Raiden teleport for me because it's so fast plus u can confuse the other person u can do it far up close in place and right in front of them plus multiple times
Ehhh, he was still only considered like a lower mid-tier. There was only one person who played Him in tournament and He had Manta to cover all of His bad MUs. Darkseid doesn't really have anything until He can set up trait besides okay-ish zoning. His buttons are bad and his neutral is pretty weak, and everything he has is super unsafe outside of EX bf3. Lost pretty hard to characters like Aquaman who had good buttons to keep him out and could outzone him.
@@DooDooWater9732-n5z Aquaman had a pretty polarizing matchup chart which is the main thing that kept him in check. After his first nerf he was almost never picked in any tournament by high level players besides occasionally Dragon. He had good match-ups but he had some very, very bad ones too, and unfortunately alot of His bad matchups were the top tiers. Starfire, Black Adam, Dr. Fate, and Catwoman all gave Him trouble. On the other side of things there were some mid and low tiers He fucking destroyed. Sub-Zero, The Turtles (Besides Leo), Enchantress, and Harley Quinn were all 7-3s and I'd debate that Aquaman vs Black Canary is the only 8-2 in Injustice 2. He also had a good match-up vs some of the best rushdown characters like Flash and Beetle. His biggest issue is His very, very high risk zoning options in some matchups leave Him absolutely screwed since He has to play aggressive in them and He has terrible movement speed and dashes, and no forward advancing mids to use in neutral. Poison Ivy really did almost everything Aquaman did and more, with way better tools for matchups where She can't zone.
i'm really enjoying these "best of" and "worst of" videos. it's nice to check out the history and logistical things in the older games that i had no idea about. i only really started studying frame data and advanced tech in fighters when mkx came out so i like seeing the characters and moves that were bad or broken in the games of yesteryear
Fun fact: Jon Jonz was cannonically dead during the first injustice and still a dlc for the game so maybe even tho he is also dead beastie boy could be a non cannon dlc character in injustice 3.

Some teleports in MK11 are fair. Skarlet and Kollector both have teleports that are pretty fair. But then the give characters like Cetrion a busted teleport as well. Just goes to show you NRS are kind of nincompoops.
His teleport is extremely gimmicky and telegraphed is the issue. He needs to setup trait for it, and its the worst option out of his different traits 9 times outta 10. Its fast but He HAS to set it up and it'll always go in the exact spot the trait is at.
back in mk 9 Ermac had a teleport that had the same animation of his blast, so in terms of mind game, it was tricky. although even if you amplified it it was unsafe but it started combo and whoever played mk9 knows, his combos hurt and were super easy!
I remember I played with a friend who's a die hard Scorpion main. He'd try to use Scorpion's teleport against me a lot to throw me off, but as Ermac whenever he tried to use the teleport I used Ermac's teleport to punish him hard, I got good at figuring out the exact moment of his teleport so I could use mine to hit him, and since he was in the air, I was able to slam and combo the shit out of him. I also loved using the air blast to make him think I was gonna teleport, so he'd block, but he'd let it up the second he realized I didn't teleport to try to punish me, but a teleport after that and he was in the same combo.
When foxy grampa would use darkside you knew that match was about to be hype. When someone did pull him out, they would just stream roll a match or 2. Super fun to watch.
He only gets a full combo if he lands a delayed teleport 3 or the slow overhead, so it usually wasn't a combo starter. Also instant air fireballs usually hit him out of the teleport.

@@davidmazula8637 Yeah you have to delay it, teleport instant 3 does not combo. Also if you do his enhanced teleport and then do a delayed 1 (at like the last possible second) Kung Lao will keep the armor for a few frames after he lands. Don't try that one too much on anyone who knows the matchup though, if you do the enhanced Teleport they can just walk away and there's nothing that Kung Lao can do about it.

Mk9 still my fav of all time like yeah the characters could do massive damage which people said were broken but most every character could so it came out balanced in a way and those huge combos took training to get 30 and above. And the Kung Loa tele was easily counted by a few characters like Kitana just jump kick fan and start a thirty damage + kombo
NR players have it easy with teleports. Try defending against a lvl 3 xfactor Dark Phoenix teleport, with 3 different projectiles flying at you, and you have to guess whether she's instantly appearing in front of or behind you.
You should make a video on what terms like 50/50 and whiff punishing and other terms you use mean. I'm pretty new to fighting games and I think it would be helpful
50/50 = A mix-up combo that hits high or low. Basically any move that makes your opponent have to guess. Like the supergirl teleport in Injustice 2. She could keep it high or amplify anytime to make it a 50/50 mix-up.
Whiff punish = When you make your opponent attack and they don't hit you at all. Like they get off the ground and immediately attack but they miss and now you attack them as a counter.
Mk9 Johnny/Smoke Smoke is a full screen with 1 frame startup and Johhny can parry literally anything and will connect even if you throw something and block, but it's his X-Ray
Unpopular opinion: Supergirls teleport wasn’t broken at all y’all just sucked, you easily listen to the sound cue and block both options standing and punish her for it
Punishing scorpion's teleport is a piece of cake, sheeva is harder but for me the strongest is Raiden's, recover to fast, can use it to zone and counter zone, he can fake the teleport and do the far away version, he can do it instead his grab string to mix up, it is a nigthmare chase them all around the screen and when they are cornered teleport to the other side to start again
Smoke in mk10 is friggin crazy, he has so many ways to tele and string, it’s almost unfair for how easy it is to use, but then in a good players hands...
It's surprising that MKX Scorpion teleport was as fast as MK11 Scorpion and it was a mid, yet didn't get nerfed, aside from it being armored when enhanced.

The Freddy Krueger teleport is soo hilarious when sub zero makes an ice clone and when Freddy teleports in front the player. He’ll get frozen. It means the Freddy Krueger player is very stupid.
