My actual phobia is heights (Acrophobia). But the other weird phobias I've learned/encountered people with are the most fascinating and somewhat morbidly funny: Anatidaephobia - Fear that a duck may be watching you Arachibutyrophobia - Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia - Fear of long words Ithyphallophobia - Fear of seeing, thinking about or having an erect penis Pentheraphobia - Fear of your mother-in-law Nomophobia - Fear of being without mobile phone coverage Geniophobia - Fear of chins Aibohphobia - Fear of palindromes

Trypophobia, fear of holes is a real phobia, but a lot of people who do not have it think they have it. People with this phobia are irrationally scared of holes. A good example that's often given is people with this fear are afraid of toasts, due to the tiny holes in the toast. The usual disturbing pictures that make people think they have it are just simply made disturbing. Like... I'd be scared of a horror game, pretty normal.

I wouldn't say I get irrationally scared, but it makes me _violently_ uncomfortable. Ant hills, honeycombs, the weirdly rugged bricks of the building I went to for middle school... stuff like that. Just... upsets me a lot more than it probably should.

@@Mr_Original It's probably possible that as many things this fear is more of a scale than just black and white. But yeah if holes or hole like looking things that seem normal to the majority of people but not to you, then I guess... well self diagnosing isn't a good approach due to biases and stuff. If it's not serious or making life significantly harder for you, not really a need to ask your doctor or a psychologist, unless you're curious. ^^

@@greenyneko2371 Yeah, it's not really anything that's significantly affected my life in a noticeable way, just really gives me the urge to destroy it or leave so I don't have to look at it anymore. I've got a few other discomforts or borderline phobias, but I can just remind myself it's an irrational fear, and tough it out.

24:50 - It wasn't the producer. It was one of the mechanics I believe from the garage in Pimp My Ride. Now keep in mind, there was a size difference: Dude was like 6 ft while the kid was like 5'7 or 8. He basically said that they worked hard on it and needed him to look more enthusiastic about it. That was still wrong that they did that, but just wanted to make sure you know.

I'm not an instrument expert, but the water phone functions similar to how wine glass with different levels of liquid create different frequencies. There are a handful of videos that explain it better but such a unique instrument that is mainly used for a foreboding tone is actually fascinating.

Also, my favorite dating show was one where the son/daughter has a couple that the parents dislike. So they go find another candidate (each one) to be the couple of their son/daughter. And then the son/daughter has a date with the candidates from mom and dad, and they and the actual couple have to see the date on the tv. And at the end, the son/daughter chooses with whom it wants to keep a relation

I can almost guarantee the apple thing was intentional. These dating shows always like to throw in curve balls like that to add artificial drama. It totally sabotages any potential relationship though because whether they want to or not, the person who was the butt of the show's joke are going to associate their partner with that bad experience for a long time, and people you meet on a dating show are probably not people you would feel like sticking around long enough to train that association out of you.

I got a fear of wasps bees they’re eh wasps are the devils of insects even worse are the murder hornets I was scared Sh🐬tless when I found out there was one in North American I mean I live in Ontario Canada and they’re were no reports of them being found but 😖😖😖😖hell I almost broke my finger trying kill one that got in the house I ran with my shoe and smooshed it with so much force that I bruised my finger and it was as purple as a grapefruit

I don't have a phobia, thank god, but I was absolutely terrified of anything that moved in the air that could sting me as a kid. Even today, at 25 years old, I'll kill and murder any wasp nest I can find. I'm not having one of those satanic hives anywhere near me, no matter the good they do. Bees are fine, and I very much prefer them, especially bumble bees or honey bees. But wasps can go back to the hell holes they crawled out of.
