendor in the umbral sells 1 respec item and another vendor lets you spend it to respec.
@@dragonwazI was Pyro and I'm just finished the 1st beacon boss, I want to respec to radiance but I'm not sure how the weapon system work am I gonna get the gear I need or the radiance spell weapon?
Unfortunately, I won't have time to play the game before spider-man 2 comes out, but it seems to be for the best. I'll pick it up later when I have time, and they've patched the game some more. Thanks for the build. I'll come back to it when I get the game.
I don't understand why developers keep releasing games that don't work. It's only going to hurt your sales. This is the only industry I know of that likes to lose money on a consistent basis by releasing products that are not finished causing thousands not to purchase it. If not more. Collector's Editions usually sell out in a day or so. You could get this Collector's Edition all the way up until yesterday and you could probably still buy it right now. That says a lot

maybe someone said this already but uh that hammer you start with is pretty good is it not? 47 physical 47 holy damage base stats seems good to me at least.
yeah it's quite good. But once you get Pietas weapon you will realise why it's better IMO. Pieta swings so much faster and has a huge range so you just mow packs and bosses down. But yeah, while earning the 40 blue tokens use the bonk boi hammer, running heavy attack is really strong on that weapon as well

huh, yeah I still don't get it but its all good lol. I used the hammer and shield, I like how it does this running sweep with the heavy attack and it seems to hit behind you on normal swings too. BUT it's all just preference at that point anyway. I just watched this video and i had the impression the hammer was very weak but it seems equal in power to most weapons@iMaPound420

Hello, I managed Lies Of P with the help of your videos and as an advance build with a lot of through ables - thanks for that. I would like to play LotF, but I'm a Souls noob and play almost everything as a wizard (Elden Ring Astrologer). Is it possible to play the game as an (almost) pure magician?
I bought the Ultimate Version and I want to play some kind of mostly caster, doing most from afar, but being able to get close and personal if needed. In Elden Ring I went the Astrologer route and ended up with two big ass swords. Wondering if I should start as Dark Crusader or as Orion Preacher, what is more noob friendly?

Are the Orimon runes necessary for Pieta's sword? It's A- in RAD naturally when you get it to +5. It doesn't seem like the runes really do anything lol.
the orimon runes doesn't show the added holy damage in the character stats but reflects in the actual damage to the enemy. you can actually stack 3 orimon runes on the sword and it increases the damage to 30% i think
I don’t understand how the runes work. I equipped the “massive increase radiance scaling” rune on this sword and the scaling and damage numbers didn’t change at all. Am I missing something?
I had a thought about soft caps for mana. If you take radiance to 40 and continue to level and the mana added drops - could you be better off levelling inferno not only gaining access to umbrall magic but getting more mana before soft capping?
with the aura spells, I think you can re-cast them to get them to stop. I need to test this to be sure, but I think this is how it worked for me. I realised it would just keep going, and didn't know how to turn it off. I tried casting it again, and it stopped. I think this is likely an on/off for these kinds of spells.
The Lightreaper build with his dual daggers at +10 and their special weapon ability melts everything. Easily most powerful build in the game. I did a second run with NG difficulty and got the Lightreaper in the first meeting with two attacks. Most bosses won’t require more than one or two hits with the daggers special ability. Soon gonna go to NG+, let’s see how the daggers do there.
2 nartun runes on a greatsheild and the manastone ring completely negates mana drain from the constant healing. Put either a 3rd nartun or the rune you get from gerlinde to make your greatsheild weigh 0. [Also Lucent beam goes brrrt, seems to deal way more damage ticks to blocking enemies. You can swap between either the extra holy damage or extra holy stagger amulets depending on if the boss you are fighting can get staggered by spells. Extra stagger let me stunlock NG+ Tancred for 60k damage with orius's judgement]

@@seemwhy I think dunmire was selling it after I gave him one of the quest items. Idk though causr I tried helping my friend find it too but we couldnt figure it out. 3 nartuns and the manastone lets you run the healing AND the defense boost spells 24/7 and still regen mana btw
The Orius Judgement is from the same vendor who sells you the Pilgrim Key, he will be quite late in the game (Sister's Abbey), he will be near a Seed-bed-thing, although, a warning if you want to do the boss fight on the area... DO NOT TOUCH THE FUCKING ADYR RUNE THE MOTHERFUCKER WILL DISPAWN. So at least buy everything he has before the boss or questline. Do not end like me. I had the money to buy the spell, but forgot about it. When I returned he wasn't there....
Better build, Power Stance 2 Pieta Swords, Go Naked Use the Princess Sting Amulet. One shot Ruiner with charged attack with Holy Blessing Weapon buff. The only issue in this game is the damage with dual wield is deceiving because you are hitting so fast so the number you see is just the last hit but you are really hitting twice. With two Pieta swords the lightning bolt come almost every second r1. Its pretty crazy.
If you have farmed the Crimson Reaper before they patched it you could easily have more than 500 Umbral Scours for purchasing Boss gear. It's already patched on PC, but it's not patched on Xbox yet. I don't know about PS5.
I don't have Orius Judgement yet (still haven't found it. just about to do the abbess though, and have done tower of penance) I have this rad spell that summons swords though, going to test this out, as it is indeed, spam-able.
I dont understand why Orimons for the Runes. I have the sword +5 and without orimons it is A- scaling and with 2 Orimon its still A-. This seems completeley wasted?
Why is the NPC selling radiance buff disappeared in sky rest? I taked to him before but I did not buy those important things. When Im dead and tried to come back to check him, he is gone already? Where can I find him again?
btw for that other catalyst you must finish exacter dunmire quest line you gotta be like early end game though. there a bunch of videos on how to finish his quest
theres a ring that heals you on smite procs, w how often u can proc it w pietas sword it could be rly good, you can also boost smite build up w a radiance rune forgot the name of it.
i would make my immortal/minmax sky version. see the pinned comment or my channel. but sure, if you go bloody glory route you barely lose much outside of wasted agility stat which who gives a crap in this game, there is no pvp meta in this broken multiplayer game.
for the radiant weapon buff, there is a sound effect as long as its active. if you're using a mana regen rune (shield socket), the used mana will have been replenish before the buff even runs out.
Yeah and on ps5 I feel like the control does a vibration when it’s running out. But easiest way is when it’s active and you attack there is lightning around your swing

@@lpc93 lol dude 100% . Are you on ps5? If so the game felt unplayable on the first hour or so , but I went to the menus and went to performance mode and it runs so good. I could of never played on the other one ! The change of how smooth you move and roll when you switch the setting is Mind blowing
@@oxyszyes im on ps5. enjoying it a lot, the frame drops dont occur that much anymore, except on umbral areas where a lot is happening in the background. on multiplayer though i am teleporting a lot during invasion which is borderline unplayable

I naturally had 42 from just playing. Before the first beacon boss (hushed saint). Just kill all boss, including optional boss, and make sure you soulflay all umbral stigmas (those spirit memory things).
I started with Dark Crusader, and pumped STR a little bit (like 14, maybe) is that worth a respec, or just eat the extra levels, do you think, please? A Friend respec'd to this build, and said it's way better than going for colossal weapons (although I know they get better later, think this was due to the club you get near the start falling off, damage-wise and needing to be replaced in mid game) I've never actually done a Holy build in DKS before, so definitely up for running one here.
Build slaps, best in the game in my opinion BUT from my playtrough It’s ok-ish before you get the posture talisman, after you get it you break the game. Bosses were trivial, thanks for mentioning the talisman in the vid
Hope you're doing good Pwar! I don't know why you recommended the hallowed short sword over the orian hammer, cause looking at both base weapons right now and the hammer has a higher attack rate. Will the sword deals more damage once it's upgraded ?
I’ve sorta Min maxed RAD/Vigor and I’m going fine with min vigor I did dip a little into STR early game bc I was struggling with not many spells, not I’m level 65 I might reset and get rid of my drip into STR and put into Vigor just for a little more protection Running Pieta’s Sword duel with the Orian Hammer is really fun tho bc I’ve got that extra bit of STR…. Hmmm I’m at a crossroads idk where to take my build
