Wow 😳💖 loved this so much. The capturing of the hike and scenery was absolutely perfect. Like Jonathan said "Magical" place. No man could create such beauty like that...mother nature is phenomenal. The food Kelly makes is to die for. What a wonderful day from beginning to end... bonus the Elk. 💗💗💗

How amazing that y'all are young enough to go and explore all these beautiful places!! Thank you SO much for sharing all these beautiful God-made places! Your young once, so enjoy all the beautiful nature God gave us in our country! Believe me, when your old (like I am) you really appreciate these vlogs and young folks like y'all who bring them to us! THANK YOU!!
Wow,that was an epic vlog! Y’all hit this one outta the park! Indian Creek was so beautiful it didn’t look real. Definitely as amazing as anything out West. The true natural beauty of Arkansas astonishes me💕. Cody you have the eye of an artist with your camera shots, unusual angles and great perspective. 5 stars guys! It’s gonna be hard to top this one but I know y’all will💕. Say hi to Johnny Wild👋🏻.
I agree this was definitely a home run, I've always loved Arkansas, my grandparents lived up in Springdale and we used to camp alot, I think that's why I relate and love Kelly and Cody so much, brings back great memories
I've only seen about a half dozen of your vlogs now. But in one of them you were showing us some Bigfoot cotton balls with wax in them to use as fire starters. There is another good thing to use that works really well also. Birch bark has it's own natural oil or sap, something like that, that can start very easily. Doesn't matter if you use a flint, match, lighter, etc. It is very good if you have nothing else to start your fire. Even if you're not around birch trees where you camp you can collect it, put it in a tin, and save it for later. Very beautiful scenery on your hike. Thank you for taking us along.
What a magical hike! Jonathan was right! Some of the landscapes looked like something you'd find on an alien planet! Just WOW! Thanks for taking us along!
I almost fell outta my chair when you said "Johnny Wild"...lol. Looks like he has a new topper on his truck. Absolute beautiful trail. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for taking me on that amazing hike. I sure as heck couldn’t do that now at 72 and I don’t think I could have even done it in my 30’s. I’m short & my legs are really short so even at the beginning elevation rise, I’d have needed ropes. I really enjoyed this video... one of your best... and Cody, I really enjoyed your excitement & appreciated your encouragement of your hiking partners & backing up Kelly when she climbed or stepped precariously. You’re a true southern gentleman!
This was the first video by you that I have seen. I don't know how I ran across it, but I am sure glad I did! Your tents caught my attention, and your channel title, "Dome Life," grabbed it and sunk in! I subscribed even before much of your video played. Thank you for making such a glorious video. People who have never been to Arkansas have no idea what a gorgeous state it is! I went to law school at the University in Fayetteville back in the late 1970's--three of the best years of my life! I think I need to go back there! Looking forward to your next video. Thank you again.
My wife and I have hiked over 18,000 miles each and the trail you are on has to be one of the most dangerous ever! It's gorgeous though. Thank you for taking us on your hike. Now I can't wait to get back to Camp and enjoy another great meal.
Now that was some very cool scenery. Thanks for sharing,as I will probably never get a chance to view it in person. My knees are not that young anymore.
Just WOW!! Loved your video! I couldn't do a hike like that but loved that you all take us along so we can see! AND your cooking ......I love your cooking!!!
Thanks for the PC mention - so glad you like the garlic press! Cody, you should be a middle school Science teacher the way you geek out over all of the nature stuff!
I fully expected to see the Forrest fairies flitting around on the trail. Mystical magical Arkansas. Great job Jonathon on that rope climb. That would scare the crap out of me! And that Pad Thai...YUMMO
I used Tim Ernst's book and hiked the Indian Creek drainage about 15 years ago. Beautiful place. Seems like we meandered around a bit more as the trail was pretty difficult to follow or non-existent at times. We got up to some point and there was a cave marked off limits because of a protected bat species, so that's as far as we went. I think we missed a lot of the actual creek views. Thanks for giving us another look at the drainage.
I am actually listening to this vlog at work. I will watch it later. That's how good you two are. You guys put out top notch videos (~);}!! I see you are also on Rumble. I try to hit your vlogs over there too. If you ever make it to the Adirondack Park in Upstate NY, dinner is on me. Again. The Dome Life ROCKS!!!
Most ppl here comment about the hike, but let me comment about the cooking. Most American will eat junk food when camping, but you guys do the REAL COOKING, especially your Pad Thai (+ authentic fish sauce) You might be the first American cooking Asian dish on camping I've seen so far. YESSSSS..... REAL COOKING. and that's what I do for living and camping. I'm a Chef btw. Like Robert Irvine said "REAL COOKING !". And that's what make you guys above and beyond...Great hike + great editing + Cherry on top ...REAL COOKING ! BRAVO !!!!
Absolutely beautiful video!! Amazing views and love the editing. Putting this on my bucket list of places to see! "Johnny Wild" Love how good of a sport he is, chilling with sister and brother in law. Wonderful family memories guys!
Another great vlog. A wonderful location and WOW the scenery was epic! Thanks for mentioning Jamie and the Garlic press, you made her day! Keep up the great work! Jonathan is the man! Him learning the rope climb was awesome. Good stuff!
I make it at home all the time, I'm gonna start making it at camp now. Sometimes I skip the meat and just do zucchini and mushrooms. One of my favorite dishes too!
Nicely done, I thought this was 1 of your best videos. You covered a lot but was a rhythm to everything. Awesome trail and not so easy to film while hiking that kind of terrain. Whippoorwill brings back childhood memories.
This campsite and that hike is AMAZING! We live in a beautiful area here in northern California but Arkansas is on my bucket list now. Having said that the cliff walking is a no go for me. LOL I would be paralyzed in fear of falling off of it. I could do the ropes, but that cliff with no ropes, no way. You guys are braver than me! ;) Gorgeous area!
Yes! What a gorgeous hike you three went on. I'm not that brave. Some of those drops were so far! Thanks for showing us this hike! Was thinking I hadn't seen a stir fry, that's what I thought until I saw the egg. That was my clue to Pad Thai. It's always nice to see Jonathan!
one of your best vlogs! thank you, now i've got another hiking destination to add to my list. and the food..... y'all do camping right! keep on doing it!
So the first video I found y’all on the one where your stuff got stolen. I’m going back to the beginning of the vlogs to catch up. This is absolutely a stunningly beautiful place to visit! I knew nothing about Arkansas until now! Thanks for sharing 💜🥰
Just realized i was subbed from my other account…anyhoo…this is perhaps one of your best visually speaking. Love how Cody gets so excited when something is ‘cool’. Great content as always!
That was an awesome hike. You guys should guide people to go there. If you did, we would do it. All we have to offer is a day or two at the beach in Florida. Cody does a great job with those videos! Great for a CPA/accounting major! Just kidding! We do love watching your videos and glad you stayed home last weekend. That was a good video, too. Come to Florida for a meet up! We are off to tour New England in our class B in about 25 days. But who is counting?
We did eye of the needle a couple weeks ago. It is quite dangerous. Super fun and extremely rewarding though! We came out in the dark in the rain! I do not recommend doing this on a rainy day. Y'all captured it quite well great job guys!!
@@exploringnature6319 Huh?? You dont know me like talking as if you know where I have travelled..I been to many places other than the US..I am giving these guys a compliment that Arkansas is a beautiful place..obviously you dont think so..please dont tell me to expand myself, when you know nothing about me..these are silly comments you are posting to a stranger
Awesome Video! That hike looked amazing and is one we will have to do. Although the scenery is different, it reminded me of the Buffalo Mtn hike in Silverthorne Co. It's very difficult and a bit sketchy, but it rewards you with some beautifull scenry.
I was wondering if you are writing a cookbook? Your recipes all look so delicious! I think you would sell out of the books! Great job you two on your RU-vid channel!!
