I agree with you....”free-shipping” is not a good idea. It’s trap of dis-honesty. I want my Etsy customers to realize the full value of their purchase and give them a choice different shipping options.

I have a hard time letting go of free shipping. I think it's a bad experience for a customer to want to buy a $15 mug and then shipping is almost $10 on top of that. This is a rough Printify example. What are your thoughts on situations like that? Thank you for the video!

As a consumer, I would never buy something that doesn't have free shipping. I'd order something that was more if it said free shipping when someone sees a product price, and then an additional price for shipping, it's a huge turn off

As a consumer I agree. There are so many companies now that offer free shipping at least with a minimum order that when I come across my skin care company I got peels from that charge fit shipping that I find it annoying and I buy less often from them. If there was any alternative to them that did have free shipping I probably would not buy from them anymore

most of ads are truly not worth it for 10 dollars or less profit product. lucky my net profit on my physical products range from 20 to 300 $, it makes them super profitable. I stopped using them on my digital products.

Yeah when i opened my shop in the beginning i did digital products and while ads skyrocketed by sales i was in the hole -$300 my first month because my products were like 2-10$ each lol. I learned real fast

The math in your graphic on the first part is off. The 6.5% transaction fee applies to the whole order total, including shipping, but you're only calculating it on the item price in the no free shipping example

Thanks for this feedback! We fixed the profit tracker to reflect 6.5% off total cost including shipping or no free shipping models and I cut this portion of this video where the graphic was wrong. I appreciate this comment to fix this mistake on my end! ❤

I’m starting to question free shipping because I can see that it really is hurting my profit. It’s hard to take the chance of removing that option when so many artists are selling their art prints with free shipping or the free shipping with over $35 and up sales.

Thank you for your videos and all of the time you put into this for us. I’m so frustrated to put it politely as I’ve attempted twice to upload a listing to Etsy. Please note this is my very first time, after spending 3 months doing much research, I received the dreaded suspension notice the second I clicked the publish button. I’m well aware of others having this issue, but I STILL do not know why. So, how can you correct something you don’t know what the issue is…..I’m at a loss and thinking of just creating my own website. I live in a very touristy area in New England and could just focus on this market. Any suggestions as to what to do with Etsy? I have no clue….I also don’t like the idea of them having sole control. 🤔So confused. Any suggestions are welcomed. All the best!

Be aware that scammers target new Etsy shops and tell you in your messages you have been suspended when you haven’t been. If you are referring to an inbox message in your Etsy store just ignore it. If it is coming from your “From Etsy” messages then message them back asking for clarification

There are 15 pre-filled products at the Printify prices. We left the list more open for customization as not everyone use Printify and this calculator is custom to the print on demand seller since their are 100 different POD providers and different companies. There is 2 tutorials that comes with the calculator to go over how to add your own products(handmade, local providers and any other print on demand company) inside of the product as well.

Is your finance tracker also applicable to Canadian sellers?

This is a great question! This finance tracker is based on USD so for any other currency like CAD then this is not applicable/recommended to use.
